With enough practice, Riven could easily add both Spells to his fighting style. Gale Force could increase his speed, redirect attacks, and strengthen his movements, while Static Pulse could stun enemies or empower his strikes with lightning.

If he combined them properly, he could attack with the speed of both wind and lightning, reaching heights that had been impossible for him before.

<Spiritite: Quetzalcoatl Spells>

[Gale Force]: Channeling the god’s swiftness, the caster releases a concentrated line of slicing wind. It deals piercing Wind Damage and pushes targeted enemies backward, preventing them from reaching the caster. The force and range of the wind increase according to the amount of Mana and Spirit Energy used.

[Static Pulse]: The caster charges the ground beneath a target, causing a sudden burst of electrical energy to erupt upward. It deals low Lightning Damage and has a high chance of Shocking the target, briefly stunning them. Additional energy increases the affected area and extends the duration of the Shock effect.

They were the weakest Wind and Thunder Spells Quetzalcoatl possessed. However, the power they contained was still impressive because Riven already had enormous reserves of Mana and Spirit Energy. Even a basic Spell could become destructive if he poured enough power into it.

Which meant he could do something like this...

RUMBLE!

TRUUUUM!

BOOOOM!

A massive surge of thunder and wind erupted from his hands. Golden lightning twisted around a concentrated blast of cutting air before both forces struck the distant wall together. The impact blew through the stone and sent countless fragments flying, then continued into the forest beyond it. Withered trees were ripped from the ground, split apart, and burned by the lightning until a wide path of destruction stretched across the area.

Riven had continuously conjured the same Spells and stacked their elemental power within his hands through the Ki Compression Technique. After mastering the technique further, he could now apply it to magic instead of using it only with Ki. Each Gale Force strengthened the gathering winds, while every Static Pulse added another layer of lightning. By compressing both elements together and releasing them at once, even these basic Spells could cause that much destruction.

Ignias stared at the ruined wall and the scorched forest beyond it, clearly surprised by how quickly he had adapted. "Quetzalcoatl’s power now flows through you, Riven. Use it well and never betray the promise you made to him."

"I won’t." Riven nodded and lowered his hands as the remaining lightning faded from his fingers. He looked around and noticed several survivors fleeing through the distant ruins. If any of them managed to contact Claymore, reinforcements could arrive at any moment. "Let’s move quickly. We can mourn him afterward. We need to conquer this dungeon and take it away from Claymore before they can respond."

"All right!" Daniela and Label replied, quickly following him.

The group moved deeper into the dungeon, passing the destroyed and burning reactors along the way. Broken machinery covered the halls, and streams of spiritual energy escaped from shattered pipes before disappearing into the air.

They entered the massive, abandoned castle beyond the facilities, crossed its damaged corridors, and soon found a stairway leading underground. The steps took them into a small labyrinth hidden beneath the castle.

Riven spread his Aura through the underground passages, expanding his senses in every direction. Within seconds, the twisting corridors formed a clear map inside his mind. He detected several groups of enemies moving farther below, along with a stronger presence near the center of the labyrinth. After finding the fastest route forward, he signaled the others and led them deeper inside.

They ran through several corridors, fighting hordes of Skeletons and other Undead along the way. Most of the creatures were weak, but they attacked without fear, crawling out from broken walls and piles of bones to block their path.

Riven destroyed them with waves of lightning and wind while Daniela and Label eliminated anything that slipped past him. Before long, they reached the deepest section of the labyrinth and found a secret sealed chamber.

"It’s here," Riven said, stopping before the enormous stone gate.

Riven swung his hand like a sword, releasing a sharp wave of compressed energy. It pierced the massive stone gate and split it open from top to bottom. The runes and sealing formations left behind by Claymore shattered instantly, their light disappearing as the broken pieces fell inward. A massive amount of Nether and Ghostly Power then surged from the chamber, having accumulated for many years around the place where the boss had been sealed.

FLUOOOSH!

"Careful! This will rot your flesh if you let it touch you!"

Riven stepped in front of the girls and generated a powerful barrier of Spirit Energy and Psychic Power. The black energy struck it in violent waves, spreading across its surface while ghostly faces appeared and vanished within the Nether.

Once Daniela and Label were protected, Riven opened his mouth and inhaled.

FLUOSH!

The entire surge bent toward him, shrinking into a violent stream that he absorbed completely using his Heavenly Poison Body and Ghostly Soul.

He slowly walked inside once the entrance was safe. Darkness covered nearly every corner, so he raised one hand and created a small sphere of Ki imbued with the Lightning Element. The glowing sphere floated above his palm, illuminating THE old carvings, broken chains, and deep scratches across the stone floor.

As the vast chamber came into view, the boss was finally revealed. It had been chained to the walls by its wrists, ankles, and neck, with several Mana Inhibitors attached to its body. Each device was connected to the surrounding formations, constantly weakening the creature and preventing it from gathering enough power to escape.

It was a large skeleton standing over three meters tall, dressed in torn black robes. Its bones had darkened over time, and its empty eye sockets glowed with a faint red light. Despite its size, it barely moved, as if years of imprisonment had drained nearly everything from it.
