Chapter 4206: Fooling to the End

Grotou immediately saw the Primordial Beasts appearing in his terminal again. -They came out! All twelve of them!-

He had been in contact with Soza nonstop. "Then try to take their Primordial Laws and Essences out!"

Unfortunately... -This... Senior Soza, we can’t get a hold of any of them. They are all resisting the pull!-

"What?!" Soza was taken aback. "What are they doing in there?!"

-Ah!- Then, Grotou grew nervous. -They disappeared again!-

"Fuck!"

But then...

*Crack!*

Soza saw a crack appearing in the formation.

*Crack, crack, crack, crack...*

In a matter of seconds, the crack spread all over the dome, which was weird since it hadn’t shown any signs that it would come down so soon like that.

Kentucky and the others obviously noticed that as well. ’Rean, Roan, the protection formation!’

The twins immediately understood why. Tharos was the one using his Stabilization Ability to keep that formation’s power in check. Now that he had entered the tunnel connecting to Lisan, he obviously had to shift most of his focus to the stabilization of the tunnel instead. All the Primordial Demon Beasts were in that critical juncture now.

Even worse, neither Rean nor Roan could leave at the moment, either. They were the ones pulling the Lisan Universe’s power into the tunnel. They had to work together with the Primordial Demon Beasts!

Roan shouted into the tunnel. "Default! The dome will break!"

Default looked back for a moment. "We are almost there. Just a few more seconds!"

Roan nodded, passing his orders to all the experts outside through Divine Sense. ’Alright! We managed to force the Werdlem Empire’s Forces into a corner inside the formation. However, the reinforcements from Soza will break in anytime now. Abandon everything you are doing and come inside the hidden area. Support each other so the Werdlem Empire’s experts inside can’t stop you.’

Celis couldn’t help but question it. ’But if we do that, Rafina and Latifi will be free to attack the mountain range with the remaining experts here. That’s not even considering when Soza’s group breaks in. They will destroy the Natural Formation before we can do anything.’

’I know,’ Roan nodded. ’That’s why you will do as I say.’

Finally...

*BANG!*

The formation that Tharos’s power was holding together finally broke, allowing Soza and everyone else to charge inside.

At that moment, the Divinity Demon Beasts and Coddin stopped their fight, all rushing inside the hidden area. That place had additional security measures, so only those who had been allowed in advance could enter. Soza and the rest would have to force their way in.

That wouldn’t be hard, though. Those formations would be broken down even faster than when the dome lost Tharos’s help. If the mountain range lasted another three seconds, that would already be a miracle.

Celis and Kentucky, as well as Cloe, Dofrei, and the others, immediately released high-energy-consuming attacks, which forced their opponents back. They, too, quickly rushed into the hidden area. That allowed Thomas, Latifi, and Rafina to get free. Latifi and Rafina were in quite a bad shape after Kentucky, Coddin, and Dofrei increased their outburst, but they could still fight too.

"Destroy the Mountain Range! We can’t get the space inside scrambled, so they might leave once again, just like they did last time!" Soza shouted for everyone to hear.

Obviously, Soza didn’t know the twins’ group didn’t have the system anymore, so they couldn’t use the relay nodes. In his eyes, they would simply disappear if all were allowed to enter the twins’ dimensional realm.

Of course, that wouldn’t happen. The only way the twins’ group could do that was if at least one of them was in another location at that moment. They obviously were all together, so it wouldn’t work. They couldn’t even rely on the Body Reformation anymore without the system’s processing power.

The channel hasn’t been created yet. It was close, but not entirely. Three seconds wouldn’t be enough. They needed more time.

But then, a laugh echoed from within the Mountain Range. Right after, Rean and Roan appeared from behind the protective formation around it.

"Hahaha!" Rean and Roan had disdainful expressions on their faces, looking straight at Soza. "Truly, how did the Werdlem Empire stand tall for so long?"

Following that, Rean and Roan raised their hands, and the Light of the World around the Mountain Range changed!

Soza, Latifi, and Rafina had a bad feeling. They had been lured by the twins’ group several times already, and they always fell for it! Now, seeing the light of the world changing, the same thought appeared on their minds. Once again, they had been lured into this situation!

"Careful!" Soza’s power circulated, and so did Rafina and Latifi’s!

Seeing the reaction from Soza’s group, all the remaining experts, be they Celestials or Divinities, did the same. They all braced themselves for whatever was coming their way now!

"Hum?" Soza narrowed his eyes. Only now did he pay more attention to the change in the Light and Dark Elements in the area. "There is nothing?"

A bad premonition appeared in his mind.

Indeed! Nothing happened! Those who had Light or Dark Element affinity were even more certain. "Senior Soza, that was nothing but a simple elemental manipulation. It carried no risk..." Someone told Soza.

Finally, it dawned on them! They were fooled! Again!

"Attack the mountain range now!" Soza’s rage was reaching a point where he could explode at any moment. Just how many times is he going to fall for Rean and Roan’s tricks?

Well, that was indeed Roan’s idea. It’s just that Rean and Roan weren’t present there at that moment. The Rean and Roan Soza’s group saw was just their clones. That Light and Dark Element manipulation was actually done by Kentucky, who prepared it ahead of time before he rushed into the hidden area. And with Celis’s help to conceal the energy readings of that manipulation, the two activated that change in the environment, a change that had no harmful effect whatsoever!

*Rumble!*

Yet, before the attack from Soza’s group started, the mountain range began to collapse into itself out of nowhere!

"WHAT NOW?!" At this point, Soza was already expecting anything to happen.

Why did the mountain range collapse? Because the rest of the natural formation’s energy was finally entirely used! What appeared before Soza’s eyes was an enormous black tunnel in mid-air, similar to an Abyssal Path or such.

And, already inside the tunnel and crossing it, was Rean, Roan, and all the Demon Beasts or other allies from the twins’ group!

"Foll-" Soza was just about to give the order to go after them. He obviously wouldn’t let them go that easily. But he couldn’t finish giving the order...

"Stop!" Rafina stopped him! "There is no point now."

She could tell it. The ones keeping that tunnel open were the twins and the Primordial Demon Beasts. They were already quite far. If Soza or anyone else entered it and the twins’ group closed the tunnel once they crossed, everyone left inside would die or end up in some random corner of the Great Void.

Rean and Roan looked back as Rean spoke with a smile. "The Werdlem Empire was a great host, but we need to go home now. Thank you and farewell."

Finally, the twins’ group and everyone else crossed the tunnel, which was closed straight away. They were all gone from the Werdlem Empire!
