Delayed for Four Lifetimes: I Awaken by Investing in My Crippled Wife
Chapter 252: Moving To The Spirit Dungeon Realm, Starting Potion Mass-Production
-----
"My father said we needed a batch of ten thousand to start selling the products... do you think you can do it?" Natalie asked, her voice carrying a mix of hope and careful expectation as she looked at Label.
"Easily!" Label replied with a firm nod and a bright smile. "At the same time, I’ll be synthesizing some new recipes. Riven also has asked me for a favor, so I’ll leave Chemy and my Grimoire on auto-mode."
"Auto... mode?" Natalie asked in clear disbelief, her eyes widening slightly as she tried to picture what that could even mean.
As she asked that question, the process began almost instantly.
Chemy appeared in a swirl of green alchemical light, suddenly turning ten times larger than before. With a powerful suction force from its massive maw, the living cauldron absorbed and ate every single ingredient laid out nearby, swallowing them whole and beginning to boil them vigorously inside its body.
The grimoire glowing above Chemy’s head flew straight into him, fusing with the cauldron for a moment and granting him the precise power to mass-produce items with the exact same quality that Label herself produced them originally.
Afterward, the thick liquid inside Chemy started boiling even more intensely. One by one, bottles of Health Potions began floating out of the cauldron’s mouth and landing neatly on the grass by his side in neat rows.
"Woah! Already!" Natalie exclaimed, her earlier disbelief shifting into genuine excitement. "Alright, I’ve brought some help to store everything. Come out, Working Golem-A1!"
She quickly waved her hand, and a ring on her finger glowed with bright blue light. A magic circle manifested on the ground in front of her, and from within that circle a massive golem made of polished metal and glowing crystals emerged. The construct possessed multiple arms that folded and unfolded with mechanical precision.
The golem knelt before Natalie and greeted everyone present in a calm, formal tone. "Working Golem-A1 at your service, Lady Natalie."
"Oh, is this a robot?" Riven wondered aloud as he studied the impressive machine. "Or well, as they call them here, golems."
"Yes, robotics have evolved massively over the decades from what I’ve studied!" Natalie explained with clear pride in her voice. "Thanks to Mana and Spirit Energy becoming incredibly reliable energy sources, machines have continuously become more complex and capable of great artificial intelligence. This single working model will move all potions carefully toward the storage after packing them safely inside wooden crates. Right?"
"But naturally," the Golem answered without hesitation. It extended several additional arms from its back and began rapidly and efficiently grabbing the floating potions with great dexterity and delicacy, carefully storing them inside a massive wooden crate while making sure none of the bottles would break or overlap.
"Good," Natalie nodded in satisfaction as she watched the golem work. "I will be supervising the production and the golem... But, hmm... perhaps we could build something here to make the production even more efficient. Have you thought about building a factory? And this massive dungeon... Riven, could it be possible to set a Mana Reactor here? With that, we could speed up the production process massively."
"It would continuously drain the Mana of the Spiritual Realm though," Riven replied after a moment of thought, his expression turning serious. "There was a Mana Reactor here before, but it blew up and caused quite the mess. If we set another one, I don’t know... the entire Realm might be negatively affected. It also produces Polluted Mana or Miasma, which can make life wither away instead of helping it evolve. However, a normal factory that works on Monster Cores can work and be sustainable."
"Huh, there’s a new technology that’s eco-friendly that my father is testing in some areas," Natalie said, her eyes lighting up with interest. "It uses the environmental Mana instead of trying to suck it from underground Mana Springs, which makes the surrounding air cleaner and utilizes the leftover energy in the world. It is said that it can also absorb Polluted Mana and purify it into renewable energy."
"We could use that," Riven nodded thoughtfully. "Well, I’ve also got another way to build stuff, so perhaps it’s not even necessary for you to bother."
"Eh? How?" Natalie asked while tilting her head in curiosity.
"Like this..."
Riven suddenly summoned a glowing book made of gold and blue light — the Sovereign Codex. He opened it carefully and checked its pages alongside his current resources, his eyes scanning the floating text with focused intensity.
Then he found the section he was looking for. It was a detailed page that showed his two primary resources: Gate Points, which were earned by conquering Gates and naturally generated by Gates as they constantly consumed life and recycled it, and Faith Points, which were earned as a Lord from the worship of Believers. Gate Points were exclusively used to summon new Believers, while Faith Points could be used to build new facilities, along with some additional materials when required.
Beyond that basic explanation, there was a long list of facilities he could build within the Giant’s Paradise. The options ranged from simple houses to special springs or mining areas. Among them was something similar to a Mana Reactor, yet this version did not viciously extract energy from the world or the realm in a destructive way.
{Sovereign Codex}: [Facility Building]
[Gate Points]: [750]
[Faith Points]: [11,500]
[Available Facilities]:
{Basic Infrastructure}
[Believer Residences] – Cost: 200 Faith Points
[Storage Warehouse] – Cost: 150 Faith Points
[Training Grounds] – Cost: 300 Faith Points
{Resource & Production}
[Spirit Spring] – Cost: 500 Faith Points
[Mana Crystal Mine] – Cost: 800 Faith Points
[Monster Core Refinery] – Cost: 600 Faith Points
[Alchemical Workshop (Advanced)] – Cost: 1,200 Faith Points
[Mana Converter] – Cost: 2,000 Faith Points
{Special / Defensive}
[Barrier Totem] – Cost: 400 Faith Points
[Teleportation Gate (Internal)] – Cost: 1,500 Faith Points
[Believer Shrine] – Cost: 700 Faith Points
The list was utterly massive, with many facilities carefully divided between their own categories. Riven decided to check their information in more detail, already beginning to form a plan for how he could expand the production capabilities of the Giant’s Paradise without harming the Spiritual Realm.
