Chapter 3341 Storing Away Islands

Chapter 3341 Storing Away Islands

Once the spatial pocket was ready, Alex needed to send the island into it, along with the atmosphere atop it. That was quite simple, however, as all he needed to do was use his Teleportation dao on the entire island and it would be done in a single moment.

Grabbing the entire island at once wasn’t such an easy task, but it was nowhere near as difficult as trying to separate the space from the True Space.

After a brief period of difficulty, the entire island vanished into the egg-sized spatial pocket.

As soon as the island was inside the spatial pocket, Alex felt a sense of weight come about it. The Spatial pocket itself felt light as a feather, but at the same time, it felt impossible to move around as well.

It was a strange sensation that Alex hadn’t felt from anything else before, as he hadn’t had the opportunity to interact with spatial pockets in such a direct manner.

Pulling the spatial pocket into his Soul Space was perhaps the simplest thing Alex had done yet. It felt no different from swallowing a slightly big piece of food that stuck around in the throat for a small moment before going down.

Once inside his Soul Space, Alex freely brought the tiny ball of space toward where the Demon Realm was located.

Objects with space inside them acted very weirdly when placed inside objects with space in them. Instead of taking up a normal amount of space, they instead reduced the overall space available in the outer object.

If there were somehow an object with space equal to Alex’s Soul Space and he were to take it into his Soul Space, the result would be that his Soul Space would decrease to almost nothing.

In the same way, placing the spatial pocket inside had reduced his overall Soul Space as well. But of course, because of how massive it was, its diameter had thinned by perhaps a few centimeters at best, hardly something that would bother Alex at the moment.

Alex let the spatial pocket float next to the Demon Realm for now. He was still some ways away from learning more of the Dao of Spatial Release, and until he was done fully learning it, he wouldn’t feel comfortable trying to merge the two.

“I can form a spatial pocket around an island in about 2 days,” Alex thought. “With 80 or so islands overall to go through, it should take me no more than 160 days in total. 200 if some are particularly difficult to deal with. If I take a week to rest, it should take about 90 weeks in total to complete it.”

He smiled. “That’s well within the 2 years I still have left in here.”

The 2-year timeline was technically an arbitrary one that he had set for himself, but it had to do with how much time he hopefully had before he made his way to the Sky God’s Palace.

Bai Jingshen had said that it would take around 30 years for those humans that left this realm to reach one of the human Immortal realms. It was unclear how long the Storm God would take to hear about him once they reached him, so that was all the time he had.

Considering 20 years had nearly passed, he would have 10 more years to make his way from here to the Sacred Lotus Realm and then to the Sky God’s Palace. He needed those years as a failsafe just in case those humans found a way to reach their destination faster.

Hence, Alex would have to leave within the next two years.

With that planned, Alex went back to the mountain where he sat next to the Sun Fire, learning it to make it his own while cultivating at the same time. Once done, he moved back to creating another spatial pocket for another island.

That took a little less than 2 days, as Alex had gotten better at

handling it all. He placed the island back into his Soul Space and moved back to the Sun Fire.

As he learned the fire, he was getting better and better at emulating it. His flames were becoming hotter now, carrying within them Yang Heat on top of just regular heat.

If he kept going, it wouldn’t take more than a few years to fully learn it. While he found it impossible to believe that he would be done by the time he had to leave Sun’s Talon, he could always continue learning from it while the flame was in his Soul Space.

It wouldn’t be the same as feeling the heat and the burns with his entire body and spiritual sense, but he could still continue. It might push the completion date by a few more years, but Alex was ready to make that compromise to not get caught off guard by the Storm God when he left this realm.

As such, he worked diligently to get as many islands as he could into his Soul Space. The islands with life, mostly the poison islands, turned out to be slightly more difficult than he had hoped. Each time he placed them into his Soul Space, he felt a slight drop in his overall

spiritual strength.

Thankfully, his spiritual strength was so high from the start that even with all the new burdens, it didn’t fall more than a single realm.

What was previously around Divine Creation 4th realm in terms of spiritual strength was now at the Divine Creation 3rd realm. Such a drop couldn’t be recovered so easily in the Immortal realm. Alex would have to continuously break through multiple realms in a row in order to improve it back to that level.

Every journey started with a first step, however, and Alex was finally ready to take that step to improving his spiritual strength, among

many other strengths.

After nearly 2 decades of continuous cultivation, and perhaps a little help from his upgraded body, Alex finally managed to break through

to the Immortal Transcendent 2nd realm.
