Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 3550 Talent

Chapter 3550 Talent

Bladedance froze for a second, her mind failing to comprehend what she had just heard.

"He is what?"

"Resistant to mental attacks," the Sky God said. "In fact, I believe you could say he is practically immune to them. Unless there is a Divine cultivator with potent spiritual attacks, or a Celestial themselves, you can't hurt him mentally."

Bladedance's face slowly turned away from the Sky God as she looked toward Alex.

"What the hell sort of family do you have?" she asked, unable to hide her emotions. "I thought you were the weird one, but it appears the whole family is strange."

Alex gave a wry smile. He didn't know what else he could do.

He turned toward the Sky God with a few questions of his own.

"My father has become an Immortal, right?" Alex asked. "Even though he hasn't reached the cultivation base?"

"He has indeed become an Immortal based solely on his body cultivation," the Sky God answered.

"So... what happens with his Creations?" Alex asked. "Since my father became an Immortal through body cultivation, are there bottlenecks such as Origins, Spirits, and Creations for him too?"

The Sky God shook her head. "You are misunderstanding the state of his immortality," she explained. "He isn't in the Immortal realm. He is simply immortal. This means that he will now live forever so long as he isn't injured, diseased, or killed by an outside cause. He will still have to go through Immortal tribulations every 10 thousand years. As for Creations and such, those are related to his Qi cultivation, so when he catches up to it, he will have to go through them."

Alex finally understood his father's situation.

"In that case, it is theoretically possible for my father to have Celestial realm body cultivation while still not breaking through to the Immortal realm, right?"

The Sky God nodded. "I would say that is impossible, but the truth is that I can't deny there is certainly a possibility there."

Alex grinned. "I hope my father does it then."

Bladedance watched the two converse with a stunned look on her face the entire time. "Is his mother the normal one in the family, or is she a freak as well?"

The Sky God turned toward her. "Helen's body constitution is nothing worth mentioning, but she has an incredible degree of talent within her," the Sky God explained. She paused for a moment before letting out a deep breath. "We tested her talent against our Talent Testing Tablet, and she scored 93."

Bladedance couldn't even say anything at that point.

Alex couldn't help but become curious. He turned toward Bladedance. "Is that 93 out of 100? I'm assuming that means she's quite talented?"

The only other times Alex had ever been graded for talent were by the 'game' system that Yang Renye had created, which gave him the talent grade of God. His mother had received the same grade.

The other time was in the Blue Silk Sect, where he had received the highest grade they had. However, he had noticed at that time that their artifact hadn't been able to measure the entirety of his talent.

This was now the third time he had heard of something similar, so he was quite curious to test it himself.

However, since numbers were involved, he wasn't quite sure how it worked.

"To give you a general idea, the average cultivator has a talent of around 55, although that may be somewhat biased statistics based on

who we manage to test. The real answer might be closer to 40, or maybe even less," the Sky God explained. "My soldiers have to have a talent above 60 to join my army."

Alex nodded slowly, taking in the numbers.

"In other worlds, this talent might be graded as Divine grade. At 85, it is equivalent to Celestial grade. I myself only had a talent of 82. My master spoke of having a talent of 87."

"There have been a few other talented individuals such as the Storm God and the Fire Gods whose records exist with us. In their youths, they too scored no more than 85 at most."

"Your father managed to get only 23, while your aunt received 72. Ronron surprised us with a 89, one of the highest recorded results in our tests until now. And yet, right after her, your mother scored 93. Two more points, and she would have been considered someone with God-grade talent."

Alex couldn't help but smile a little upon hearing all of that. He had known that the talent he held was something he inherited from his mother, but hearing it spoken out loud made him rather happy.

"You didn't speak about my cousin, Your Majesty. Did she not test her talent?" Alex asked.

"Hannah got a full 100 on her test, but upon further reflection, we realized that she wasn't that talented. It was just that the tablet couldn't function properly when it examined someone with the Nine Revolutions Celestial Body. It was likely because she held absolutely no bottleneck that the tablet failed to test her properly."

"Oh," Alex said.

"Based on what I have seen of her, her talent shouldn't be more than

60. If she had the mindset to learn anything else, she could likely achieve it. But as she is right now, she is only interested in learning how to fight."

"I see," Alex said as he nodded. He had learned what he wanted to

about his parents.

His mother was doing perfectly fine and was even considered one of

the most talented people in the world. As for his father, his body cultivation was easily one of the highest anyone had likely reached. And now that he was here, he could help them make full use of it. "You know," Bladedance said as she turned toward Alex, "I am a little curious now that I think about it."

Alex's thoughts faded as he turned to her. "Curious about what, Master?" he asked.

"Your talent," Bladedance said. "Don't you want to get it tested as

well?"
