Rape, sexual slavery, pointless torture, wanton destruction of survival resources, and similar acts of cruelty did not make the zombies more dangerous or force the survivors to grow stronger.

They were merely unnecessary acts committed by sentient beings.

As long as Zayne didn’t interfere with the actual trials of the Zombie Apocalypse, the World Will had no reason to oppose him.

This was also why he had deliberately added the final few rules.

He wasn’t protecting humanity from the apocalypse.

He was only preventing humanity from making the apocalypse even more needlessly cruel.

As for the rules regarding contracts, they also wouldn’t affect the world’s adversity. If someone didn’t want to enter a contract, they could simply refuse. But once they voluntarily agreed to one, they would have to abide by it.

Most importantly, Zayne had deliberately preserved murder, theft, plunder, warfare, and competition.

These were all things that could still create conflict and force survivors to struggle.

As long as those things remained, the Zombie Apocalypse would continue to fulfill its purpose.

Thinking of this, Zayne finally relaxed.

"It seems that my judgment was correct."

Jade looked at the platinum-colored system screen before her and nodded.

"You only removed the unnecessary parts while leaving the important ones untouched."

"Exactly."

Zayne smiled. "I can’t make this world peaceful, nor do I intend to."

"All I can do is restore a little Order to the chaos without interfering with the Apocalypse World Update Theme."

After saying that, Zayne looked toward the countless survivors throughout Main World Terra as they entered his perception range.

"Whether they can survive or not will still depend on themselves."

If this world had a world chat group like in the train survival universe, Zayne knew that they’d undoubtedly be talking about the Nine Rules Of Order that he had established.

After all, the two supreme existences that the current survivors of Terra knew about were the World Will and that deranged announcer who was likely a cultist of The One.

Now, they were undoubtedly confused as to why there was a Third One. Not to mention, this third supreme existence who called himself the "Sovereign Of Order" seemed to have imposed order that benefited humanity.

Of course, some had wanted to take advantage of the zombie apocalypse and cause abhorrent and unnecessary crimes for the sake of pleasure and entertainment. Such people didn’t praise him but had hated him for being meddlesome.

If not for the title of "Sovereign Of Order" being so high-standing and the fact that the Nine Rules Of Order covered the entire world, which scared them, those evil people would have already cursed him and expressed their hate.

Unfortunately, they could only rage impotently, only keeping such thoughts to themselves in fear of retaliation from the Sovereign Of Order.

Perceiving those people, Zayne didn’t care as they were like ants whose purpose was to liven up the "apocalypse" of this Zombie Apocalypse World.

The World Will didn’t care about good and evil as long as the Terrans could become perfect beings, so such evil people were even useful to it for being adversaries that served as tools for someone else’s growth.

When Jade’s perception range also observed the entire world, she couldn’t help but frown, "To think some of these mortals overstepped their boundaries."

"It isn’t our obligation nor duty to save them or maintain order, yet after discovering that darling could influence and assist humanity, they’ve started making complaints and wanted you to provide food and safety for them."

Zayne shrugged, "I’ve already expected such things to happen. After all, if you give an inch, they’ll take a mile. It’s merely their greed that got the better of them."

"Just because I’ve shown my stance to be slightly leaning towards the side of humanity, those fools believed that since I have the power to impose such rules and order benefiting humanity, I must also use such power to grant them food and safety since I’m capable of it."

Reading the thoughts of those foolish mortals, Zayne couldn’t help but shake his head in disappointment.

Even their kind, as long as they were strangers, wouldn’t help them for free. After all, they weren’t their parents and didn’t have such unconditional love and support.

Only a few were exceptions who’d be kind enough to take pity and do charity, but such kind people wouldn’t live long in this zombie apocalypse world without adapting to the apocalypse’s cruelty.

Despite being a Human Progenitor, Zayne wasn’t actually that interested in the survival of the human race. Precisely because he’s a Human Progenitor, he knew how disgusting some of these low-ranking humans could be when they’ve become depraved and degenerated.

’From another perspective, The One’s goal and the World Will were right. Only by achieving perfection can these imperfect people become better people and rid themselves of these glaring flaws.’

While having such thoughts, Zayne noticed that Jade’s expression contorted as if she had eaten a bitter gourd.

He chuckled and brushed Jade’s nose with his finger, teasing her, "What’s my little Jade thinking about?"

While Jade enjoyed her darling’s tease, her expression still couldn’t help but remain indignant as she spoke with grievance, "Even if we are this powerful, we clearly aren’t their babysitters and parents and aren’t obligated to save them. Yet, some of them still cursed you for not being benevolent enough."

Zayne shook his head, sighing as he brought Jade into his embrace. "My Jade, you should read their thoughts less. It’s only a few hours since the zombie apocalypse started, so some of them haven’t adapted yet, and their emotions and mental state are still in turmoil."

"Moreover, if it makes you feel better, they aren’t taking advantage of the Nine Rules of Orders I’ve imposed onto this world. They’ve benefited, yes, but I’ve also benefited as well."

"I’ve noticed that the Universal Laws of this world are different from the train survival universe."

"In other words, I can take advantage of this to progress my Order Sovereignty even faster than when I’m in the train survival universe."
