Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 3831: Four New People

  • Next Chapter

Alex walked into the palace after Bladedance. Sunflare remained behind, a quiet watcher to everything that would soon follow. As Alex arrived inside, he saw four figures sitting around the couches along with the Sky God and Killshot, who also appeared to have been there from the start.

He hadn’t seen the woman anywhere for some time, so he couldn’t help but wonder where she had been.

The other four figures were ones he had never seen before. Two men and two women, each with a very different look from the others, sat next to one another, creating a friendly atmosphere, albeit one that was clearly manufactured rather than natural.

"Well, you wanted to see him. Here he is," Bladedance said. "This is Dawnblade, my disciple."

Either that hadn’t yet been revealed to these people, or they hadn’t believed it until now, but in either case, they showed stunned expressions as though they hadn’t expected it at all.

Alex looked over each person.

The one on the very left was a muscular man with tanned skin, sporting no beard but a bushy mustache. He wore a simple brown robe, though upon closer look, the robe itself seemed to be made of dirt.

The one next to him was an older woman who had still retained her black hair. She wore an olive-green robe with red lining all around. She wore no jewelry at all, giving her an enchanting look.

The other man sat on the couch next to her, with one leg over the other, leaning slightly to his side. Short golden hair sat on his head like a field full of ripe wheat. His robe was fully white, and despite that, it looked quite decadent.

The last woman had short auburn hair and wore a simple black robe with minimal jewelry adorning her. Of them all, she looked the least like a god. Alex wondered if this was perhaps the Fatekeeper.

"Let me introduce you to them," the Sky God said as she pointed to them all. "This is Tealspirit, the Technique God."

The one the Sky God gestured to first wasn’t the one in the olive-green robe, but rather the woman with auburn hair. Alex hadn’t expected the woman to be the God of Techniques.

"This is the Saber God, Swiftcleave," she said, pointing to the man with short blond hair.

"This is Quietspring, the current leader of the Fatekeepers," she then said, gesturing to the other woman.

"And this is Ironwall, the Defense God."

The final man with the bushy mustache gave a big nod when the Sky God came around to him.

"So you are him, huh?" he asked. "The one who made the impossible possible and did what took the previous War God reaching the Celestial Realm to accomplish."

"He has accomplished much more than that, hasn’t he?" the Saber God asked with raised eyebrows. "Unless my senses are lying to me."

"I don’t believe they are," the Defense God replied as his eyes narrowed as well. He turned toward the Sky God. "Your Brilliance, is this real?"

Alex sighed inwardly. While everyone else either ignored it outright or simply didn’t know what to make of what they were sensing, these were no simple cultivators. At the top of their respective strengths and professions, these were Gods. False gods they may be, they knew how it felt to be in the presence of a Half God, and the young man standing before them was most certainly a Half God.

"Hey, hey." The Saber God sat upright, no longer relaxed. "We weren’t told about this. What is going on?"

"You can’t be so stupid as to not realize what is happening," Killshot said with a lightly mocking voice. "He is clearly what you think he is. You might as well say it outright."

Both the Saber God and the Technique God said it at once.

"A Half God."

The words caused the Defense God to do more than sigh a little, and at the same time, they caused Quietspring’s eyes to narrow. A Half God was not something just anyone heard about, but as a high-ranking member of one of the biggest organizations in the Immortal Human Realm, she most certainly understood it.

"Half God?" She couldn’t believe her eyes.

Alex frowned the moment he was referred to as such. The one thing he wanted to hide more than anything had been determined by the group of heroes all at once.

"How did you do it?" the Saber God asked, his eyes glinting with desire. "Tell me. What trick did you use?"

The Defense God acted as if he had no desire to know, but he couldn’t hide the truth clearly visible in his eyes either. Even Killshot was more than curious, but she said nothing at all. The only person who showed no such interest was, surprisingly, the Technique God, who frowned more than anything.

"Hah!" Sunflare laughed out loud at the situation. "Look at you lot, getting excited over a mere Half God. You need to start praying to our god instead. A proper True God."

The Saber God’s eyes moved toward Sunflare, his excitement waning slightly. "Senior," he greeted with a nod that carried the slightest hint of respect, only there because he knew there had to be.

"Do you wish to be a disciple of our god, child?" Sunflare asked.

The Saber God reflexively reached for his golden hair, running his fingers through it. "No, thank you," he said, turning back toward Alex. "So, how exactly are you a Half God? An Immortal being one, even as weak as it is, is unheard of. You must have done something right. Can you tell us what it is that you—"

"Ahem!"

The Sky God’s fake cough froze the Saber God mid-sentence, causing the man to slowly turn toward the god. Only belatedly did he remember that he had nearly crossed the one unspoken rule among the gods.

You did not seek to learn how to become a Half God.

Even if the Sky God was more or less benevolent, breaking this rule would bring him the wrath of all the Half Gods.

It was good that he had been stopped in time.
