Chapter 3003: Ultimate Blasphemy

  • Next Chapter

Is this blasphemy? No wonder it was so universally despised.

Of course, the only thing more blasphemous than blasphemy was to blaspheme blasphemy itself.

It sounded a bit like a tongue twister, but it was a perfect description of how Fu Qian felt in that moment.

His earlier words naturally hadn't been a bluff to scare the Blasphemy Monarch. Fu Qian's current mental state could be plainly summed up in two key points—

First, he was suffering from the corruption of blasphemy. Second, the source of this blasphemy was himself.

Yes, just like how Master Yuhun had once treated Professor Fu as a lingering obsession and tried to refine him.

Right now, from the perspective of the inner demon, the Blasphemy Monarch was nothing more than a lump of filth in his mental world, stirring up a few stray thoughts.

This was also why Fu Qian could identify the newcomer so accurately and efficiently.

It perfectly explained why Master Yuhun's growth rate had been so astonishingly high, and how he had eventually swelled to such a massive scale.

The feeling was simply far too wonderful.

And without a doubt, this behavior was also a form of ultimate corruption.

From the Blasphemy Monarch's standpoint, he had probably never suffered such an offense before. A blasphemer being blasphemed in return—it was the ultimate insult to a veteran of his caliber.

"You truly have no idea what you're doing!"

So much so that in the face of Professor Fu's patient explanation, He merely sighed, as if to say, "This guy is a lost cause."

To be fair, there was nothing wrong with this reaction. Who was the Blasphemy Monarch? Even someone as powerful as the Mother of Gospel avoided His projection like stepping in dog shit.

Since his debut, he had probably never been favored like this. It was completely normal for him to feel unaccustomed to it.

"Not surprising. Even among the so-called higher entities, how many truly know what they are doing?"

Faced with the Blasphemy Monarch's statement, Fu Qian couldn't help but sigh in agreement.

Not only did he not deny the accusation, but as he thought back on his research findings from the past few days, he deeply agreed.

"Take you, for example."

He even manually manipulated that head to give a nod.

...

"What did you do—"

His final gesture somewhat ruined the atmosphere. What should have been a divine-level war of words suddenly took on the air of a circus act.

But even so, the effect was still astonishing.

Faced with Professor Fu's hint, the demigod puppet fell silent for another moment before suddenly letting out a cry of disbelief.

Given His Excellency Blasphemy's status, the emotion was undoubtedly quite intense.

It was just that his vocabulary was truly lacking, still entirely stuck on "what Professor Fu had done."

"You feel it? Good... But your phrasing is still a bit off. Right now, you should be asking what we did."

Professor Fu sneered, perfectly playing the part of a villain as he looked at the lamb that had stumbled into his trap, correcting its phrasing.

An idealist had to be truly idealistic; everything was nothing but stray thoughts...

Neither the wind moves nor the banner moves; it is merely this master's mind that moves...

They were all loyal subjects; there were no traitors...

"Impossible."

The Blasphemy Monarch, however, refused to accept the fact that he was actually a loyal subject. With a low roar, the demigod puppet's wall-like body sprang into motion with a deafening boom.

His movements were astonishingly agile. However, he didn't attack Fu Qian, who was right in front of him. Instead, he took a single step and appeared right before the still-seated Chaumont.

"Stop."

The latter's reaction was extremely fast. Chaumont, who had been completely still this entire time, instantly demonstrated what it meant to remain calm in the face of danger.

As he spat out the command, a strange light flashed through his eyes, and his entire aura sharpened—Pfft!

Unfortunately, in a split second, that light was violently extinguished.

The command had absolutely no effect. A giant palm, almost the exact size of a human head, slammed down on Chaumont's skull, flattening it before their very eyes.

...

This was exactly why being a leader was dangerous, wasn't it?

Even a mindless tool might just slap you across the face one day.

In a flash of lightning and stone spark, the demigod puppet had committed the ultimate sin of insubordination.

Fu Qian clicked his tongue in admiration at the choice of target, truly grasping the necessity of humanitarian care. Of course, this didn't mean such resistance would actually be useful.

It was true that Excellency Chaumont's head had been flattened. The key issue, however, was that no matter the nature of the ambush, a Tier 2 transcendent's head normally shouldn't have been squashed so easily.

Thud—

Even after falling to the ground, he didn't mount any sort of counterattack.

Under the bombardment of that giant palm, Old Man Chaumont's head was completely deformed, and the devastation even rippled all the way down below his neck.

In the blink of an eye, the collapsed body had actually turned into a mangled lump of flesh and blood.

And Chaumont's colleague, Old Man Stoss, merely glanced over out of instinct at the commotion, making no move whatsoever to seek justice for him.

"I have to say, the effect of wearing this thing is actually pretty good."

Naturally, there was even less of a reason for Fu Qian to make a move. In that moment, facing the demigod puppet's strike, his eyes were drawn instead to the clothes the entity was wearing.

As mentioned earlier, Old Man Chaumont had quite the elegant taste, actually using the puppet as a mannequin to drape over a Skin flayed from some unknown creature.

Paired with the demigod puppet's domineering strike, one had to admit the visual effect was spectacular. Who said men couldn't wear fur?

"Do you like the theme park I prepared for you? Don't worry, you won't have to worry about disturbing the neighbors here," Fu Qian said.

But that was just a minor interlude. Faced with the other party's visible confusion, Fu Qian quickly returned to the main topic, making a gesture to indicate that they could continue.

...

Yes, a theme park, not reality.

The flattened Chaumont wasn't the real Chaumont, and this wasn't the real Drifting Street either.

Aside from extreme idealism, Master Yuhun's signature trick was an isolation technique that turned everything into a temporary folder.

First with the Akons and later at the Academy, Fu Qian had experienced it plenty of times.

Now that he had switched to the inner demon's perspective, how could he not test out this signature move?

In truth, ever since he descended from the Tower, Fu Qian had been eagerly awaiting his next victim.

He could only say that sometimes, destiny was truly wondrous. To think that the very next entity to appear would be His Excellency the Blasphemy Monarch—it almost felt like a fated, mutual attraction.

In short, at this very moment, it wasn't just that Chaumont and the others couldn't see this conversation; they had long since been isolated on the outside.

This was also why, without a sound, Classmate Su Gao was no longer present.

Yes, the effects of Echo were still a bit too rebellious. To avoid destabilizing this temporary folder, Fu Qian hadn't forced her manifestation.

Furthermore, since this was his first time operating it, he still wasn't quite proficient in all its aspects.

Whether it was Chaumont or Stoss, they were nothing more than specious shells. He was still far from being able to replicate their consciousness and abilities.

But it was enough. He was confident that His Excellency the Blasphemy Monarch had already felt his sincerity.

"You're actually planning to keep me here?"

He hadn't listened to Fu Qian's suggestion to attack Old Man Stoss next.

In that moment, the demigod puppet slowly turned around, his tone filled with absolute disbelief.
