Chapter 4205: It’s Here
Chapter 4205: It’s Here
Truth be told, the runes used to create that barrier should never, ever be able to be deployed. The energies running inside far surpassed anything that a Divine Middle Level Formation could handle. The runes were being forced to display many times the prowess they were built for.
That’s where Tharos’s Innate Ability of Stabilization came in. Those energies should never have stabilized. The entire formation should have blown up the moment it was turned on. Yet, with Tharos’s ability, he made that stabilization happen!
That’s how a formation of that level could display a protection power that even some high-level legendary Formations couldn’t. Of course, Tharos had to be present, controlling the energies of the formation directly. It wasn’t like Hick’s boundaries, which Hick could simply put in place, and he wouldn’t need to be there anymore unless he wanted to keep them reinforced all the time.
And thus, Soza’s experts continued to bombard the formation nonstop, but it didn’t come down. Sure, it would eventually be destroyed. There was only so much that that level of formation could do against Soza and his group. But for now, that was enough.
"Hahaha!" Kentucky saw that and laughed out loud.
Then, some of his bloodline was burnt, and the Sky Energy circulated fast. The Sky Feather Blades dissolved, and the image of a white and black sun appeared on the wings on his back.
’Final Art - Sky Sovereign’s Twin Eclipse!’
Different from when Kentucky used this ability back in the Werdlem Universe, he was now a Celestial Realm Expert, and one at the peak stage. This ability still used a lot of energy and bloodline, but it wouldn’t make him run empty.
Rafina also saw that Soza’s group couldn’t come inside, and she gritted her teeth as her attention turned to Kentucky. Not only Kentucky, actually. Coddin was still there, and his Silver Flames seemed to change again. It was obvious that those two were intending to attack with everything they had. ’Hmph! Two can play this game!’
Kentucky’s battlefield wasn’t the only place people saw things escalating. Everywhere around, everyone pressed their opponents as much as they could, especially the twins’ group’s side. They had to take the chance that Soza’s entourage was still outside and finish the battle inside before things changed.
By now, Rafina, Latifi, and Thomas understood that they couldn’t show any openings. Just like Kentucky and Coddin, their power accumulated, and they prepared to release their best attacks and treasures. Everyone on the Werdlem Empire’s side did.

Back in the Natural Formation, Rean couldn’t help but smile. "This is great, Tharos! Say, when we get to Lisan, would you mind joining me in some formations research?"
Tharos shook his head in response. "I’m not even the guy who put that formation in place. I’m only using my innate ability to make it work in that overpowered state instead. I truly don’t know much about them other than feeling and fixing any stability issues. You’d better find someone else."
Rean shrugged. "That’s exactly the thing I want you to help me with."
"You guys can talk more about it later," Roan said, pointing at the black tunnel. "It is here."
*Rumble!*
Suddenly, the twins saw some kind of power bursting out of the opening in space where the multicolored laser was shooting into. Then, after so many years, the twins felt it. There was no doubt. That was the power they had back when they lived in the Lisan Universe.
That wasn’t all. At the end of that tunnel, they could see a very familiar figure. It was Soul Gem!
[Alright, you two! You know what a Universe Owner can really do now. Use your connection and pull all the energy the Lisan Universe can muster inside. The Primordial Demon Beasts will do the rest!]
The twins nodded, and they closed their eyes. They didn’t know what Universe Owners were able to do before back when they ’died’ in Lisan. However, they got plenty of information and examples during their stay in the Werdlem Empire.
---
On Soul Gem’s side, his smile increased as he looked back. "Black Locust, Dalquiel, let’s take some distance. The formation will work on its own for a while."
Black Locust narrowed his eyes. "Do you expect me to leave the Dark Manipulator behind?"
Dalquield agreed. "I’m not leaving the Light Manipulator either."
Soul Gem was already flying away, though. "Hey, I also have the Hexahedron on my side, but I’m leaving, am I not? Anyway, I told you before, once the energy of Lisan was pulled by the twins, things here would get dangerous. You can stay if you want. Just don’t blame me if you die because of it."
Seeing Soul Gem flying away, Dalquiel and Black Locust looked at each other. Then, their self-preservation instincts kicked in, as they could feel that something they couldn’t handle was quickly approaching. "Tch..."
They followed Soul Gem, and that was absolutely the right choice. Not long after, the space around that region began to contort, and some kind of energy began to pour out of nowhere, as if coming out of space itself. Soul Gem and the others, even from afar, could recognize it. That was the Chaos Energy, coming directly from the Chaos Origin Source through the twins’ call. The Universe was answering them, and they sure knew how to use it now.
Finally, that concentration of energy that could even kill celestials began to pour into the tunnel nonstop. There was enough energy to make cultivators go all the way to the Peak Stage Divinity from no cultivation at all several times over every second!
With that, the tunnel began to enlarge nonstop, and that enlargement began to spread over the entire tunnel.
---
Back on the twins’ group side, Default noticed the change. His eyes turned to the Primordial Demon Beasts, and his Innate Ability to control all existence gathered around all of them. "Alright, everyone. When I give the order, charge out of the Abyssal Room and enter the tunnel. Be ready to use your Innate Abilities to stabilize it."
"What about our consciousness?" Xyrath asked. "Won’t we get in a trance again once we leave this place?"
"That’s why I used some of my power on all of you," Default said. "I can’t protect you all for more than a few seconds, but that should be more than enough to jump into the tunnel. We just need to move a few hundred meters inside, and it will already be like we left the Werdlem Empire. That should be enough."
*Bang!*
Then, the tunnel on the twins’ side burst with even more energy, expanding several times and almost covering the entire open underground area. "It’s here! Let’s go!"
