Chapter 344: Anger Management Therapy

Adrian requested Eve’s help, the kidnappers tried to run when he disappeared only to find themselves trapped in a realm of mist.

" How long should I keep them here?" Asked Eve while reaching into empty space, her hand seemed to phase through reality.

She dragged back the soul of the one whose neck Adrian had snapped. " You know, what you’re asking me to is very dangerous.

The reapers don’t take too kindly to somebody dragging the souls from the river of endless depth."

She told him, Adrian knew what she had just done must’ve not been easy, her phase was pale.

The hand with which she dragged the soul looked deformed, she pulled out a golden coin and threw it into the air.

A bony hand appeared through the void and grabbed the coin, Adrian felt the temperature drop.

" So that’s a reaper? Strange." Whispered Adrian.

" We were lucky this guy was yet to reach the sunless dunes or even I would not have been able to drag him back, here."

She gave him the soul, Adrian shoved it back into the man’s body and dropped his blood in his mouth.

The man healed and with his soul returned, he awakened from the death, the first thing he saw were glowing orbs of silver staring into his soul.

" Death..is too easy." Adrian’s voice made the man pee himself, he clearly remembered dying.

" No no please, I beg you I’m sorry please I won’t ever do it again." He screamed and begged and struggled.

" Throw him with the others, I’ll be back." Adrian told Eve, Eve threw the man into the realm of mist.

There they were to be tortured by the ghosts of those they’ve harmed, they were to feel all their pain and suffering in whole.

This was an ability Eve created based on Bloody Mary’s authority, it was not as powerful but it was enough as a torture tool.

By the time she’s done with them, their minds will be broken into pieces. Adrian returned to Anyx.

" Let go." Anyx grabbed him and they left the werewolf territory, they teleported to a distant island.

" This island is a dwelling of a tribe of Fayera called the Salam people." Said Anyx.

Adrian could see those people through his lunar realm, they were humanoid,with beautiful dark skin and purple eyes.

They looked no different from humans except they had no flaws in their physical appearances.

Not all were of the same size, some were short and some were tall, some slim and some thick.

But all of them were beautiful enough to be models, their bodies had unique purple patterns drawn on them.

" So what I am here for, is it to annihilate these people?" Adrian asked in a cold voice.

" By the great mother child you’re as dark as your mother once was, no these people are very peaceful.

The High council is sworn to prevent their extinction, that is true for all Fayera races in fact.

Even if we can’t protect every individual we try to at least keep the race alive." Answered Anyx.

" Is that so? That doesn’t seem to apply to the merfolk though." Adrian answered sarcastically.

" It does, there is an isolated group protected by the high council but it’s true that their treatment is different.

Even amongst the high council, few can resist the allure of eternal life." Said Anyx with a bit of sadness.

" Aren’t you all Demigods?" Adrian asked a bit confused, members of the council must all be Demigods, ageing should not be an issue for them.

" Yes but some have children and spouses who are not, if you had a chance to make that girl of yours live forever by your side would you not take it?"

Adrian knew she right, he too wouldn’t hesitate to slaughter the entire merfolk race to find a way.

" So what am I supposed to be doing here exactly?" He asked again.

" This island is surrounded by a barrier that prevents Demigods from getting in, normally this would not be an issue.

They can defend themselves against anything below Demigod, they aleo have their salamander god they worship."

Adrian searched the entire island and found that salamander, ’ It’s not a deity like Pan, it’s just a Gadra.’

" That Gadra protected this island as well but somehow, another Gadra managed to break through this barrier.

They fought and the salamander is wounded now, it can no longer protect this place against that Gadra."

Adrian looked at her, " You can’t be serious, how am I supposed to beat a Demigod, especially without my weapon?"

" I didn’t say you should beat it, you wanted to release your rage, I’m giving you something to take it out on.

Just hold it back for as long as you can, possibly drive it out of the barrier and I’ll take care of the rest."

Adrian nodded and waited, soon, he felt it, a powerful aura rivalling that of a Demigod, it appeared directly on the island.

" This thing didn’t seem to come from the outside, where did it come from?" He asked Anyx and she just shrugged.

Adrian flew down and landed in front of the Gadra, it stood nearly 20 metres tall, it looked like a canine.

At least its general shape, it had four eyes, two on each side, a long tail that ended in a blade like spike.

Similarly sharp spikes ran across its spine, instead of fur it was covered in scales that looked rough like a crocodiles armour.

The Gadra’s eyes landed on him and it growled, Adrian immediately transformed into his full werewolf form.

He though about summoning the weapons from the wheel, even though their power drops when the wheel is not close.

They can still enhance his strength but then he decided not to, be wanted to let the rage inside him go somewhere.

To do that, the needed to brawl with this creature with his own claws and fangs. Adrian took a deep breath.

A low growl escaped his lips then he let the wrath take over, the faint crimson at the corner of his eyes spread like paint.

In a blink of an eye his eyes had turned blood red, veins popped over his body and he howled to the skies.

His howl shook the air and spread through the entire island terrifying the Salam people.

The Gadra before him accepted the challenge with a roar of its own, both lunged at each other.

BOOOOOM, their clash shook the entire island.
