Adrian spent a few days not doing anything but lazing on his bed with Annie snuggled in his arms.

A few days later he finally decided it was time to deal with those kidnappers, to be honest his anger was yet to be gone.

He still wanted them to suffer so he called Eve and they released them from the fog she had trapped them in.

One of them was the one Eve had brought back from the dead, the man looked broken, his eyes were vacant and he could barely speak.

Adrian locked them up in the basement of how castle, " This one won’t feel much pain like this, we can’t have that."

He healed the man’s mind bringing him back to reality, the terror in his eyes made Adrian’s grin widen.

Adrian created torture tools with his esper and lined them on the table, the kidnappers were nailed to the wall.

Their arms and legs spread apart, their esper sealed, they couldn’t resist even if they tried.

Before Adrian could start he heard a knock, the door opened. " Speak." Said Adrian in his commanding tone.

Amanda went on one knee, " My lord, there’s no need for you to dirty your hands with this vermin, allow me." She offered.

Adrian nodded, he could feel the rage boiling inside her, Adrian considered himself a rageful person.

Which is what Annie feared, that Wrath’s authority would heavily influence him but in the entire pack.

Nobody held as much rage and hatred as Amanda, even her ability allowed her to grow stronger with rage.

Unfortunately for her, the ones she hated the most have been careful and haven’t waged war with the pack which is what she really wanted.

’ She’s trying to use these lots to release her anger, I should let her.’ He sat down and beckoned her to proceed.

And so she did, using the tools he created started by removing the features representing their races.

Those with horns had their horns cut off, those with tails had those tails cut off, then she plucked their one by one.

To Fayera of their level, pain of this level was not hard to deal with and she knew that as well.

So far, she’s just been humiliating them, the real torture was yet to begin, before she began her torture, Adrian did something.

He enhanced their pain receptors, this magnified their terror a hundred fold, they started begging even before he began.

The one begging the most was the merchant, when begging didn’t work he resorted to threats.

Amanda tilted her head, " You would dare threaten my lord in my presence." Her cold voice made him shiver.

Before he could explain she ripped one of his lungs out, the pain was so intense the man almost bkacked out.

She fed him her blood, his wounds healed but not fast enough, even for Werewolves themselves, healing an organ would take long.

At this rate, the man was going to die. Amanda panicked. " I’m sorry my lord I let my anger get the better of me." Amanda apologised.

Adrian fed the man his own blood and his lung healed rapidly, the man was had seen the relief of dead was brought back to hell.

His mind couldn’t handle the shock and fear and his body shut down, Adrian healed him again.

And just like that, an entire month went by with Amanda and Adrian torturing them and healing them endlessly.

Amanda couldn’t even remember how many times she’s peeled their skin cleanly off their flesh.

Eventually Annie had to intervene and stop them, they killed them and burnt the bodies to ashes.

" In the past month when you were having your fun, we’ve lost multiple citizens to demons." Said Annie with a heavy sigh.

" What do you mean? Demons killed people in my city?" Adrian asked, his voice so cold it could freeze the air itself.

Annie shook her head, " The barrier you set up prevents them from coming in directly but it doesn’t stop those registers as ours."

" I see, so they possessed our people to infiltrate the city, quite bold of them." Snarled Adrian.

" Yeah, they possessed two humans who visited the human world, we didn’t notice until it was too late, they killed over a hundred people silently in minutes.

By the time Sam’s police force reacted it was already too late, I’ve sent relief to the families of those who died."

Amanda growled, " Humans, pathetically weak, they’re nothing but a liability." She snarled.

Annie gave her a glare shutting her up, Amanda silently slipped out of the hall to avoid saying anything more.

" So what do we do?" Annie asked.

" Are those two the demons you speak of?" He asked. She nodded, Adrian could sense them inside the castle.

" Why didn’t they escape? Demons can easily leave their host anytime they so desire."

Annie shrugged, " They were waiting for us, it’s as if they wanted to captured."

" I see, I’ll go see them." The two demons were chained to their chairs, a demon trapping magic circle was drawn on the floor.

As soon as he appeared they grinned widely, " It is you, it truly is you just as the lord had said, hahahaha."

The demons laughed, Adrian was confused, " You seem to know me, I don’t recall ever meeting you."

" Hahaha, you might not remember but we do, serving under the great des...." The demon started choking.

He coughed up a black thick tar like substance then laughed, " It seems I’m not allowed to speak of it.

I have a message for you from the Nameless one, for the endless circle to come to rest, the light of the moon must seize to shine."

Adrian frowned, " What does that mean? Speak." The demon just laughed, Adrian felt his rage boiling.

His fangs came out and he was ready to bite them to death but Annie stopped him, " If you kill them, you kill the hosts too."

Adrian looked at her, " Have you considered the hosts might want to die, they had to watch their loved ones die by their own hands, can they live with that?"

Annie didn’t answer, instead she went into their minds, past the consciousness of the demons and reached the trapped hosts.

She opened her eyes and sighed then nodded. Adrian bit one demon injecting his venom which is now almost pure chaos.

The demon’s body unrivalled like knotted strings and disappeared from existence itself.

All these happened in seconds, the second demon was so terrified he forced himself out of the hosts body to escape.

But he was bound within the demon trap, the demon was small, barely the length of his arm.

It looked like a black caterpillar with a human face, it gave off the aura of a level 3, too weak but not something a human can bear.

The forceful way the demon extracted itself killed the host, Adrian could’ve saved her by she looked relieved to die.

He understood, her husband was dead next to her, their two kids died by their own hands, mortals couldn’t handle such mental turmoil.

As for the demon, Adrian poked it with his claw, he could infuse his chaos anywhere now, not just his fangs.

" Go back to your master, tell them this, the pack of off limits, if your demons touch any of mine, I’ll descend upon hell myself and bring a sea of chaos upon you.

I would suggest you hurry, the chaos inside you will kill you if you don’t report my message with 24 hours."

The demon didn’t need to be told twice, it turned into black fog and flew away after they opened the trap.

The book is drawing close to its ending but I don’t want to rush it and end up ruining it, that might add more potholes to the story.

That makes writing harder though so be prepared for a terrible update rate.
