Even Annie was surprised by that, " Oh, you seem quite determined." She said. The princess didn’t respond.

" We don’t need it." Said Annie, that seemed to catch Atlear by suprise, she had not expected that.

Her people have hidden in the deepest regions of the sea because they’ve been hunted for those tears for ages.

Yet, they don’t need them. Atlear started to despair, her tear was the most valuable thing she had.

If she couldn’t offer that then she didn’t know what to offer them.

" How about your people migrate here, we’ll grant you protection, in exchange you’ll offer us the scales you shed." Annie offered.

Atlear looked surprised, " Our scales, but the scales were shed have no value." Atlear responded.

Her two servants tried to close her mouth, Annie giggled. " Don’t worry, they might not have value to you but we have use for them."

This made Atlear and her servants relieved. Annie called Melissa and sent her to accompany them.

Melissa led her army brigade to Atlantis, Annie also asked Eve to accompany them from behind.

In case something Melissa couldn’t handle showed up. After they left he and Adrian went to their room.

Adrian was still exhausted, he had just broken through and his esper was still unstable.

He would need at least a week to stabilise his power and acclimate to his new strength, he threw himself on his bed.

" Calling me there was unnecessary, Yiu could’ve handled everything by yourself." Said Adrian.

" I could’ve but you’re the primordial and ruler of this pack not me, an audience with a princess from another kingdom is an important ordeal." Annie replied.

He didn’t argue, she threw herself at him and rested her head on his chest, " Why did you ask them to move here?

Do you really have use for their scales or were you just being kind?" He asked.

" No, their scales really are useful when they reach a certain age, the older they are the better.

I read from one of the books in the library, there’s an alchemy spell that can use them to make potions.

Potions powerful enough to heal diseases and even increase lifespan, if we can have them, we’ll make a lot of money."

" Money? We’re filthy rich as we are, why do we need money?" Adrian couldn’t understand that.

It was not like they had much use for it, unlike others they can’t rely on potions to increase their esper pools.

They could only do so by consuming esper hearts, they don’t need many things needed by others.

Like weapons, food etc, they only eat because it’s fun and food taste good not because of hunger.

" It doesn’t hurt to have more." She replied, they continued talking for a while then had spicy time until nightfall.

" I need to tell you what your mother told me, it’s quite a lot so don’t be bored."

Adrian listened, Annie told him everything they talked about with Meggie, by the end of it he just sighed.

" Yeah, that’s more than I expected, still doesn’t explain why the Pendragon girl would attack me." He wondered.

She shrugged, " Maybe they just hate your mother and want to kill you, or they just hate you, you’re not exactly a well loved person you know."

" Ouch."

-----------------------------------------------

Somewhere below a dark ocean, an army of werewolves could be seen swimming faster than fish.

This suprised the mermaids swimming next to them, they had not expected the werewolves to keep up.

But the suprise didn’t end there, they had also expected them to need to go up for air every now and then.

However they’ve been swimming for thousands of kilometres and not a single one of them have swam up.

" Do you not need to breathe?" Atlear finally couldn’t hold back and asked. Then realised her mistake.

" I’m sorry, you don’t have to answer." They certainly couldn’t speak underwater right?

" Don’t worry, we’ll be fine." The leading woman answered surprising her even more.

She finally acknowledged these people were absolute monsters but that just made her happier.

Atlantis sat at the deepest depth of the ocean in Alguard. Alguard was countless times larger than the human world.

The deepest part of the ocean in the human world was 103 kilometres below the sea level but in Alguard, it was 12 400 km below.

The pressure alone was enough to crush steel into fine powder but mermen have adapted to this.

No amount of sea pressure bothered them and the cold and darkness was not an issue either.

But she was worried about the people behind her, even if they didn’t need to breathe, surely the pressure would be an issue.

Not to mention the bone piercing cold and pitch darkness. However they didn’t seem to be bothered by it.

After a long time she finally saw Atlantis, or rather the sea of Gadra surrounding Atlantis in every direction.

There was not even enough space for one as tiny as her to slip through. " This is worse than when we left."

Atlear was getting worried, she wondered if her people are still able to withstand this many Gadra.

Melissa floated next to her, " Are these the things we’re supposed to get rid of, there’s quite a lot of them."

Atlear looked down with worry, " Yeah, but you don’t have to..." She was afraid Melissa would back out.

So she tried to tell her it was fine if she just killed a few, perhaps enough to open space for her to go through.

But then realised Melissa was grinning, before Atlear could react Melissa was gone leaving a sonic boom behind.

BOOOOOM, the water exploded in front of her creating a bubble of extreme hot air that pushed the water aside.

Atlear backed off, she hummed and created a wall of water in front of her, he two servants also protected her.

" This power, it’s greater than father’s." Atlear whispered. Inside the bubble of hot air.

Gadra started falling towards the water but punches rained on them rapidly exploding their bodies into blood mist.

A figure shot through the blood mist into the sea, two explosions followed each other burning the sea and killing dozens of Gadra at the same time.

" This...how could punches hold so much power?" Atlear asked.

A man appeared next to her, " You haven’t seen anything yet, just watch." The man told her.
