Chapter 1109:- End of Night Rider Sect
Chapter 1109: Chapter 1109:- End of Night Rider Sect
"I do not see how killing them would benefit us. It would be better to leave them alive like this."
"I want them to suffer, and I want the rest of the world to see what happens when someone chooses to mess with the Dragon Monarch and his family." From the side, Boris and Malakor Harrington both nodded with pleased expressions. They liked the way Aditya was handling this.
"Aditya, what will you do with the Night Rider Sect?" Freya asked from the side.
Aditya first looked at Freya before his gaze moved toward Rin. She had been unable to control herself after seeing what he had done to Victor and Lin. Even now, her face was slightly pale. Aditya understood that what happened today had been difficult for everyone to watch, but he also knew that some things could not be avoided.
"Without any Elders or a Sect Leader, the rest of the Night Rider Sect is nothing more than a piece of meat waiting to be devoured. And the surviving students will not be able to run the sect by themselves."
A cultivation sect needed at least one 7th-order powerhouse to protect its territory, control its cities, and keep other forces from attacking it. However, within less than ten minutes, the Night Rider Sect had lost every single one of its 7th-order powerhouses. Its Sect Leader had been crippled, its Elders had been defeated, and no one strong enough remained to hold the entire system together.
"This is the end of the Night Rider Sect." The nearby students who were helping the injured disciples heard Aditya’s words.
Some had already regained consciousness after breathing in the antidote gas, while others remained weak but awake. Most of them felt bitter after hearing what Aditya said. The Night Rider Sect had been their home for years. It was the place where they had trained, lived, made friends, and dreamed about becoming stronger.
However, there was nothing they could do.
Aditya had already shown them mercy by giving them the antidote and allowing them to survive. Even if they wanted to protect the Night Rider Sect, they no longer had the strength to do so. Without a 7th-order powerhouse to back them and protect their territory, it was only a matter of time before another powerful force came and took everything away from them.
Aditya turned toward Luo Han. "Take everything from the treasury. Leave nothing behind."
While the other storage rings of the Elders were being collected, Lou Han did not forget about Victor’s storage ring either. He removed it from one of Victor’s severed fingers.
As the Sect Leader of the Night Rider Sect, Victor was bound to have many valuable things inside his storage ring.
Aditya couldn’t wait to check what was inside his storage ring when he was alone later.
"Understood!" Luo Han replied respectfully.
After checking the storage ring belonging to the Grand Elder, Luo Han quickly found the keys to the sect treasury. The Grand Elder and Victor were the only two people who had direct access to the treasury, so the keys were naturally kept close to them.
"In that case, we should not forget about their library!" Athena said from the side.
Unlike the others, Athena seemed far more interested in the library than the treasury. As the Goddess of Wisdom, books held a special place in her heart. The Night Rider Sect had existed for countless years and had collected many cultivation techniques, historical records, alchemy books, rune manuals, ancient maps, and other valuable knowledge.
For Athena, this was not simply a library. It was a treasure greater than most spirit stones or weapons.
This was also the first time in her life that she had the opportunity to empty an entire library.
Her face looked excited. She was giggling to herself while looking in the direction of the library. Seeing Athena like this, Aditya could not help but smile. It felt nice to see her so happy and excited over something so simple. He hoped that he would be able to see this side of her more often in the future.
"Sure. Go ahead." Aditya was going to empty the entire library even if Athena had not said anything. He could just ask for whatever book he wanted to read. Between them, it did not matter who took the books.
Most times, whatever he took from defeated enemies’ libraries ended up in his personal library. Though he also asked a few servants to copy some books and put them in the public library or some libraries.
"Ad... Aditya."
The weak and broken voice suddenly reached Aditya’s ears. The moment he heard it, his eyes widened in shock. It was a voice that he knew very well, but after everything that had happened to Wahid, Aditya never expected to hear him speak again.
Aditya instantly turned around and looked toward the man sitting on the wooden chair.
"Uncle?"
Wahid’s two wives also froze for a moment before covering their mouths in surprise. Their eyes quickly became red as tears began gathering in them. They looked at Wahid as though they could not believe what they had just heard.
For so long, they had believed that their husband would remain in a comatose and vegetative state forever. They thought he would never be able to speak again.
They thought he would never be able to react to them.
He would never be able to return to the person he once was.
But now, Wahid had spoken Aditya’s name.
However, the day before, Aditya had suddenly given Wahid’s two wives a specific time and asked them to bring Uncle Wahid to a certain mountain peak. They had been shocked when they learned which mountain peak Aditya wanted them to go to. After all, it was inside the territory of the Night Rider Sect. Aditya was asking them to come to a place where they normally would never dare to enter, so easily, for obvious reasons.
Even so, they had obeyed Aditya’s words and brought Wahid there because they trusted him. They also knew that Boris and Malakor Harrington would be present, which made them feel slightly more at ease. If Aditya had made such a decision, then there had to be a reason behind it.
In the end, coming here had turned out to be the best decision they could have made. The stimulation Wahid received after seeing Victor reduced to such a miserable condition had been enough to make him show a small smile. For someone who had remained in a vegetative state for so long, even such a tiny reaction was already something that gave them hope.
And now, Wahid was even calling Aditya’s name. For his two wives, who had spent so long believing that he would never wake up or speak again, there was nothing that could have made them happier than this moment.
"Thank... you." Wahid’s voice was slow and weak. Every word seemed difficult for him to say, as though he had to use all of his remaining strength just to move his lips. However, Aditya understood him clearly. Those two simple words carried more meaning than Wahid could possibly explain in his current condition.
Aditya immediately walked toward Wahid and lowered himself onto one knee in front of him. Their eyes were now at the same level. He gently held Wahid’s palms in both of his hands, careful not to hurt him.
"Uncle, if you had not saved me, then I would not be alive right now."
Wahid had taken Victor’s attack for him. The attack had been aimed at Aditya, but Wahid had stepped forward without hesitation and protected him. Aditya knew deep in his heart that he could never truly repay his uncle for what he had done.
Seeing this uncle in this state deeply pained him. This man lost everything because of him. Even now, after taking revenge on the person who did it, Aditya still blamed himself. Guilt was eating him from the inside.
"Julia can heal you, Uncle."
Aditya spoke with confidence while still holding Wahid’s hands. "My wife is the Goddess of Alchemy. She has the means to heal even the injuries of a crippled cultivator and allow them to cultivate again." As he spoke, another idea suddenly appeared in Aditya’s mind. It was something that might work far better than simply healing Wahid’s injuries.
"Uncle, I have another idea."
"I do not know if this idea will work exactly as I hope, but I am sure that your injuries will be healed. There is also a very strong chance that you might regain your ability to cultivate again. You may even be able to regain your complete cultivation."
Even Victor, who could only lie there and watch helplessly, was left in complete shock and disbelief after hearing Aditya’s words.
Wahid had been reduced to a vegetative state and had lost his ability to cultivate, yet Aditya was speaking as though there was still a chance for him to return to how he once was.
Wahid looked at Aditya for a few moments. He did not doubt his nephew. Even though speaking was still difficult for him, his eyes showed complete trust. Then, with a slow but clear voice, Wahid gave his answer.
"Do... it."
Under the shocked gaze of everyone, Aditya gathered 500 drops of his divine Dragon blood from his storage ring. If 25 drops of Divine blood could certainly repair Wahid’s injuries, then what about 500 drops? Aditya wanted to check.
