Unless a consciousness has a clear goal, it rarely attacks humans, there are hardly any resentful, vicious ghosts, those terrifying paranormal incidents are mostly stories fabricated by people facing inexplicable events. Only a very small portion actually stems from overly strong consciousness influencing reality.

Simultaneously, in traditional culture, ghosts are not the final stage of death.

Human dies to become ghosts, ghosts die to become Nian, Nian dies to become Xi, Xi dies to become Yi.

Meaning, even ghosts eventually face a deeper level of death over time.

When ghosts generated by death lack sufficient energy input, they gradually weaken or perish, turning into "Nian," which is an even more ethereal form than ghosts but still capable of basic thought reactions.
