Chapter 123: Shock! They’re Doing It Outside?!

A Short Time Later...

Bang! The restroom door slammed open and a hot-headed baldie barged into the lady’s room! “Dirty prick, don’t you dare lay a hand on my Miss Yoona!”

Yet what met his anger was complete silence.

Baldie Tae briefly stalled for a sec, but quickly recovered and rushed over to kick open the stall door!

Bang! Nobody! Bang! Second stall… still nobody! That left the last big stall…

A single shove opened the unlatched door… there was nobody inside.

“???!” Now, Baldie Tae’s mind really blanked out!

Not here?! No—how is that possible?!

This was the last possible place they could possibly be!

While the baldie was questioning life, his bumbling tail finally arrived...

“Ha… ha… Brother Tae, don’t be rash! We can… ho... discuss things slowl—huh?”

Kim Sungho stopped on the spot and looked at the quiet scene, perplexed.

He expected the hothead to be swinging fists by now and came to play the good cop, but what’s this? Nothing’s happening?

Where was the promised “catch the adulterers” drama?!

“Brother Tae… this…” Kim Sungho waddled over to join his brother and noticed every stall was empty. His beady eyes narrowed thoughtfully, “Ohoho, now this… is rather unexpected.”

Shortly after, the final actor arrived and a single glance told him something went wrong with the plan.

“What happened?”

Baldie Tae fiercely glared back at the four-eyes and snapped, “There’s nobody here—that’s what happened! Four-eyes, is this your so-called plan? Well, it’s bullshit!”

Ignoring the angry bull, Kwan Minhwoo adjusted his glasses and glanced at Fatty Kim. The pot-bellied manager returned a shrug.

“Oho, looks like we’re out of luck. Mister Kwan, there’s only so many hiding spots in this store and we’ve went through them. If I’m not wrong, then they are most likely…”

There was no need to say it. Anybody with half a brain could guess the most unlikely yet only answer.

Where did those two go? If not in the store, then… they must be outside!

“Out there?! They actually—!” Imagining his goddess doing this and that outside made Baldie Tae so angry that he almost couldn’t resist rushing out to check!

The baldie moved his butt and Kim Sungho already knew he’s about to fart! So he quickly held onto the hothead to stop him!

“Wait—wait! Brother Tae, calm down! Calm down! Don’t do stupid things! Going out—that’s suicide!”

“Bozo! Let go! With my ultimate skill, I ain’t scare of shit!”

“Brother Tae, please listen! Listen! Those death angels aren’t like those spiders and skeletons! If provoked, even making it back to the store alive will be a gamble!”

“Manager Kim is right. Brother Tae, please think things over!”

The struggle didn’t last long. In the end, reason prevailed.

“Dammit!” The helpless baldie angrily punched the wall. “Are we just going to hole up in here like cowards forever?! Look at them! Even a woman dares to go out there! What about us?!”

This reality really hurt their pride. Even the cool-headed Kwan Minhwoo started having second thoughts.

Surviving outside at night… could it be that easy?

“Huh? Brother Tae, w-where you going?”

“To take a shit!”

After shocking the other two with that roar, Baldie Tae stormed out of the lady’s room. But instead of turning left, he turned right and went straight to the back exit!

Before anybody could stop him—clak—squeakkk~ A shove opened the metal door halfway and the world outside entered his sights...

The dark, moonlit desert reminded him of their nightmare on the first night, but the baldie still gathered the courage to shout out at the top of his lungs:

“Asshole! I know you’re out there! Don’t let me catch you or I’ll break all three of your legs!!!”

That single yell seemed to break a shackle inside him and the man felt relaxed all over.

But just when he thought the night wasn’t so scary after all, a monster from the deep burst out from the sand and the grim reaper’s scythe slashed over!

SCREEEEEEE!

“TAEYONG! GET BACK!!!”

Bang!! The sound of a metal door banging shut seemed to echo out into the desert…

On his cliffside lookout about a mile away from the store, Yu Zhiye watched the clown get slapped by reality and shrink back into his shell like a turtle.

Outside, the little death angel crashed into the store barrier and could only slap at the walls like a mantis trying to stop a cart.

Further out in the desert, sand stirred all over as the sand dwellers of the night “swam” over to the sound source like sharks smelling blood...

Yu Zhiye can’t help but chuckle at this. “Really… some idiots just love courting death.”

If it weren’t for the store’s magical barrier, such reckless behavior was enough to wipe the base!

Pop~ “Hmm? Who’s courting death, oppa?”

That question attracted his gaze down to the beautiful moonlit face… more specifically, the mouth that just finished her dinner.

The desert was cold at night, but Yu Zhiye felt really hot for some reason. Why?

Why else? He just finished testing if his manhood still works, and he realized, it still worked fine! Perhaps even better than before!

He didn’t know if that was thanks to almost a whole afternoon of abstinence or due to the recent boost in his stats, but a man of culture certainly won’t complain about such a “buff”!

Feeling that he still hasn’t vented enough, Yu Zhiye’s gaze darkened with lust and he helped the outlet for his lust up onto her feet, “Noona, why don’t you take a look yourself?”

A light push set her up to stare out the “window” and he guided her from behind…

Despite her shaking view, Chae Yoona still clearly saw the lively desert outside and the little bat-ape monsters swarming to attack the faraway base from many directions.

“Tch. They really provoked the hornet’s nest. What did those idiots do?”

Recalling what his consciousness saw through his observatory’s spy ball, Yu Zhiye pieced together the story.

“They were looking for you, but you weren’t there. An idiot let anger get to his head. And now... this mess. Haha. Looks like noona won’t be going back tonight.”
