More specifically, Annie made sure he didn’t go out and start a fight with either the high council or organisation.

Which Adrian felt he needed to clarify, he absolutely did not intend to, absolutely. Because of that, the pack in lock down.

Annie’s conclusion was that they couldn’t afford a war as of yet, they weren’t strong enough and had much to lose.

On that front Adrian agreed but there was an issue, they had too many enemies, they didn’t need to start anything to be dragged into war.

But Annie was adamant, she called back every werewolf and locked down the pack, only merchant and mercenaries were allowed beyond the border.

Even they were guarded heavily by the pack, Adrian used is wheel to maintain a barrier over the pack.

Over the years, due to the wheel absorbing pure lunar energy, it had grown stronger, matching his own strength.

The barrier it formed was strong enough to stop a Demigod for a short while but issues stermed from within.

Wars entire deal was that they can enhance any seed of conflict to absurd proportion no matter how small.

And conflict was always going to be there as long as people existed so Sam’s lineage was left with a lot of work.

Adrian remembered at some point, a guy tried to murder his own brother’s entire family because his brother owed him 15 Rui.

15 Rui was basically nothing, barely enough to eat for 2 weeks yet he was ready to kill his own blood for it.

The pack’s police force was able to deal with it soon and the guy has been locked up ever since.

When he was asked why he did it he explained he couldn’t control himself, that overwhelming rage took over him.

For a moment even Adrian had wondered if this was wrath’s influence instead of war. Because of everything, the sloth of the pack had too much work.

While lost in his memories of the past four years Adrian felt a tremendous aura blanket their entire territory.

Everybody at a certain level felt it as well, their gazes turned towards the castle, Athi placed down her alcohol bottle.

Since she’s been trapped here and couldn’t leave for missions she ended up becoming an alcoholic out of depression.

Nobody on the bar knew who was though, they just thought her a drunk lady with nothing in her life.

So when she suddenly vanished into thin air it caught everybody by surprise, especially the mercenaries above level 5.

They could sense the terrifying aura as well and the only people who would dare move because of it were the werewolves.

They suddenly realised they might’ve been drinking with a werewolf, or maybe even one of the leaders all this time.

The realisation made them both nervous and excited, they’ve drank with a werewolf but then again they’ve also insulted her a few times.

Jokingly yes but an insult nonetheless, Athi didn’t know nor would she would’ve cared about their thoughts.

The boss lady just broke through to level 8 and she needed to be there to pay her respect like everybody else.

The pack now had two level 8 werewolves and both were the highest ranking members of the pack.

When she got there she found everybody already inside the throne hall and strangely it could fit all of them just fine.

It was as if the castle was larger on the inside which it was, Adrian just upgraded not long ago.

Athi immediately rushed outside to her house, changed her clothes and erased the alcohol in her system.

When she returned, all the other 12 lineages were already standing in order with their leaders on the front.

Alex’s lineage had a new leader, he was chosen amongst the most capable and the one with the highest points.

Adrian naturally upgraded him to match the other leaders. All 12 stood below the thrones facing forward.

Then raised their heads and howled to the sky, their howls reached every corner of their territory.

The leader of Atlantis heard it, he couldn’t understand the meaning behind the howl of course.

But with his strength he already knew what it was for, he made preparations to send gift of congratulations.

Annie was after all his own ruler now, not to mention her already overwhelming power has just grown an entire level.

He wasn’t the only one, the merchants in the city and the strongest mercenaries also prepared to go congratulate her.

But they were turned down at the castle door by Fred’s lineage members, this angered the prideful.

So much so some were ready to fight the pack, disregarding the fact that they would die instantly.

Suzie came out, her cold eyes scanned the crowd, " I ask you to stop causing a ruckus before the doors of this sacred castle.

You’re spreading your filth on the sacred creation of my master." Her words seemed to anger then even more.

One of them couldn’t hold back his anger anymore, his eyes turned red and he lunged at Suzie.

A spherical barrier surrounded her body blocking all of his attacks, a level 7 mercenary couldn’t even crack her barrier.

" I would take your head where you stand but your filthy blood with dirty the steps." She grabbed him by the neck.

Suzie was considered physically weaker amongst the pack, she was like a mage in comparison to most werewolves.

However that was in comparison to the pack, this Fayera was no match for her in that department.

She threw him into the air and was about to turn his body into shreds when she received a pack call.

" Be grateful to the mercy of the lady, now I will make an announcement, I would ask you all to keep quiet and listen.

In 7 days, there will be a banquet to celebrate my lady’s ascension, you’re free to attend.

However those with a weak will and self control are not welcome, if you cause a disturbance in the banquet, you will be executed on the spot, that will be all."

She went inside leaving a confused crown in front of the door. Annie sighed on her throne and looked at Adrian.

" Yeah I know, that wasn’t war, that was Wrath, he’s here." Both knew trouble was coming.

If any sin can influence Adrian, wrath and pride would be the biggest contenders.
