Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4976 Visiting The Twenty-Eighth Wife

Chapter 4976  Visiting The Twenty-Eighth Wife

Davis headed to Aila's newly built mansion.

He had heard Bylai put extra effort into making the mansion more aesthetically pleasing to look at with Aila's standards in mind. He couldn't wait to see how it turned out, but more importantly, he couldn't wait to see Aila.

He hid the excitement in his heart as he approached her mansion before he stood before the gates.

He noticed the formation automatically allowed him entry, not that there was any place in the Davis Family Estate that barred him from entry except the Harem Council Palace, where the beauties convened.

Without announcing, he walked past the gates and entered a long, stretching courtyard.

He continued walking along a curved pathway made of smooth moonstone tiles that glowed faintly with a soft milky light. The path wound gracefully through the garden, crossing small bridges that arched over narrow streams of crystal clear spirit water.

Golden spirit fish swam through the streams, occasionally jumping above the surface before disappearing beneath the ripples again. Around them, clusters of peach blossom trees and gentle willow trees swayed softly in the breeze. Tiny spirit butterflies made of shimmering charm energy fluttered lazily between the flowers.

Davis couldn't help but nod in appreciation while admiring the beauty of the mansion. It was more like a garden resort rather than a luxurious mansion.

It wasn't long before he appeared before the mansion.

It stood quietly surrounded by flowering cherry blossom trees.

Soft wind rustled through the branches of blooming cherry blossom trees that lined the courtyard. Pale pink petals drifted lazily through the air.

Looking further, he saw the palace consisted of several interconnected pavilions arranged around peaceful courtyards. Each building had gently curved rooftops covered in pale rose-colored spirit tiles that glimmered softly under the sunlight.

The edges of the rooftops were decorated with small jade bells that chimed lightly whenever the wind passed by, not to mention the lanterns that glowed softly even in daylight. Their sound was delicate and soothing, and their light was peaceful.

Silk curtains in soft pastel colors swayed gently in the breeze, giving the buildings a graceful, feminine beauty.

Davis's eyes were wide with appreciation when a rabbit came running.

"Husband, husband… you're here~"

Aila ran till the entrance of her mansion before she leapt and flew towards him, causing Davis to spread his arms.

Aila landed in his embrace, and she hugged him with her heart, wrapping her frail and soft arms around his neck tightly as she placed her cheeks over his in a way that suggested she wanted to be cuddled.

"Haha."

Davis chuckled

"You're finally here…"

"Will you forgive me for delaying our life chapter for so many years?"

"What's there to forgive?" Aila swung his hands embarrassingly, "We willingly waited, having so many responsibilities and concerns over my turn, and then I went to the secret realm… yet, you still haven't taken sister Tia yet, making me wait more, although you have made love with sister Yotan…"

"…"

She pouted, causing Davis's expression to turn awkward.

Tia was the twenty-sixth wife, and Yotan was the twenty-seventh wife, so it turned out Aila wanted to wait before it was her turn.

Still, how was he supposed to explain that sleeping with certain women can cause a disaster in fate?

"You have made me wait, but it is all within expectations."

Looking at this troubled expression, Aila giggled.

Davis raised his brows instead, "Didn't you say you wanted to enhance my cultivation with your primal yin and hence waited?"

Caught over these words, Aila extended her tongue out.

"Beh~ That's a failure with how strong you've grown, making me unable to help you in that regard. You don't need me at all~ Mmph~ Come, I'll make you need me more than ever~"

Aila sidestepped as she turned around to grab his arm and place it within her huge bosoms before she dragged him into her home.

Davis's gaze flickered as he found her actions extremely likable. She was being assertive, allowing him to know that it could definitely happen today, filling him with wild thoughts.

The moment he entered her mansion, the aromatic cherry blossom scent became thicker and made one feel peaceful. He couldn't help but extend his soul sense and chanced upon a pool in another pavilion where he saw a pink lotus radiating a calm and peaceful energy. It possessed the duality of wood and yin energy, where it curved towards charm.

The first place Aila took him was to see it.

"So this is the Spring Cherry Lotus…"

"Accurately, it is known as the Serene Spring Cherry Lotus. It makes nearly all lifeforms within its vicinity peaceful. Even savage beasts are known to become tame in its presence, and it's one of the top resources used in the beast-taming world to tame magical beasts. An Exalt Grade Serene Spring Cherry Lotus is even used to tame magical beasts with Grand Ancestral Bloodline!"

Aila explained proudly before grinning cheekily, "But after I bound it, it enhanced my Mutated Silken Cherry Physique to Empyrean Grade and continues to do so passively. Clearly, it is a resource that is a perfect fit for me. I think we don't need to look for a Rosy Cotton Rabbit anymore to make it Emperor-Tier and supply me with its blood essence. This will do~"

"Why not? The more compatible resources you consume, the more powerful your prowess will be."

Davis's lips curled before he raised his hand and grabbed Aila's chin, turning it towards him.

"I want to see how tantalizing you can get."

"…" Aila's cheeks increasingly became colored with a healthy hue.

Davis's heart churned, wanting to leap for a kiss, but he held himself back, wanting to simmer this rabbit on low heat to have the grandest feast.

He let her go and returned his gaze to Serene Spring Cherry Lotus that looked as though it was going to retaliate instinctively if Aila found herself threatened. However, it didn't, making Davis intrigued.

If it could tell the difference instinctively, he guessed it was already starting to show signs of consciousness, which would lead to producing a spirit.

He could totally hasten this process, but didn't think he needed to, since he felt it would be better if Aila became an Exalt first.

Davis opened his mouth, "It turns out there is a Rosy Cotton Rabbit farm in the capital of the Golden Radiance Empire."

"Really!?" Aila shot a look at him, turning shocked.
