“Alright, don’t be upset, come on, try the cake you picked out. Is it strawberry flavored?” Beiming Han quickly changed the subject, feeling just as angry inside.

Beiming Jue is such a scumbag, his end is near!

“Yes, it even has an adorable little strawberry on top. Daddy, Baobei likes pink.” Thinking about her cake, Baobei’s mood finally improved.

Leng Chi and the bodyguards had also delivered the cakes, and Beiming Han patiently unwrapped all the purchased cakes and arranged them neatly on the coffee table.

Looking at the dozens of cakes in various flavors and colors on the coffee table, all her previous bad mood had completely vanished!

She picked up a small fork and carefully scooped a bit of the strawberry-flavored cake into her mouth.

“Try this matcha flavor.” Beiming Han brought a bit of cake to her little mouth, and Baobei immediately opened wide and ate it.

“Daddy, you should eat too!” Baobei started feeding Beiming Han as well.

The father and daughter duo sweetly fed each other in the office, and even though Beiming Han never eats sweets and doesn’t like them, as long as his beloved daughter fed him, he felt it was the most delicious thing in the world.

After a while, Beiming Han called the secretary to bring two cups of warm water; he was afraid Baobei would get sick of eating too much.

“Daddy, go to work now, don’t worry about me!” Baobei urged him to go work.

“Alright, you’ve just recovered, so don’t eat too much.” Beiming Han reminded her.

Baobei nodded eagerly in agreement, and after Beiming Han gave her half a cup of water, he listened to her and went to work.

Although seated at his computer working, his eyes continuously kept an eye on Baobei.

The little girl was hopping and jumping by the coffee table, picking out the cakes she liked to eat.

Eventually, Beiming Han really got worried she’d overeat, and had to toughen up, ordering the secretary to take away the cakes and bring her some juice.

Baobei looked longingly at the cakes being taken away, her pitiful little eyes even stirred some sympathy from the secretary.

She really felt like kneeling in front of the big boss, not wanting him to stop Xiao Meng from eating.

But, the boss ordered it, so she didn’t dare disobey…

Once the cakes were removed, Baobei sat on the couch watching Beiming Han work, and soon her eyelids started to droop.

Seeing her sleepy demeanor, Beiming Han came over and held her.

Baobei tried hard to open her eyes, calling out, “Daddy.”

“Good girl, I’ll hold you while you sleep.” Beiming Han cradled her, finding the most comfortable position for her to sleep.

In less than a minute, Baobei’s breathing gradually became steady…

Beiming Han looked at Baobei’s adorable little face, lifted his hand to brush aside the stray hair on her forehead, and just gazed at her little face. No matter how long he looked, he still found her so cute, just like Xin’er’s face; he never seemed to get enough of it.

Half an hour later, Beiming Han was still watching Baobei with the same gaze, but he felt like her body temperature might be a bit elevated.

Her once pink little face had also turned a deeper shade of red.
