The sealed research file remained open on the subterranean terminal display, its final designation burning into Raviah’s mind with unyielding clarity.

The glowing letters of the text, identifying her root’s ultimate potential as a World Seed, seemed to reverberate through the cold air of the laboratory. She had barely begun to digest the monumental weight of those words when the concrete deck beneath her feet violently lurched.

A metallic groan tore through the reinforced ceiling, shuddering along the structural beams. The overhead lights flickered frantically before snapping into a harsh, pulsing crimson hue.

Across the wall monitors, crimson warning dialogues burst into existence, blinding her with rapid streams of real-time telemetry.

[EXTREME ATMOSPHERIC DISTURBANCE DETECTED]

[ELEMENTAL ENERGY CONCENTRATION: CRITICAL]

[NORTHERN MOUNTAIN RANGE: CATASTROPHIC COLLISION]

Raviah pivoted toward the primary surveillance array, her eyes narrowing as the live feeds stabilized. Above the jagged peaks of the northern range, the massive Zerg King had launched another violent assault against the celestial entity.

The two leviathans collided in midair, unleashing a kinetic shockwave that tore through dense cloud cover and rolled across the continent like a tsunami.

Mountains trembled and cracked under the sheer impact of their clash. Lightning erupted across the violet-tinted sky, but these were no standard electrical discharges.

Some bolts burned a terrifying crimson, others blazed in blinding white, while thick tendrils of azure energy coiled between them like furious serpents. The entire planetary atmosphere appeared to be tearing itself apart in a desperate struggle for equilibrium.

A communications channel snapped open, bringing with it the static roar of alarms and panicked voices. "General Drakeheir is requesting immediate evacuation of the northern defense line!" an officer shouted over the line.

Raviah reached down and swept her fingers across the control console. In a seamless movement, her spatial dimension responded to her mental pull, instantly storing her heavy handheld scanners into her dimensional space. With her hands freed, she struck the comms pad.

"Put him through to this station right now," she commanded.

Rhyder’s face materialized on the nearest monitor, framed by smoke and flashing beacons. Behind him, armed personnel scrambled across the command platform while emergency klaxons wailed incessantly.

"Raviah, pull back immediately," Rhyder said, his deep voice cutting through the operational noise. "You need to get away from the northern range right now."

She planted both hands on the edge of the terminal, refusing to budge. "Not until I understand what is happening out there."

His jaw tightened, a flicker of frustration passing over his steel-gray eyes.

"The energy storms are spreading far faster than our predictive models estimated. We are tracking localized gravity fluctuations, plasma lightning strikes, and pressure waves strong enough to collapse our outer fortifications."

"Then evacuate the forward positions," Raviah urged smoothly, her medical calm taking control. "Withdraw every nonessential unit behind the secondary barricades before the wave hits."

"I have already issued the retreat," Rhyder replied as another distant explosion rattled his feed.

He turned his head sharply toward something beyond the camera’s view, his expression darkening as he monitored the external displays.

"The Zerg King is forcing the visitor down toward the mountain peaks. Whatever happens next, nobody approaches that impact zone without my explicit authorization."

"Agreed," she answered without hesitation.

His gaze snapped back to her face on the screen, softening just enough to reveal the raw worry beneath his military composure. "And Raviah?"

She recognized that specific, possessive tone immediately. "Do not do anything reckless, Doctor."

Despite the catastrophic chaos unfolding on the monitors, a faint, fleeting trace of humor touched her lips. "You know that is a rather unreasonable request coming from a man like you, General."

Rhyder let out a low breath, his intense gaze holding hers through the monitor for a long second. "Doctor Solomon."

"General Drakeheir," she countered softly.

Neither spoke another word, the solemn weight of the war hanging between them before the connection severed.

Raviah turned toward the array of research instruments that Elias had hurriedly connected to the facility’s atmospheric sensors. She stepped up to the main console, tapping into the sensory matrix to dissect the ongoing battle.

The celestial visitor’s energy signature was staggeringly complex, radiating a brilliance that overwhelmed standard sensors.

Its crystalline internal pathways resembled the structure of a Zerg Core, yet its elemental energy circulated through its body in multiple overlapping, perfectly harmonious loops.

The Zerg King possessed a far more brutal design. Its numerous internal cores pulsed independently like jagged hearts, interconnected by a dense web of biological crystalline channels.

Each core produced a distinct energy frequency, allowing the creature to shift its offensive output almost instantly.

Yet the celestial visitor operated on a fundamentally higher order of existence. It did not merely discharge elemental power into the sky.

It actively manipulated the ambient energy of the environment, bending the atmospheric forces to its will.

Raviah watched the digitized energy signatures smash together on the spectral analyzer. Every time the Zerg King’s crimson energy slammed into the visitor’s protective barrier, the surrounding air compressed violently.

The resulting pressure shockwaves rippled through the clouds, forcing atmospheric moisture into hyper-unstable patterns that triggered massive, continent-spanning storms.

Yet the visitor was not merely enduring the assault. It was adapting.

Each time the Zerg King shifted its frequency to break through, the celestial being adjusted its defensive aura in real time to match and neutralize the strike. The evolution was breathtakingly instantaneous.

"They are learning from each other," Raviah murmured, her fingers hovering over the data streams.

Elias stepped up beside her, his face pale as he stared at the terrifying biological readings. "That should be impossible at this scale."

"Why?" Raviah asked, magnifying the overlapping matrix files.

"Because their internal energy architecture is completely contradictory," Elias explained rapidly, pointing at the structural cross-sections. "The Zerg King relies on decentralized cores tethered through a hive network. The visitor’s entire body functions as a single, perfectly integrated living structure."

Raviah leaned closer, her eyes tracing a sudden anomaly in the wave function. "Unless those structures are far more compatible than we assumed."

She expanded the high-resolution frequency readouts across the main screen. For a tiny fraction of a second, the visitor’s defensive field synchronized perfectly with the crimson aura of the Zerg King.

Then, the frequencies snapped apart in a harsh surge of static.

Raviah’s heart lurched in her chest as she realized the truth. "The Zerg King found a tear in its pattern."

High above the northern peaks, the beast contorted its massive body, driving a crystalline blade deep into the celestial visitor’s translucent flank.

The impact generated a blinding, silent burst of light that turned the displays white for several seconds.

When the feed cleared, the celestial being was recoiling sharply. For the first time since its descent through the atmosphere, its pristine energy field shattered into jagged fragments.

A thick, dark, luminescent fluid erupted from the massive wound. The alien substance spilled into the upper atmosphere, floating in slow, shimmering droplets like liquid starlight before planetary gravity caught hold of it.

The glowing rain began its long descent, drifting down toward the forested slopes of the northern mountains.

Raviah stared at the display, her lungs frozen, unable to draw breath as she watched the luminous droplets fall.

The celestial being had been wounded in battle.

And its divine blood was now raining down upon the broken Earth.
