Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4771 Time To Leave The Secret Realm

Chapter 4771  Time To Leave The Secret Realm

"A person of great destiny…?"

The words had barely left Davis's mouth as he saw a white-robed man split into two as a thin black line flashed across his arm. An instant later, the white-robed man split open from the head to the groin as though an invisible guillotine had struck.

With an expression full of disbelief, his white robe fluttered like a torn banner, and a violet spray of blood burst from his halves, hot and crimson, even creating a blood mist from the immense vitality he possessed.

The two halves of his corpse slid apart with a wet, final thud.

Davis didn't move from his place. He flicked his hand, and the deathly scythe he summoned dispersed. He watched as the last thread of life drain from the bisected corpse, as well as the strange bundle of karma dispersed as well.

His lips twitched since he discovered that this man carried three red threads of fate, which meant he actually had three women fated for him in this lifetime. This made him momentarily ask if a red thread of fate wasn't as exclusive as he thought it was.

However, the problem wasn't these red threads of fate but the heaviness around his karmic bundle as though his presence outweighed all others.

Davis wouldn't have noticed this if it weren't for this place currently.

He looked ahead across the vast chasm and gazed at the spatial fold that hid the spatial vortex, which led to the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy's Upper Realm space.

Someone had actually found this place despite his efforts to mask this area and erase the traces of their previous visit, making Davis wonder who it actually was, and he saw this individual who nonchalantly walked out of it.

Davis could only frown before he made the move to kill decisively.

No matter who this person was, they cannot be allowed to live since they had found out this location, but most importantly, found out about the location of where it led in the Celestial Transcendent Upper Realm's space.

With his brows creased, Davis absorbed this white-robed man's soul essence and went through his memories.

*Bzz!~*

"Junior, you dare!?"

But a terrifying aura erupted from within, causing him to momentarily step back, his expression darkening before he calmed down.

"What's wrong?" A dark figure emerged from his side.

It was none other than Rioxys Plume, her white eyes gleaming at him with worry.

Davis raised his hand and rubbed his temple, "Just an old fart using specialized means to stop someone from soul-scorching his disciple."

"…" Rioxys Plume frowned, "Maybe I should've tried soulscouring."

"You know how to soulscour?" Davis shot a glance at her with some surprise.

Just how many techniques did she learn in her short stay?

"Nopies~" Rioxys Plume's lips curled into a playful smile, "I tried to learn, but it was too hard for me since I didn't have anyone to test it on."

Her answer left Davis speechless, but he nodded, knowing that Rioxys Plume's power wasn't just an ordinary wild tribe but a powerful and ancient power that possessed various types of techniques and systematic knowledge, or even cultivation made for spirits.

Spirits lacked a powerful physical body, so their cultivation might be oriented towards it. Otherwise, it's all innate cultivation for them, just like the magical beasts.

Nonetheless, Davis managed to garner some memories from this white-robed man. If his Will hadn't been strong enough to endure that defensive measure, that not only would he have not gotten anything but had also become a fool since it was a retaliatory soul attack at the Immortal Emperor Stage backed by the Will of a powerful cultivator, most likely an Exalt.

After all, going through someone's memories also means opening up one's own soul to incorporate it. If hit, the backlash would leave most unable to differentiate between left and right. It was similar to how Fairy Velvetmoon fully opened her soul to him in order to charm him. Although it was a mistake to do so on her part, she possibly couldn't have thought that his Will would evolve to a point where it was nearly impervious to her charm.

'Hmm… so he's a young master from a remote yet influential power in the Celestial Transcendent Greater Realm. That's dangerous. If left alone, he might've eventually found his own establish on the celestial body we found and created his own little secret empire…'

Davis saw many other memories, or rather, glimpses of them.

Basking in the kind of lavish upbringing only those who were born at the peak of privilege would know, his life was full of indulgence and authority, servants scrambling at the flick of his finger, and even elders bending to his arrogance.

Reclining atop cushioned platforms embroidered with starlight silk, he was spoon-fed celestial fruits by handpicked maidens, enjoying the favor of countless beauties.

He appeared to be in his early twenties but was already powerful enough to match Riaz Heavenshade. If left to his devices, he would eventually grow strong enough to reach the Alpha Exalt Stage at the very least and fulfill some kind of important destiny that could set a lot of undercurrents in motion.

However, Davis had just severed it with his own hands.

He didn't know how he changed the fate of some part of the world. Whether it was of minor or major significance, he could only ignore it as his family came first.

Davis erased the traces of the mess he had made and disposed of the corpse into the chasm, unbothered if someone would find it down there. Standing in front of the spatial fold, he wanted to head out and establish a perimeter, but knew he couldn't due to the Covenant.

That Covenant still stuck to him as though it were a part of him, making Davis inwardly grumble.

However, he sneered, knowing the comprehension of Level Three Obscure Intent had changed things. Before, he could only take a gamble without Fallen Heaven, but now, he was much more confident in being able to deal with the Covenant.

The Covenant grew along with his soul, but it could not appropriate his Will.

With his Will used like a blade, he was confident in cleaving through the Covenant using the enormity of his soul. A backlash was inevitable, but he felt it was nothing compared to what he had faced in the past year with the Blood Calamity, hiding in the plant lifeform and nurturing it, and then being suppressed by True Deities.

Davis's lips couldn't help but curl suddenly.

Unknowingly, he had encountered terrifying dangers and survived, allowing him to know he had come far from the time when he had just entered the True Immortal World nearly a decade and a half ago.

Being assured of his own thoughts, Davis stilled for a moment, deciding to keep the Covenant for a little more time. He couldn't be the first one to enter lest his location be discovered.

'Hmm… I'll break the Covenant here later and enter, but the celestial body or a part of it needs to be concealed before I enter… otherwise, I could be found by the Celestial Transcendent from the remnant aura of the Covenant lingering in my soul…'

Davis knew the Celestial Transcendent was capable of tracking the root of the Covenant, which was him. He didn't doubt the other party had methods to track even after it broke.

Davis was confident, but he would never underestimate the other party's capabilities regarding this matter. With that said, someone needs to go and clean up the place and make it suitable for his family to settle there.

Raising his hand, he rubbed the Temporal Voidplane Ring softly as he murmured, "Time for her to slave for the Davis Family…"

With a wave of his hand, he summoned Fairy Thunderblaze out!
