Devil Slave (Satan system)

Chapter 240 It Is For The Greater Good

The last time that Lenny had seen D7007, it was when he came back from the Chimera ant caves.

He had come for his revenge on the order of Gladiators.

He had killed a significant number of Gladiators to get to E666 and D7007.

Lenny had wanted to make thier deaths painful and tortured them dearly.

Most especially D7007.

Lenny really scarred his body with the tender methods he used to the deliver significant attention.

Lenny had used a pincer into D7007’s ass, slowly drilling it in.

The man had screamed and beggged, but Lenny had been most unwilling to stop.

The Pincer expanded the man’s asshole to nearly impossible degrees.

With the way Lenny had shoved it up his ass, D7007 would have either died from sheer excruciating pain, or die from the excess loss of blood.

It was the timely arrival of Athena, whom at that time was known as A222 that had stopped him.

Lenny like any other had forgotten about this unfortunate man that had become trash before his eyes.

However, as fate would have it, D7007 had not died that day.

Just like E666, the Magistri had fixed him up.

D7007 had been showing incredible leadership qualities that had not only impressed Cuban, but made him the most qualified for a particular post.

D7007 was about dying from the torture Lenny had given him, and would have long been gone by now.

However, Cuban thought he would fit best as the commander of the demons of this tower.

Usually, only gladiators that had reached A class were converted into the Magistri form as they bodies and minds could take the transformation.

D7007 was still far too immature for the process, but he had willingly agreed to take it anyway.

His determination to survive and the vision of the day when he would have his revenge on Lenny pushed him forward and through the pain.

Usually, the process that made one a Magistri was an excruciating one.

But for D7007, there was no pain like the mental blow that Lenny had given him.

It haunted everything about him.

For a person that was blessed with natural incredible cognitive abilities, a mental blow was the worst kind.

As fate would have it, he managed to survive, and since then, he had become the commander in charge of this tower.

In the past, they had been demons in their hunger and greed that had tried to attack the this tower, after all, this was truly a living being.

It was made of flesh and blood. However, the only soft part of it was within the tower. .

The outside was hard as stone.

This was obvious shelling by the Hell beast to ensure survival.

Even Lenny could tell that the only way to cause harm to this tower was to destroy it from inside out.

However, harm to the tower would mean harm to the dome that shielded the town from the chaotic devils of the outside world.

These demons had only one objective, and that was to protect the entrance to the tower.

And D7007 had not disappointed Cuban yet.

From the analyses of the tower that the Satan system had given him, this tower as Big as the Big Ben of London in his former world was a rank 1 Hell beast.

Although, Lenny had never met a Hell beast before, he was really interested in this specimen.

Lenny directed the Chimera ant he was riding down to the ground.

As he did, his teammates joined him.

A few demons saw this and rushed at them, but Lenny only waved his katana in cute arcs in the air to turned them into diced meat.

He was about to head towards the demon soldiers when Athena unexpectedly pulled him back.

Lenny turned to her. However, before he could say anything, she gave him a Slap on the face.

*SLAP!*

“Huh!?” This action of hers surprised both Hector and Perseus.

And for a slight second there, Hector thought maybe his lover was dead.

After all, Lenny was Lenny. This was the same man he had seen kill the Magistri, and that was a person akin to a mini god in their eyes.

She had a nasty frown on her face.

Her action indeed rose surprise from Lenny, but he could see from her expression that she had a reason.

“Children!” She muttered, “they are innocent.”

No one needed to explain to Lenny. He understood what she meant.

She was talking about the children he had turned into bombs.

Lenny looked her in the eyes, surprisingly, he was not angry at her.

It was because even himself knew that this was not right.

The innocent were not supposed to be pulled into such.

There was once upon a time in his former life were he only took assassination missions that had its effects in the betterment of society.

However, in coming to this world, he had realized that to truly free it of the forbidden plague that had infected it, he had to do whatsoever it took.

He had to do whatsoever he could.

To say that he did not regret it would be a lie, but then again, he continued to tell himself that it was necessary.

Was it, or was it not?

Right now, he did not want to think about it.

He rather not.

As a man that considered himself a saint, he believed that this was the only way.

Just to be sure that his consciousness had not pricked him when the insects threw down the people, he had tried not to look.

At least this way, he would not feel it, but this slap had an awakening effect he really did not like.

It was one that he did not need at the moment, and so he pushed it to the back of his mind.

Emotions would not get things done, so he was not going to let it ride out now.

His expression suddenly became stern, and he looked her right in the eye, “it is for the greater good.”

Then he turned towards the demon soldiers as he waved his Katanas, ready for a fight.

However, her voice came from behind him.

“Morality is a delusion that fools wear like a comforting Cloak…”

(Author’s note: It is slow, but I want us to be led through Lenny’s Character development and how his environment both confuses his decisions and yet, guides them. I hope you enjoyed the Chapter.)
