Devil Slave (Satan system)

Chapter 238 The Veined Tower

Athena’s heart seemed to melt the moment she heard that word.

But it was too late.

*BOOM!*

Like any of the others used as tools to meet an end, it went up in an explosion of Darkline magic.

Down below, there were fires everywhere. As Far as the eyes could see, there was a mixture of dark and yellow flames.

Houses were on fire, and even the demons were on fire.

Many ran about the place as they went up in flames.

Surprisingly, some demons still rushed for the human meat as it fell.

Whether there knew it was the reason for their destruction or not, Lenny did not know, but he was sure that their hunger and greed moved them.

Lenny Chuckled a little as he watched them scatter around.

Crusher joined him in laughter.

“Hey, Lenny!” Crusher called to him, “Where did you get the human bombs? If we had these back in the caves, it would have made a lot of things very easy for us, yeah!”

Lenny winked at him, “Its a secret!”

“Oh!” Crusher Chuckled some more, “you and your secrets.”

He asked no further.

These men, women and children that Lenny used as Bombs were those that he had touched and given Darkline magic.

The very first time that Lenny had wanted to give anyone Darkline Magic, it was to Perseus.

It was in the Devil Dungeon, and at the time, Perseus was about to die from not having Darkline magic.

Lenny, with the help of the Satan system had activated his Darkline magic for him.

It was then that he was informed by the Satan System that he could implant bombs in the bodies of those that he gave Darkline Magic.

For Lenny, this was excellent news.

Cuban had seen Lenny’s usefulness when he saw that Lenny could so easily activate Darkline Magic within other people.

Unknown to him, these people could also be used as weapons.

For the past few days, Lenny had touched quite a lot of people, whether it was babies from the Nursery or Gladiators, they were just too many.

Cuban had not taken all of them with him when he left.

Unknown to anyone, Whenever Lenny activated Darkline Magic in the bodies of those he touched, he had left a mark on them.

This mark was not one that could be seen with the human eyes.

In fact, even demons would not notice it.

The reason was that it was both odorless and colorless unless of course, it was to insects.

Only insects could sense it.

Lenny, for a long time had kept communications with the Chimera cave.

Insect-B had specifically sent him tiny mosquito like insects that he would crush within his palm before he would touch and give a person Darkline Magic.

These were the medium for the scent. 𝒷𝒹𝓸𝓿𝓁.𝒸ℴ𝓢

The moment that the Chaos in the Arena had started as a result of the Chimera ant heart, Lenny had given instructions that all within the Arena carrying this unique scent were to be captured, and the Chimera ants did just that.

This way, he secured the bombs the moment that the Arena was eating its self.

Lenny never had plans to blow up the Arena with these bombs.

After all, he believed that it would not be enough to truly distribute the hatred he carried in his chest for the Arena.

The only true method that would make him feel great was the use of Hector’s voice.

Besides, they also needed a reliable method to deal with the town’s people.

Seeing that the destruction below was from above, some demons with wings took to the sky.

Lenny turned to his side, “Crusher! You are up next buddy!”

Crusher grinned, “I Know,”

He Suddenly made a small jump unto the Insect’s head that he was riding.

As the demons came closer, he roared wildly, “AHHHH!!!” Instantly he jumped.

They were at least 200 meters in the air. this was a very risky move.

But Crusher was Crusher. He had always been the daring type.

His Hammer crashed into a demon’s head, instantly crushing it.

However, as that one spiraled down, he made another jump unto another.

This time around, he reaped the wings out of the demon’s back.

It screamed loudly in pain, as blood gushed into the air.

“Hahahaha!!! How do you like that, huh!? When you bastards were watching us die, this was how it felt!” With a little more effort, he pulled yet again another wing.

In this manner, he did not fall, taking the risk to jump on demon unto another.

Crusher was smart and quite sensitive to his environment. He never went for more than he could chew, only specifically aiming for the ones that were weak enough to handle.

Lenny watched as this Crazy man had his fun.

But that was not all.

More Winged demons had taken to the air to fight.

Lenny waved his hands, and Insect-B understanding what he meant, did as he instructed.

The insects that had evolved as a result of feeding on the demons were sent forward.

Immediately, a beautiful scene occurred.

Demons were being ripped apart like they were stuffed toys given to a pack of angry dogs.

Of course, some demons also tore the Insects apart, but the ratio of deaths on both sides saw that Lenny’s side was winning drastically.

This excited Lenny a lot, and he wanted to partake of it.

However, they were drawing close to their goal.

Just in front, was a very high tower. On first sight, it reminded Lenny of the Big Ben in London of his former world.

This tower was the goal.

Unlike the Big Ben, this tower was red all round.

On its body were what Lenny could only assume to be Giant veins rooted all across its body.

Even from the distance he was, Lenny could tell that this Giant Tower was alive.

After all, blood flowed through those veins.

At the peak of the tower was….
