Cursed Immortality

Chapter 1297: Planet Destroyer: Fire! (1)

Jacob’s burning eyes remained indifferent as he had already made his decision.

He didn’t need to defeat Alexandra directly; he only needed to remove her advantage. If she wanted to remain invisible, he would turn the entire battlefield into a place where invisibility no longer mattered.

Although there was still uncertainty about whether this could force Alexandra out of hiding or whether she had already escaped to report it to the Destin Saint, he was willing to take the chance.

Moreover, Jacob had a reason to stand his ground right now. In the next moment, Jacob slowly raised one skeletal finger, and the Life Bane Wheel revolved behind him. The sacrificial energy continued to pour into it, and his lifespan kept climbing.

Above him, the Planet Destroyer completed its transformation, and the countless weapons suddenly locked into formation.

"Sixth Form, Starfall..." Black Mechanic’s mechanical voice echoed through Jacob’s mind...

"Ammunition synchronization complete!

"Commencing ammunition inventory."

Jacob’s burning eyes remained fixed on the darkness ahead as he didn’t interrupt because if Starfall was going to be unleashed, he wanted to know exactly what he had created.

Black Mechanic’s mechanical voice continued.

"Primary ammunition category: Elemental Law Arsenal."

Above the treasury, countless enormous weapons adjusted their positions; some of the black metallic structures opened like flowers, revealing layers of rotating barrels, and others unfolded their bodies, exposing glowing cores.

"Death Law Essence Bullets: loaded."

A series of weapons turned completely black.

"Lightning Law Essence Cannon Shells: loaded."

Blue-white arcs of lightning crawled across several enormous cannons.

"Light Law Essence Lasers: loaded."

Dozens of weapons became dazzlingly bright, their interiors containing concentrated light that seemed capable of piercing dimensions.

"Earth Law Essence Atomic Rockers: loaded."

Massive weapons began condensing brown-gold energy into their ammunition chambers.

"Fire Law Essence Incineration Bombs: loaded."

The temperature surrounding several weapons suddenly rose.

"Water Law Essence Pressure Bombs: loaded."

Liquid-like energy flowed through transparent conduits before being compressed into tiny spheres.

"Wind Law Essence Vacuum Bullets: loaded."

The surrounding air began disappearing.

"Life Law Essence Regeneration-Piercing Rounds: loaded."

That particular announcement made Jacob’s eyes narrow slightly, as life energy had never been something he associated purely with healing anymore; in sufficient concentration, even Life Law could become destructive.

Life could forcefully interfere with another existence’s natural cycle, accelerate its growth beyond control, distort its regeneration, or cause an already damaged body to collapse beneath the weight of its own vitality.

Black Mechanic continued without pause.

"Secondary ammunition category: Soul and Spirit Arsenal."

A faint tremor passed through the treasury.

"Soul Totem Bullets: loaded."

"Soul-Shattering Cannon Fodders: loaded."

"Soul-Locking Laser Bombs: loaded."

"Stellar Aura Energy Rockets: loaded."

The weapons surrounding the treasury suddenly began drawing energy from somewhere far beyond ordinary space while the darkness above them seemed to deepen.

"Stellar Spirit Energy Piercing Rounds: loaded."

For the first time, Alexandra’s expression changed as she finally felt that those energies weren’t ordinary stellar energies but carried something more profound. Something that seemed capable of touching the spiritual foundation of an existence rather than merely attacking its body.

Yet Black Mechanic’s report wasn’t finished.

"Tertiary ammunition category: Spatial and destructive arsenal."

Several weapons immediately changed shape as their barrels elongated, and their internal cores compressed.

"Spatial Collapse Bullets: loaded."

"Dimensional Severance Lasers: loaded."

"Void-Crushing Cannon Shells: loaded."

"Reality-Piercing Rockets: loaded."

Alexandra’s expression grew increasingly solemn as she sensed the subtle danger posed by those tertiary munitions.

But it wasn’t over, as the Black Mechanic’s voice suddenly became colder.

"Final ammunition category detected."

Jacob’s eyes flickered.

There was a brief pause.

"Magic-Nuclear Arsenal."

Silence; even Jacob hadn’t expected that Black Mechanic would categorize ’Magic-Nuclear Arsenal’ as the last category.

Black Mechanic continued.

"Magic-Nuclear Bullets: loaded."

"Magic-Nuclear Cannon Fodder: loaded."

"Magic-Nuclear Atomic Rockets: loaded."

"Magic-Nuclear Phantom Bombs: loaded."

"Magic-Nuclear Atomic Phantom Bomb Bullets: loaded."

"Magic-Nuclear Reality-Breaking Warheads: loaded."

Jacob’s fingers slowly tightened as this was the ammunition he had discovered only after the latest evolution of Planet Destroyer. Even he still didn’t fully understand it, and that was precisely why he found it dangerous.

Magic-nuclear power wasn’t simply magical energy combined with nuclear energy; it was something born from the interaction between the two.

Magic provided the impossible while nuclear force provided the destructive principle, and when those two concepts were forced into the same system, something strange emerged.

Moreover, Magic-Nuclear ammunition possesses variable destructive properties. Properties include physical annihilation, energy destabilization, Law interference, spatial disruption, magical structure collapse, and localized reality destruction.

It became a power capable of affecting reality itself, and not by overwhelming reality with raw strength, but by making destruction obey a different set of rules.

Alexandra suddenly felt a peculiar unease when the final ammunition was loaded, and for the first time, she didn’t feel merely threatened but genuinely uncertain.

The Cloak of Occult concealed her existence, but it didn’t make her immune to everything, and that was precisely the problem. If those weapons could really threaten her, then hiding inside the darkness might no longer be enough.

Black Mechanic finally concluded.

"All ammunition categories synchronized!"

One by one, the weapons above the treasury began locking onto different regions.

’Click...’

’Click...’

’Click...’

Thousands upon thousands of mechanisms moved simultaneously, and the sound was almost beautiful, like an enormous mechanical orchestra preparing for its final performance.

"Ammunition distribution confirmed!"

Black Mechanic paused, and then its voice became completely emotionless.

"Soul destruction assigned to designated sectors."

Several weapons turned toward the deepest darkness.

"Law suppression assigned."

More weapons rotated.

"Spatial collapse assigned."

The surrounding space began trembling.

"Elemental annihilation assigned."

Fire, water, earth, wind, lightning, light, and death began gathering within different weapons.

"Stellar Aura and Stellar Spirit penetration assigned."

The darkness above the treasury seemed to give rise to countless stars.

"Magic-Nuclear destruction assigned to all high-priority sectors."

Then Black Mechanic delivered the final statement.

"Targeting protocol established.

"All systems synchronized.

"Starfall is ready.

"Ready to fire, sir!"

Jacob slowly raised his skeletal hand, and his jade-white bones were covered in intricate runic lines, and the black Planet Destroyer ring seemed almost insignificant upon his finger.

Yet at that moment, it felt as though the entire treasury was waiting for that single hand to move.

Alexandra stared at him from within the darkness, and for the first time since she had arrived, she felt something approaching fear. She had originally believed Jacob was simply trying to destroy the surroundings to force her out.

But now she understood. He wasn’t going to randomly bombard the treasury; he had divided the entire battlefield into countless regions. Every possible hiding place, every possible escape route, every layer of space, every corner of darkness, and everything had been assigned a different kind of destruction.

Alexandra’s thoughts raced, ’The Cloak can hide me from him. But can it hide me from that?’

Her gaze slowly shifted upward, and the answer came before she could finish the thought.

’No!’

At least, she couldn’t guarantee it because the weapons weren’t searching for her, but they were attacking everything.

"Starfall..." Jacob’s voice was quiet, and then his finger descended. "Fire!"
