Delicate Villainess, Desperate Males – A Beast World Reverse Harem
Chapter 188: If I Say It Isn’t, It Isn’t
Chapter 188: Chapter 188: If I Say It Isn’t, It Isn’t
Bai Wanwan’s chest heaved with anger. She glanced around, then snatched up the recently skinned boar hide from the ground that was about to be thrown away.
She tossed the boar hide out the door, spreading it over the filth. Only then did she step onto the hide to walk out.
The females watched her storm out, but they weren’t afraid at all. They just stood there, huddled together, ready to laugh at Bai Wanwan.
"Find this funny?" Bai Wanwan’s gaze grew cold.
"Outsider female, the Golden Lion Tribe isn’t a place just any Beastman can come to. You don’t belong here. Leave, you understand?"
The tall, powerfully built female puffed out her chest, staring contemptuously at the seemingly fragile Bai Wanwan.
Bai Wanwan remained fearless, a smirk playing on her lips. "Oh? So you’re doing all this to drive me away?"
"That’s right! If you don’t leave, we’ll splash filth on your home every single day."
They thought this would frighten Bai Wanwan, but she remained completely unfazed.
"Then by all means, try. Let’s see who gives up first—you, or me."
The females were visibly stunned.
And while they were still stunned, Bai Wanwan had already quickly opened the "medicine" tab in her system.
She had originally planned to save her Points, but thankfully, these powders weren’t expensive. A single portion only cost a few dozen Points.
’Their two families only had four males between them. It was barely safe for them to fish even when they cooperated.’
’She couldn’t rely on their protection forever, cooped up inside her house.’
’Therefore, she had to make an example of these females today. Otherwise, this kind of incident would just keep happening, one after another.’
’Only by making these females genuinely afraid would she be safe. Then, even if she walked out alone, no one would dare to make a move.’
Her hand reached for the itching powder...
"Host, you wish to exchange for the itching powder?"
Bai Wanwan conversed with Hua Sheng in her mind. ’You saw what happened. If I don’t retaliate, they’ll just keep coming to my front door to splash filth.’
"I heard them, but do you remember what I said? There’s no antidote. If you get it on yourself, it will affect you just the same."
’I know.’
’She would be careful. But if she accidentally got some on herself, she was willing to go down with the ship, taking these females with her.’
She gritted her teeth and hit the exchange button.
A small bottle appeared in her palm.
As she twisted open the bottle’s cap, she said to the females, "I hope you all can keep those smiles you were just wearing for the next few days."
With that, she gripped the bottle and quickly inverted it, moving her hand to ensure every single female present was dusted with the itching powder.
"What are you doing?"
They saw a purple powder drifting from her hand.
Bai Wanwan ignored them.
It took three seconds to sprinkle the powder.
Then she spun around and bolted back, getting away from the powder.
’How long until the itching powder kicks in?’
Bai Wanwan tossed the bottle into the system’s recycling bin and quickly checked to see if any powder had gotten on her.
"Very soon."
The moment Hua Sheng’s voice faded, the females standing a short distance away began to scratch.
"Ah, it’s so itchy!"
Once one female began to scratch her neck, the others started to squirm. Some even tore open their beast hides in a most unseemly manner, shoving their hands in under their armpits.
In less than a minute, the females had become a disgraceful spectacle.
"So itchy! Quick, scratch my back!"
"I’m itchy too."
"Aah! It’s so itchy! What’s going on?"
After scratching for a while, the females finally remembered what Bai Wanwan had just done.
"It was Bai Wanwan!"
As they said this, they all looked up at Bai Wanwan in unison.
But all they saw was the sight of Bai Wanwan ducking into her house and slamming the door shut with a BANG.
’Hua Sheng, it hasn’t started on me yet. I must not have gotten any on myself, right?’
"Rest assured, Host. If it hasn’t taken effect by now, then you’re in the clear."
Bai Wanwan breathed a sigh of relief. While she had been prepared to sacrifice eight hundred of her own to kill a thousand of the enemy, it was naturally for the best that she wasn’t harmed at all.
She leaned against the door, watching them curse and scream as they scratched bloody marks onto their faces.
One of the females stumbled toward Bai Wanwan’s house, still cursing. "Bai Wanwan, what did you just throw on us?"
"You vicious female, are you trying to kill us?"
She ran to the door, only for her foot to slip in the filth.
THUD!
The female slammed hard onto the ground, her half-open mouth landing right on a clump of dung.
"Aaargh!"
The female shrieked and scrambled to get up, but the more she struggled, the more she slipped. She fell several times, getting covered in filth before she finally managed to stand.
"Itchy, it’s so damn itchy!"
"Bai Wanwan, you get out here right now!"
Seeing their miserable state, Bai Wanwan felt a deep sense of satisfaction.
She stood in the doorway with her arms crossed and announced in a loud, clear voice, "There’s too much filth at the door. It is an inauspicious day to venture out."
Having said her piece, she turned around crisply, not wanting to listen to their squawking any longer.
The commotion outside was so loud it woke up Shi Hua.
She had already walked into the courtyard. "Wanwan, what’s happening outside? I think I hear some females crying and screaming?"
"Yes, you heard correctly. But it has nothing to do with us, so just ignore them."
After helping Shi Hua sit down, the cubs bounded out of the house and began to frolic in the courtyard.
After Shi Hua sat down, she realized the noise outside was growing louder, and the cries of the females sounded increasingly wretched.
She turned her head hesitantly. "Wanwan... are you sure we shouldn’t get involved?"
Bai Wanwan picked up a water bowl from the stone table beside them and took a sip. "Yes. Don’t worry about it."
Shi Hua was on edge, but Bai Wanwan remained perfectly composed, as if she couldn’t even hear the wretched screams and curses outside.
It didn’t last long. The females, apparently unable to bear the potency of the itching powder, must have gone to find the Clan Witch for help.
’If it had been something else, the Clan Witch might have been able to help.’
’But this was a system product. It came with a warning: no antidote. The Clan Witch would likely be powerless to help them.’
Sure enough, less than an hour later...
there was another round of pounding on Bai Wanwan’s door.
Shi Hua grew nervous and glanced at Bai Wanwan.
Bai Wanwan gave her a reassuring smile. "Don’t panic. I’ll go see what’s wrong now."
’In truth, she had a good idea of who it was. It could only be the Beast Husbands of those females, here to cause trouble.’
’If they dared to lay a hand on her, she’d just have to test the potency of her other powders on them.’
Shi Hua was still worried. After Bai Wanwan stood up, she immediately got to her feet as well, following close behind.
BANG BANG BANG...
"Open up! Bai Wanwan, open this door right now!"
The male voice outside was rough, clearly filled with raging fury.
Bai Wanwan yanked the door open. The person on the other side was in the middle of a punch, which now flew through empty air. He almost hit Bai Wanwan and hastily retracted his fist.
Upon seeing Bai Wanwan’s stunning face, the male’s aggressive momentum clearly faltered.
"Is there something I can help you with?"
"You... What did you use to make our females scratch their faces raw?"
Bai Wanwan shrugged, her face a mask of innocence. "What could I have possibly used? They were the ones who came here to splash filth on my door. A whole group of them, ganging up on me. I couldn’t win an argument against them, so wasn’t I at least allowed to close my door?"
"This..."
The male was stumped, at a loss for words.
Only then did Bai Wanwan get a good look at the females outside. Their hair was a mess, their faces were covered in scratch marks, and their clothes were in tatters...
She had to struggle to keep from laughing out loud. They looked absolutely pathetic.
The females who had been so smug and proper just moments before now looked like lunatics escaped from an asylum. Crucially, they seemed completely oblivious, still wholly preoccupied with scratching themselves.
The scene was utterly comical, no matter how you looked at it.
"Don’t believe her! It was her! She threw something on us, that’s why we’re in this state."
A female in the back shrieked until her voice was raw.
Bai Wanwan blinked, her innocent expression barely concealing a glimmer of schadenfreude.
"I told you, it wasn’t me. If you don’t believe me, you can go to the Clan Leader and ask him to preside over this matter."
