--- Chapter 527 ---

Looking at Mu Xi, who sulks in the corner, Han Yuan smiled. He reached out to pat her head gently. "Alright. I'll reward you if you stay home and behave nicely."

"Really?!" Mu Xi's eyes instantly lit up with rampant joy.

"Mhm. So be a good girl, okay?" Han Yuan offered a faint, warm smile.

"Alright!" Mu Xi beamed back happily, her previous indignation vanishing into thin air.

'So easy?!'

'Wait, who is the older and younger in this relationship exactly?!'

Everyone present stared at her in astonishment. They had never expected the ferocious girl who had just smashed through an ice barrier to become as submissive as a kitten with a single line of coaxing from Han Yuan.

'This girl... isn't she way too smitten?' Ouyang Zixin stared at her bestie as if looking at an entirely different person. And she wasn't alone—everyone else was thinking the same thing.

Xing Lan let out another helpless sigh. 'At least Xiao Yuan is capable of reining this girl in... though I'm not so sure if that's entirely a good thing for her.'

Meanwhile, Xu Xiaoyu gave Han Yuan a particularly deep look. He agreed with his request earlier for a reason.

If this silver-haired boy could so effortlessly command a disaster like Mu Xi, then he had to be utterly terrifying as well. There was no way a violent girl like her would obey someone just because he had a handsome face!

Yet, far from bringing him clarity, this realization made Xu Xiaoyu fear for his life even more.

After all, Mu Xi was already a damn monster who crushed him without even summoning her Martial Soul. By that logic... this silver-haired boy could probably erase him from existence with a mere glare!

Xu Xiaoyu knew he was being overly dramatic, but his survival instincts were literally screaming at him that he was right.

"Zixin! Let me take you shopping! It's been way too long since we had time to hang out!" Mu Xi suddenly declared, grabbing her best friend's arm and pulling her along.

"Eh?!" Ouyang Zixin didn't even realize what was happening until she was already being dragged across the street by the overly energetic crimson-haired girl.

"She ran off so fast..." Ye Yingluo shook her head, thoroughly amused and slightly speechless at her former student.

Turning toward Xu Xiaoyu, Ye Yingluo smoothed her skirt. "Well, it seems I should be heading back as well."

"Xiaoyu, I'm granting you sick leave for the rest of the week. Is that alright?"

"Mhm, thank you, Teacher Luo," Xu Xiaoyu replied with a polite nod, his usual haughty young master pose noticeably absent. It seemed that single beating had thoroughly knocked his arrogance out of him.

"Come back to class once you feel fully recovered. Han Yuan, Senior, I shall take my leave."

After giving Han Yuan another glance, Ye Yingluo bowed respectfully toward Xing Lan before turning around to return to her classroom.

"So... will you be leading us to your home now, Senior Xu?" Han Yuan asked, tilting his head with a polite expression.

Xu Xiaoyu looked at him nervously before nodding quickly. "A-Alright... Let's go."

Han Yuan, Xing Lan, and Xu Xiaoyu departed from the park. However, a solitary figure remained standing behind the shade of the distant trees.

Wu Zhangkong gazed deeply at Han Yuan's gradually retreating figure.

He felt that this silver-haired boy was anything but simple, but he didn't dare probe any deeper. After all, Xing Lan's terrifying warning from earlier was still fresh in his mind.

As Wu Zhangkong retreated toward the teaching building, he recalled Mu Xi's dominant performance in the field. 'That crimson-haired girl isn't just fast... Her spatial awareness and bodily control are terrifying.'

'And that strange Scarlet Lightning... Could it be an Ultimate Attribute?'

'Should I report these findings to the Tang Sect and Shrek Academy?'

After deliberating for a moment, Wu Zhangkong decided to send out a confidential report regardless.

However, he planned to 'heavily' emphasize that both Mu Xi and Han Yuan might have an extraordinarily powerful background to prevent any reckless action.

What Wu Zhangkong didn't know was that every single message leaving his Spirit Guidance Communicator was already intercepted and filtered by Xu Deming, preventing Han Yuan's true identity from ever leaking into external databases.

Furthermore, even if a message managed to bypass that primary barrier, it would be flagged and suppressed by Han Tianyi, who had designated all records regarding Han Yuan as classified top-secret within the Spirit Pagoda system.

And even if someone bypassed all of those layers, they would still find nothing of substance.

Han Tianyi had deliberately falsified and extremely lowballed Han Yuan's registered data, along with Mu Xi's, making them appear completely unremarkable on paper.

From any faction's view, Han Yuan's data showed he was a genius, but not the kind that needed them to act on him immediately.

Which means unless a Title Douluo personally tested Han Yuan and Mu Xi in the flesh, no one on the continent could accurately gauge their true depth.

And above all, there was Xing Lan, a Title Douluo protector who certainly wouldn't stand idly by while a high-level Douluo attempted to pry into her disciple and godson.

The protective web surrounding Han Yuan had so many hidden layers that Wu Zhangkong couldn't even begin to fathom the magnitude of the entity he was attempting to investigate.

'I could have made you disappear from the face of this poor planet... I really could have, Wu Zhangkong,' Han Yuan mused quietly to himself as he walked beside Xu Xiaoyu.

'However, your presence on this board remains far too useful. Eliminating you now would only pave an easier, smoother path for that 'Tang Wulin' variant.'

'So, be good and stay right where you are... and guide the child of the Sea God into comfortable mediocrity.'

'Hiss... why did the temperature just drop?!' Xu Xiaoyu suddenly caught a cold, fleeting glint in Han Yuan's eyes for a fraction of a second, and then immediately shrank back in terror.

After taking a private taxi to the Xu Family estate, Xu Xiaoyu led Han Yuan and Xing Lan through the main entrance of the family compound.

"Young Master, you've returned early today?" An elderly butler of the Xu Family greeted them respectfully as soon as he saw Xu Xiaoyu strolling in, accompanied by two unfamiliar guests.

Xu Xiaoyu nodded hastily. "Mhm, I... I ran into some trouble at school and received assistance from these two... seniors."

"Coincidentally, they came to visit Xiaoyan."

"Is that so?" The butler glanced at them in mild surprise. Yet, noticing the complex, unusually odd expression on Xu Xiaoyu's face, he refrained from asking any further questions.

"Mhm. Where are Father and Mother right now?" Xu Xiaoyu maintained a calm demeanor, desperate to avoid causing any misunderstandings with Han Yuan and Xing Lan.

The butler answered naturally, "Master and Mistress are currently in the side courtyard, guiding Young Miss through her daily cultivation."

Xu Xiaoyu glanced back at Han Yuan and Xing Lan. "I see... In that case, please follow me to the garden."

"Very well." Xing Lan offered a gentle, friendly smile.

She could tell the blue-haired boy was still somewhat frightened of them. Unfortunately, there was little she could do about it now—first impressions had been shattered the moment Mu Xi beat him flying into the bushes.

Without further ado, Xu Xiaoyu led them toward the side courtyard where the private garden was located.

Still, the moment Han Yuan crossed the entry into the garden, a sudden, subtle resonance stirred within his soul—the Gate of Stars inside him pulsed with a gentle, starlight-like vibration.

At the same time, a blue-haired girl sitting near the center of the garden blinked, her eyes widening as she stared into the empty air toward the entrance.

"The stars..."

"The stars are coming to me?!" She exclaimed, her soft voice filled with sudden excitement and wonder.
