Females who had just arrived at the Wandering Beast City always cried. They were terrified, filled with disgust and hatred for the Wandering Beasts.

Yin Da had seen it countless times and despised the tears of females.

But this Holy Female named Bai Wanwan seemed merely curious when she first saw him, not afraid.

He’d never seen a female like her. One moment she was deliberately provoking Zhu Xiu, and the next, she was acting like the victim, her words as soft as falling snow.

Yin Da had also grown up in an ordinary tribe, but his tough personality meant he never knew how to please females.

His Wife had preferred her other Beast Husbands. Then, when it was finally his turn to mate with her, he’d failed to pull out in time.

His Wife was furious and banished him on the spot.

’Females were so tyrannical... He had done everything to please her, yet she could cast him out for the slightest displeasure.’

Without the protection of a tribe, what good could come to a wandering male like him?

Yin Da was on his current path all because of his former Wife.

It made him despise females from the bottom of his heart. Humiliating them and filling them with fear became his greatest pleasure.

In fact, the first thing he did after becoming City Lord of the Wandering Beast City was return to his old tribe, slaughter them, and drag his former Wife back.

He loved watching her tremble in terror before him, crying and begging for mercy.

’But how could he possibly spare her?’

Seeing him remain silent, Bai Wanwan’s mind raced.

’I expected to fall into the hands of the Wandering Beasts.’

’I just wasn’t sure how the Wandering Beastmen would treat me, so I didn’t have a specific plan.’

Yin Da grabbed her slender wrist and pulled her toward him.

"Please me, and maybe I’ll spare a few of your cubs."

’This Holy Female didn’t seem to resist or detest us like the others.’

It made him a bit more patient.

After a moment of thought, Bai Wanwan made her decision.

Her eyes curved into crescents as she flashed him a radiant smile.

"City Lord, you’re not lacking for females. And even though I’m a Holy Female, I’m not so different from the rest. How about we try something a little different?"

Yin Da’s features carried a naturally savage air. When he stared at someone without speaking, it was utterly terrifying.

But Bai Wanwan just blinked, completely unfazed.

It was true that Yin Da didn’t lack females. There were seventy or eighty of them living in the Wandering Beast City.

Most of them had served him, but for him, females were not nearly as thrilling as slaughtering a tribe.

’But a Holy Female... that was something else entirely.’

He raised a hand to her small face, his rough thumb stroking her cheek. "And how do you want to play?"

"You lack for nothing, City Lord. But the warmth of a home... you must be missing that, aren’t you?"

The chill on Yin Da’s face intensified. Bai Wanwan had clearly struck a nerve.

Bai Wanwan sensed it too and immediately threw her arms around his waist. "Yin Da, don’t you want my love? I can give it to you."

Goosebumps broke out all over Bai Wanwan’s skin as she spoke.

’But there was no other way. I’m in the belly of the beast, and my golden finger isn’t strong enough yet. To protect myself and my cubs, I have to play along.’

When she hugged him, Yin Da’s body went as rigid as stone.

He had never been embraced by a female like this before.

His former Wife had never granted him such an embrace, and the females who came after were all terrified of him—he’d had to force them.

Suddenly, he found himself reluctant to push her away, to force himself on her and lose this hug.

Bai Wanwan’s heart hammered in her chest until she felt Yin Da’s rigid body gradually relax.

’So my plan is working.’

"Do you have other matters to attend to today?" she asked, looking up at him from his embrace.

Yin Da fought back the impulse to devour the little female, to make her his forever so she could never leave. He nodded.

Bai Wanwan stood up straight, smiling as she smoothed his Beast Skin Skirt. In a gentle voice, she said, "Then go take care of your business. I’ll wait for you, and we can eat together when you’re done."

A warmth spread through Yin Da’s chest. He nodded, almost without thinking, and strode away.

Bai Wanwan watched his retreating figure and let out a long sigh of relief.

’If I were deceiving a good person, I might feel a little guilty.’

’But is Yin Da a good person?’

’Maybe he was, once. But he led the Wandering Beasts to slaughter an entire tribe with such cruel methods...’

’Deceiving him? I don’t feel the slightest bit of remorse.’

’I know perfectly well what my fate would be right now if I were an ordinary female instead of a Holy Female. It doesn’t bear thinking about.’

’I have no idea how long this act will work on Yin Da.’

’I have to find a way out of here, and fast.’

But without any outside help, escaping this place would be next to impossible.

While Yin Da was away, Bai Wanwan slipped out of the building to try and get the lay of the land.

She had just finished circling the building when she ran into Zhu Xiu.

Zhu Xiu acted as if he hadn’t seen her. His gaze shifted away impassively as he continued on his way.

’I’ve seen his indifference before. This male is a cold-blooded snake.’

She paid him no mind either.

They passed each other at a distance, as if they had never interacted before.

After Bai Wanwan moved on, Zhu Xiu turned his head to watch her for a moment, then gestured to a Wandering Beastman on guard duty.

"The Holy Female went that way. Follow her. The City Lord’s orders are that nothing is to happen to her."

The Wandering Beastman acknowledged the order and immediately followed.

In truth, Bai Wanwan didn’t dare wander too far. She only explored the immediate vicinity.

’This Beast City is huge, and Yin Da’s residence is right in the center. Escaping will be difficult.’

Just as she was gazing into the distance, trying to come up with a plan, a female’s voice came from behind. "So you’re the new Holy Female the City Lord brought back?"

Bai Wanwan turned to find one, two, three, four... five females standing behind her.

The Beast Skin Skirts they wore were clearly thicker and more exquisite than those from the Cat Clan Tribe.

They had voluptuous figures, wheat-colored skin, and were prettier than most of the other females she had encountered.

"That’s right!"

She smiled, crossing her arms over her chest. "And you are Yin Da’s females?"

The Wandering Beast City was different from the outside world, where other tribes practiced a one-wife, multi-husband system.

But in the Wandering Beast City, the City Lord, Yin Da, had a few regular females, while the rest were shared among the other Wandering Beasts.

"That’s right. We are all Yin Da’s females. You may be a Holy Female, but you came after us. You should address us as ’Sister.’"

Bai Wanwan deliberately gave them a dismissive, once-over look. "You want me to call you ’Sister’? With me here, you can forget about ever getting close to him again."

The females were taken aback by her arrogance.

They all wanted Yin Da for themselves, but none of them had ever dared to say something so bold.

Seeing their furious expressions, her smile only grew brighter.

"Just you wait and see. I’ll make it so he never wants to leave my den."

After riling up the females until they were red in the face, Bai Wanwan let out a lazy yawn and slowly turned away.

"I’m tired. I’m going back to get some sleep so I’ll have plenty of energy to serve the City Lord tonight."

Having fanned the flames sufficiently, Bai Wanwan left to continue her reconnaissance.

Over the next few days, Bai Wanwan continued to explore the vicinity. She would occasionally see Yin Da, but he was always quickly called away on some matter.

And so, miraculously, she spent three peaceful days in the Wandering Beast City.
