Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 3105 Roar

Chapter 3105 Roar

A long time ago, when Alex was just starting to learn about Sword Intent and Sword Qi, his trainer at the time, Du Yuhan, had given him a simple task to improve his chances of learning them.

Stick to a single sword.

Sword Intent, according to him, differed from sword to sword,

making it difficult to transfer what one learned through one sword to another.

Alex had long since blown past that point in his journey as a

swordsman, and at this point, he could use his Sword Intent with almost anything resembling a sword. However, the words Du Yuhan had said back then still stirred awake in him now that he was trying to understand his own Sword Intent.

His Sword Intent had an individuality to him, but at the same time, it had an individuality to the ‘sword’ he used as well. He could now instinctively use his Sword Intent with any sword, so what he wanted to do now was learn how that worked.

To start with, Alex used his flat hand as his sword. It wasn’t so easy to imagine his hand as a sword, so forming Sword Intent around it became quite difficult, but with his level of spiritual energy, there was no doubt he would be successful.

After destroying the two attacks, he turned toward the other two incoming attackers and defended against them as well. He destroyed both of their attacks but did nothing else, as any offensive action from him would be too much for the others to handle.

He wanted the battle to last a little longer so he could both train his Sword Intent and learn from it.

The world shrunk around Pearl, and he stabbed forward, his spear crossing a long distance in a single stab, striking the ice-clad wings of

the bird before him. Icicles formed around the bird that shot toward Pearl almost instantly, which he quickly struck aside and dodged.

Water bubbled out of the ground next to the bird and immediately spread out in a sphere, smashing through everything in its path. Pearl teleported away from the water, waiting until it expanded to a point where his attacks could destroy it.

The moment he could, he stabbed through the tidal attack and appeared on the other side. The water attacks contained a chilling force that he had to constantly fight off. His Qi was dropping quite drastically, and now he had less than half of it left.

The female bird surely was no better, but it was likely that he would still lose if this kept going. His chances of victory were rather slim.

His left hand shot out, metal energy forming threads out of his fingers that went for the bird. His attempt at trapping the woman was thwarted when she easily destroyed the strings, but that didn’t stop Pearl.

Pearl poured energy into his spear and slammed it before him, using the Heavenly Spear Volley technique. While spears rained down from above, he teleported next to her, ready to use another attack.

The woman seemed to be ready for him, ignoring the volley and turning her attention to him. Her wings protected her, but her sharp talons sought Pearl’s heart.

Pearl had hoped to catch her off guard, but he had expected her to react. At the last moment, he opened his mouth and roared.

He had been hoping to hide his bloodline skills for as long as he could, but sadly, he had to let one out.

White Tiger’s Roar was a spiritual attack that shook the woman to her very core, making her mind collapse, if for only a moment. That moment was all Pearl needed.

He poured everything he had into this single attack and struck out with a Heaven’s Revolving Spear Strike. His destructive energy met

the bird’s frozen wings and shattered through them, reaching her chest and blasting into it.

The moment his attack reached her was the moment she regained her consciousness, awakened by the burning pain in her body.

Pearl didn’t stop. Instantly, he pulled his spear back, teleported to the other side, and stabbed at her again. His first attack wasn’t enough to kill her, so he would do it again.

This time, however, the woman blocked it at the last moment. The confrontation led to an explosion that shot Pearl back into a tree far away. He landed on the tree and was ready to return to the fight, but to his surprise, the bird flew away immediately.

Pearl slowly landed back down on the ground, watching the bird turn back into a woman and disappear in the distance. He took a deep breath, all his power slowly fading away from him.

He couldn’t help but be surprised that he had won this fight. His attempt had been to reach a tie, but the woman wasn’t as intent on

fighting as he was.

Three had come to this battle for an easy kill, only to have one of their own die.

Pearl turned toward the first dead bird and then wondered what had

happened to the second one. To his surprise, the second one was dead as well. His eyes narrowed with a thought, and he quickly walked up to the female bird that had died while the other fight went

on.

He felt her body and realized that while her body had died, her soul

had managed to escape. He couldn’t find her soul or her Soul Space in her body. A Soul Space moved with the soul if the body was dead,

after all.

While that was true of the female bird, the male bird was fully dead, so his Soul Space was left behind right there.

Pearl tore through the corpse’s Soul Space and brought out various

items from within, only to be disappointed by the lack of anything of quality.

After a thought, he put everything into his Soul Space, including the two corpses. His brother could make use of everything from their feathers to their beast cores.

Once he placed everything away, he looked in a direction where he

could sense some intense fighting and decided to avoid that. For now, it would be better to find a safe spot and cultivate.
