Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4801 Golden Radiance Continent

Chapter 4801  Golden Radiance Continent

Evelynn and the others walked out one after another, encompassed by a clear sky.

However, the surroundings were barren and filled with bloodshed and broken weapons.

A lackey hurried forward and respectfully handed over a map, which Evelynn unfurled and examined with a measured gaze. The celestial body before them was no more than thirty percent the size of a Minor Realm. It possessed no core of its own and drifted alone in the void, far removed from the Upper Realms.

As a result, both heaven and earth energy and natural resources were exceedingly scarce, thinly scattered across its vast lands.

To the northwest stretched the Northern Snowlands. To the east stood the Golden Radiance Empire, surrounded by its Allied Kingdoms. From the southeast to the southwest lay the Magical Beast Badlands, while the westernmost reaches were occupied by the Western Greatlands, derisively referred to by the empire as the Western Rebel Forces.

Yet none of this was new to them.

They were already well aware of the true state of this world. The war raging across the Central Continent Battleground was no accident, but a carefully orchestrated cycle devised by the Divine Exalt of the Golden Radiance Empire. Whenever one side teetered on the brink of victory, a calamity would descend, either a devastating magical beast tide or a catastrophic snowstorm sweeping down from the northern lands, forcing the conflict back into stalemate.

Thus, generation after generation, the kingdoms and rebel forces remained locked in endless bloodshed. When the war entered the stage of the climax- which is the Allied Kingdoms losing ground, the Divine Exalt would descend and slaughter the rebel forces, becoming a hero.

And so, this drifting, war-torn celestial body had come to be known as the Golden Radiance Continent.

'Yet… It's nothing but a playground for a mere Level Three Divine Exalt…'

Evelynn couldn't help but sigh.

When some factors came together, even the rules the human race imposed were quite useless. This celestial body was hidden in the void, situated outside the sixteen Upper Realms, a bit away from the fringes of the Forgeheart Peak Upper Realm, which was to the far northeast, and the Beast Autarch Upper Realm that was to the east.

Honestly, with the Golden Radiance Empire having fallen, the Allied Kingdoms won't stay still. They would be embroiled in an internal war, while the Western Rebel Forces might swoop in. Evelynn couldn't care less about the situation here, but to her, it was easy to put an end to this war.

She could poison the Central Battleground or erect a barrier to contain all the forces.

However, she was reluctant to do so because she was an Anarchic Divergent and could be changing the lives of forty billion people. Therefore, what she wanted to do was to do as they planned, install a puppet who would practice the Golden Radiance Divine Exalt Manual and announce them to be its successor.

Regardless, it was not on their list of priorities at the moment.

"Isabella, take out the Empyreans in the forefront."

Isabella walked out with Fairy Thunderblaze by her side. The latter glared at Evelynn but didn't do anything.

After a look, Isabella waved her hand.

Mingzhi, Tanya, Lereza, and Schleya flew out.

"Wah~" Mingzhi flinched, "The entire scenery before me changed. How magical…"

She looked around before asking, "Are we still in the Lower Realms? The energy is so scarce here that I can't tell where we are."

Tanya, Lereza, and Schleya looked quite confused as well.

Evelynn smiled lightly, "We made it to the Upper Realm Space, the Second Layer."

"Awesome!" Mingzhi cheered as she walked over and grabbed Evelynn's hands, "And then, where is Davis? Didn't he come with us?"

"No, but he didn't leave either. If we exit that spatial vortex, we will be able to see him. However, he doesn't want to step into the celestial body because there's a chance that the Supreme One will detect his location right as he destroys the Covenant. Regardless, a few others and I, who are still Immortal Emperors, will be meeting him in a day. If you need to say anything, let me know. Before that, we need to set up-"

Evelynn started explaining the plan Davis and Myria had created for them.

"If you want to change anything after looking at the map and weighing the plan, be my guest- was his word to you."

Evelynn handed her the map and waited for her to speak.

She momentarily gazed at Fairy Thunderblaze, prompting Mingzhi to also take a look at her. Mingzhi didn't know what had happened, but she could tell that there was an air of hostility in the air between them.

A mere sweep of Heart Intent made her eyes go wide, distracting her from continuing to chart the next course of action.

However, she shook her head and continued to think. She understood that there wasn't enough time. An entire family of Divergents moved across a dimension to get to the Second Layer. If that didn't create a severe tremor in the flow of fate, causing incredible divergence, she didn't know what else would.

Because they arrived here, the celestial body's entire fate was going to change. It could be wiped out by Heaven's Warriors just because the world would imagine the Davis Family was hiding among them and needed to be erased forever.

Quickly organizing her thoughts, she proposed a few changes.

Evelynn and Myria heard and thought it was fine. They nodded and got to work, quickly heading east. They weren't heading to the Golden Radiance Empire as initially suggested by Fairy Thunderblaze.

They were heading south after going east to enter the border of the Magical Beast Badlands.

In a particular mountain range, there was an earth vein rich in producing heaven and earth energy as much as there was one in the Golden Radiance Empire's mountain. It was second in place, but there wasn't much difference since the earth veins here in the celestial body barely supported Exalts in the first place.

It was currently occupied by wild magical beasts, but they were going to take it.

"You all don't want to overtake the Golden Radiance Empire?" Fairy Thunderblaze followed them.

She asked a question, causing no heads to turn. They didn't answer her.

"I suppose you defeated a Divine Exalt for us, so I'll answer you." Isabella, who was the nearest, opened her mouth.
