Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox
Chapter 904 – Wreckage
The Foxes on the beach cackled with glee. They were quite happy about their siege weapons.
They might be a bit rough around the edges, but those Foxes did not care. If they didn't hit, they would shout about how to adjust it and shoot again.
There was no real tension in this place. Even Mei sat down watching this. Of course, only after Danji pacified her.
"Do you even have enough Spirit Stones?" Mei raised her eyebrow. While she could cover it for Aiko, that would be bad education, so it was better to not overdo it.
Witch Aiko turned around. "Yeh."
She plopped down thousand Spirit Stones as they rolled around until settling down.
Mei was happy that Aiko didn't do this without having the financial backing, but...
The Foxes... didn't expect that. They thought that this was just a little game where the Vicious Jade Fox just jokingly said that, but with actual Spirit Stones on the line...
*Glint*
The eyes of all Foxes, even those that were not participating shone in strange light.
"...?" Witch Aiko was momentarily confused, that is, only until one Muscle Fox lifted a huge boulder.
*Swish*
The Muscle Fox threw it with such force that not only did it create an immediate sonic boom, but even gravity could not affect it.
*boom*
A small boom was heard in the distance as a new hole was formed on the side of the hull.
"..." Witch Aiko felt like her plan was a bad idea considering what these Foxes were capable of, but at least they were having fun, right...?
More and more Foxes lined the beach, each one with one boulder.
"Everyone, it's unlikely that we will be able to make another hole, so let's just shower it!"
One of the Muscle Foxes shouted, reminding them that what he threw was a lucky hit. That was because their siege weapons were very inaccurate, so the Northern Sect didn't bother with them all that much.
However, everything changed once they used their own hands.
The accuracy? Pinhead perfect!
The speed? Staggering!
The ammunition? Almost endless!
*Swish**Swish**Swish**Swish**Swish*
*Swish*x246
The sky darkened as hundreds upon hundreds of boulders flew high up.
This time they didn't do it in a perfect straight line, since their boulders might collide, but if they threw it as a curve.
Thundering booms were heard in the distance until the Elders shielded both the Disciples and the 'continental flying ship'.
"Awwww..." The Foxes complained to each other, but since they started this, they might as well finish this.
No one stopped them from picking one boulder at a time. Out of boulders? There were smaller rocks around that you could use, do not worry.
Too weak to throw rocks around? While unlikely, there were plenty of smaller pebbles around, so show us what you got!
However, some Foxes soon quit since they discovered quite a nice pastime.
"They are skipping~!" The Foxes praised the water and pebbles as they skipped yet another rock.
Well... skipping was a bit of an understatement.
The sea and ocean had waves. Those waves would make skipping impossible, but well... the Foxes were just brute-forcing it. They threw the pebble. The pebbles force flattened the water upon which it skipped a few times before disappearing with the waves.
Mei leaned back. Aiko was quite a talent. She was worried about the other Foxes not having anything to do and just causing trouble, but thanks to the siege weapons and now rocks, they found numerous pastimes.
"I have a rock! I have another rock!" The Fox gestured animatedly.
*Smash*

She smashed two rocks together, but one of them chipped in a flat way.
That's right, this was something similar to flint, and those Foxes were creating stone tools...
"Now I have a knife and an axe! Let's build something!" The Fox shouted loudly as more and more Foxes came over and created their own weapons.
"Isn't that overdoing it?" Witch Aiko wanted to join them, but feeling those gazes on her, she was not allowed to move from her chair.
"Why not? We will be here for a few days until everyone is ready.
*Boom*
"Bullseye!" One Muscle Fox shouted happily as he almost sank the Northern Sect's 'continental flying ship'.
"You bastards!" One Elder shouted towards the lone island, his voice reverberating multiple times, making some of the weaker Foxes wince.
"What do you think you are doing?! We are in a non-combat zone!" The Elder was infuriated as he dug himself from within the ruined ship.
"Oh? In that case we just need justification, right?" Mei would join this. If the Foxes would stop, they would disperse and cause trouble, but with this, she could see the vast majority of them. In other words, she was supposed to help them!
"You don't have any justification!" The Northern Sect's Elder shouted again.
"Let's see. Invasion without forewarning. Attempted plundering. Kidnapping Foxes. Using Divinator to steal Treasures." Mei knew some of the rules that were between Sects, including the Fox Village.
As such, she just listed a few of their 'crimes'.
As expected, the Elder got the memo and went back under the wreckage, slowly, like he was never here to begin with.
"And he is gone." Witch Aiko was impressed how Mei was able to shoo that baldie away with just a few words.
"The more information you have, the easier it is to act upon it. However, if you do not have enough information, or do not believe that the information is correct. Then it's better to focus on oneself. If you know yourself good enough, you won't fear what is coming your way." Mei wanted to teach Aiko a valuable lesson, but this was Dark Aiko. Who knows if she is listening...
The Foxes formed groups. One was looking for rocks, pebbles, anything that was not pure sand. Then there was another group of Foxes. Those Foxes were digging around, looking for bigger rocks or anything under the sand that was usable to throw.
"I wonder what they are doing." Witch Aiko was curious, but from her chair she couldn't see enough!
"They are digging." Mei shrugged. "What is the score?"
"About 50,000 Spirit Stones." Dai Lu chuckled.
"Oh, right." Witch Aiko immediately changed the topic. "Where were you?"
Mei stiffened briefly. This didn't escape Witch Aiko's eyes, but she would ignore it for now.
"We were discussing things with the Southern Sect's Grandmaster." Mei coughed, like she suddenly remembered that Aiko was looking for her.
"Oh? What was that about?" Witch Aiko was curious since she viewed the Southern Sect as not too bad. There were even some cuties in there, so she would rather them not become an enemy.
"They have character, a bit quirky, but we can get along." Mei had a positive outlook on the future.
"Speaking of which, the Southern Sect will be joining us later on this beach, so we better make a safe zone for the Foxes that are still healing." Mei gestured to Dai Lu, but Witch Aiko really wanted to join her.
"Not you." Mei chuckled. "You have some explain-"
Witch Aiko suddenly pulled out a suggestive swimsuit and Mei froze.
"Hehehe~" Witch Aiko cackled. This was the refined version of the rubber swimsuit, not only was it smoother, with plenty of space for those magnificent peaks, but it even was perfectly shaped for Mei!
"What are you doing?" Mei stood up, immediately hiding behind the chair.
"Nothing?" Witch Aiko said innocently, but her eyes were anything but innocent.
"What are you plotting?" Mei took a nearby paper shade and used it as a shield against Aiko.
"Nothing?" Witch Aiko tilted her head. "But those clothes are not too good for the beach, so I prepared these for you." She smiled from ear to ear, but Mei shuddered.
'I'm an Immortal! I will never wear those clothes!' Mei said with conviction, but... she didn't say it out loud...
*Pft*
On the side, Dai Lu was holding in her laughter, in similar fashion that the Southern Grandmaster was doing.
"Hey!" Mei glared at Dai Lu, as if trying to make her come over.
"Don't worry Mei." Witch Aiko said happily and this time even Dai Lu shuddered.
"Thanks to the hard work of Danji and the Twins, you all have your respective swimsuits~" Witch Aiko hummed happily as she showed them one by one.
But when it came to Dai Lu's swimsuit, and its showcase, a gust of wind interrupted Witch Aiko.
No, it was not a gust of wind! That was Dai Lu using her sword for obliteration!
She obliterated the swimsuit, so that she didn't need to wear it, but since she used all her strength, it... well...
The sea parted. The ocean parted. The ground parted.
An inconspicuous flying ship with holes in its hull were in the same line as Dai Lu swung her sword in.
"Ah-" Dai Lu stiffened, but it was already too late to withdraw her energy.
*BOOOM*
She even sliced a few mountains after slicing apart the flying ship.
"..." Dai Lu wore a stiff expression. She never intended to go that far, but Aiko riled her up so much that she... slipped.
"My bad!" Dai Lu shouted towards the Northern Sect, who was now missing their flying ship.
"MY BAD, MY ASS!" The Elders were infuriated and for a good reason.
"I know you might not believe this, but this was purely an accident!" Dai Lu shouted in her defence.
"BULLSHIT! WHO CUTS FREAKING MOUNTAINS AS ACCIDENT?!" The Elders fumed at her.
"Whoopsie?" Dai Lu stuck out her tongue.
3/4 of the Elders coughed up blood, and the rest immediately fainted. That audacity! That shamelessness! How could she?!
"What do we do now?" Dai Lu immediately turned towards Aiko and Mei. Those two were the best in solving this issue.
"If there is no evidence, we can say nothing happened." Witch Aiko immediately turned on her devil's whisper, tempting Dai Lu using even more cool moves.
Mei's lips twitched. "Are you trying to make this worse?!" She pulled on Aiko's cheek to wake her up.
"Auchie!" Witch Aiko pouted. "But it's not fun ending it like this! We can just make sushi out of them!"
"No!" Mei shook her head.
"Fish bait?" Witch Aiko said innocently.
"Aiko..." Mei sighed.
"So... diving boat?" Witch Aiko tilted her head.
Everyone pursed their lips. They had no idea where the Vicious Jade Fox was coming with such ideas, but this definitely was not a good idea.
Sinking the Northern Sect's flying ship might turn others against them, which was not ideal.
Not because of the current situation, but because of the mainland.
"I was away for a few breaths and what is this?" The Southern Grandmaster came over laughing loudly...
