The transformation was instantaneous.
The star energy surrounding Caelus and Sylvia became so dense that the entire chamber trembled.
Both of them then rose into the air.
The Star King Talent and Star Queen Talent activated simultaneously, causing enormous stellar manifestations to appear behind them. Golden light radiated from Caelus while silver light surrounded Sylvia.
The pressure alone forced the Hollow General, his subordinates, and the Heavenly Faction’s Celestial Gooses to struggle for breath.
The Celestial Goose leader’s expression turned ugly.
"Use the Heavenly Seal! Capture them! Take them to the Corpse Realm and have them brainwashed!"
Dunstan finally lost his patience.
"Forget them. Kill those damn gooses and capture the two of them!"
The factions immediately turned against one another while simultaneously attacking Caelus and Sylvia.
Caelus simply watched them with a strange expression.
The strongest people present were only around Level 5 Origin Lord.
They genuinely did not seem to understand the difference between themselves and the two people standing before them.
The Hollow General’s subordinates attacked first.
Dark shadows spread across the ground, transforming into dozens of Darkspawns. Some launched themselves through the air while others manipulated their shadows into spears and blades, attempting to surround Caelus from every direction.
Caelus did even bother moving, he activated Origin Lock.
A single slash passed through the battlefield.
It did not cut flesh.
It cut the concept connecting the Darkspawns to their abilities.
Every skill-based attacks collapsed simultaneously.
The Darkspawns suddenly lost the powers they were relying on. Their shadow spears dissolved into nothing. Their enhanced strength vanished. They stumbled forward, completely confused by what had just happened.
Sylvia laughed softly.
"That’s rather unfair."
"They should have chosen better opponents."
In the end, Hollow General himself entered the battle.
Dunstan’s horns grew larger as his Hollow energy erupted from his body. The ground beneath him cracked as he launched himself directly toward Caelus.
His claws tore through the air.
Caelus caught his wrist.
Dunstan’s expression changed.
He attempted to release Hollow energy through his arm, but Caelus’s Origin authority immediately severed the connection.
CRASH!
Caelus twisted his arm and sent Dunstan crashing into the ground.
Dunstan attempted to regenerate. But Caelus cut that off too.
Dunstan finally realized that he was facing something completely beyond his comprehension.
THUD.
Caelus finished him with a single strike.
Sylvia enthusiastically skipped towards Dunstan and used her Death Summon ability on him.
Within seconds, Dunstan stood up as a shadow and kneeled before Sylvia. He had the same level as he had before, the only difference was that he couldn’t betray her and will be loyal to her only.
Meanwhile, the Celestial Goose leader activated his Divine skill seeing the hollow faction falling.
[Heavenly Edict of the Celestial Goose God (Divine, 8-Star)]
The goose raised his wing and proclaimed an edict.
"All usage of skills are forbidden for the enemy of the court!"
A celestial law spread through the chamber.
Caelus’s hands became surrounded by heavenly restraints. The surrounding space began enforcing the command.
The goose smiled triumphantly.
"This is the authority of the Heavenly Court. Even the world itself must obey!"
Caelus looked at his restrained hands.
Then he smiled.
"If you can enforce a law..."
His Origin power gathered around his fingers.
"...then I can cut it down."
CRACK.
A thin slash passed through the invisible law.
The Heavenly Edict split apart.
The goose’s eyes widened.
"How is that possible?! How can you still move?!"
Caelus walked through the shattered law.
"You enforce concepts."
He send out another slash.
"And I just so happened to be able to cut concepts."
The goose attempted another edict, commanding the surrounding space to suppress Caelus.
Caelus cut that too.
He commanded the ground to imprison Sylvia.
Sylvia simply stepped forward as Caelus severed the command.
The Celestial Goose desperately attempted to stack multiple laws together. He declared that the chamber belonged to Heaven. He proclaimed that hostile skills were forbidden. He commanded that Caelus and Sylvia must kneel before the Court.
Every single law was severed before it could take effect.
The Celestial Goose leader’s confidence completely disappeared.
The battle then became a one-sided massacre.
Caelus moved through the battlefield while severing the connections between the enemies and their abilities. The Celestial Gooses collapsed without their divine skill not working properly.
Sylvia on the other hand, was making an army of Origin Lords while Caelus did all the heavy lifting.
The Heavenly Faction’s combatants were eliminated as well.
Only their leader remained alive.
Caelus grabbed the Celestial Goose by the neck and lifted him from the ground.
"Tell me about your connection to the War of the Enders."
The goose immediately began shaking his head.
"I don’t know! I don’t know anything! I’m only a servant of the Heavenly Faction!"
"Then how did your faction know this Hidden Ruin would appear?"
"I don’t know!"
The goose desperately insisted that he was simply ordered to come here.
Caelus remembered Adam’s warning. The Heavenly Faction had arrived almost immediately after the ruin manifested, exactly as though they had been waiting for it.
There was no way that was a coincidence.
Sylvia stepped beside Caelus with a pleasant smile.
She casually broke one of the goose’s fingers.
CRACK.
The goose screamed.
Sylvia maintained the same sweet expression.
"If you don’t answer properly, I’ll break another one."
The goose desperately insisted that he genuinely knew nothing. He was given direct orders from higher-ranking members of the Heavenly Faction and told to immediately enter the Hidden Ruin once it manifested. He did not know who discovered it, how they detected it, or why the inheritance was considered so important.
"Please! I really don’t know anything! Please don’t kill me!"
Caelus studied him for a moment.
The goose had no useful information left to give.
THUD.
Caelus killed him.
The chamber finally became silent.
Caelus looked toward Sylvia.
"It looks like we’re going to have to pay the Heavenly Faction’s planet a visit."
