Luckily, nothing of the sort ended up happening as he managed to reach the Origin Realm in the Dao of Space with little to no effort after a week in seclusion going over his insights from the fragmented continent. Completing the first part of his seclusion.

As for what was so special about reaching the Origin Realm in the Dao of Space? He couldn’t tell for sure yet without proper testing, but one thing was for certain and that was the fact that his soul had clearly undergone some kind of unknown change that allowed him to more deeply integrate with the Dao of Space. Even allowing him to instinctively feel and merge with the spatial environment around him.

Although nowhere near comparable to the full on merging with the surrounding space that those at the Peak of the Void Integration Realm from the fragmented continent of the twenty ninth floor of the tower could accomplish, it was far from weak and allowed him to essentially become immune to most normal attacks while at the same time also boosting the strength of any attacks he unleashed utilizing the Dao of Space.

Of course, that was without mentioning the general increase in both power and control he had gained after his comprehension of the Dao of Space officially crossed over to the Origin Realm. Boosting all his previous abilities that utilized the Dao of space.

Moving on from the improvement in strength he had experienced with his Dao of Space reaching the Origin Realm, Xuan Hao soon enough shifted his attention towards the second and most important part of his seclusion this time around. Breaking through to the Peak of the Land Creation Realm.

Different from the previous three stages of the Land Creation Realm that had been focused on establishing the foundation of the embryonic world that had taken shape inside his dantian. Starting from the Formation Stage at the Early Stage of the Land Creation Realm before moving on to the Expansion Stage at the Middle Stage and then the Foundation Stage at the Late Stage where the embryonic world would be born under normal circumstances, the Peak Stage of the Land Creation Realm wasn’t focused on the continued expansion of the internal world but instead the soul.

Or more specifically, the dao lotus that was home to the soul floating at the very heart of the internal world.

To successfully breakthrough to the Peak of the Land Creation Realm, one would have to anchor the dao lotus to the embryonic world within the dantian. Binding the two together in preparation for the Star Creation Realm. Having the dao lotus truly become the heart of the embryonic world that had taken shape within the dantian.

This anchoring process was the difficult part of breaking through to the Peak of the Land Creation Realm and at the same time also something that would be close to impossible to accomplish without a strong enough Dao to serve as an anchor between the two.

Although he could form an internal world and successfully reach the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm without having his comprehension reach the Origin Realm in any Daos, he couldn’t take the next step forward and reach the Peak of the Land Creation Realm without having at least one Dao reach this level and become strong enough to serve as an anchor.

In fact, even just using a single Dao that had just reached the Origin Realm to serve as an anchor was dubious, but the Dao of Space was especially suited for this kind of breakthrough, as it was far more stable than any other Dao when it came to serving as an anchor.

It was also because of this that he felt confident in proceeding with his breakthrough to the Peak of the Land Creation Realm. Not hesitating for long after he successfully reached the Origin Realm before starting his breakthrough to the Peak of the Land Creation Realm.

The entire process, starting with the spiritual qi inside his dantian churning wildly as a formless chain took shape and began and stretched out from the barren terrain of his internal world, shimmering with a profound radiance as his newly refined spatial laws merged seamlessly together with the chain extended upwards towards the core of his dao lotus.

Unlike the chaotic clash that would have erupted under normal circumstances as the chain tethered itself to the dao lotus, the spatial attribute imbued into the chain allowed it to blend with the surrounding space of the internal world and integrate itself into every part of the nascent world.

And as the chain seemed to be close to linking the two together, a loud explosion echoed out through every corner of the embryonic world as it began trembling violently. In an instant, the peaceful environment collapsed as the entire world inside his dantian was thrown into chaos. The very world itself seemed like it was about to break apart under the sudden explosion that seemed to have originated from the depths of the dao lotus or rather, the soul within the heart of the dao lotus.

And under this pressure, the vast spiritual qi surrounding the landmass within his internal world that had remained dormant since his breakthrough to the Land Creation Realm began churning wildly within his dantian before surging upwards towards the formless chain linking the internal world and the dao lotus together.

This wasn’t an accident or some unexpected surprise, but a deliberate action by Xuan Hao to rapidly strengthen the chain, as by now, countless small cracks had already formed on the surface of the chain. Indicating it was having a difficult time anchoring his dao lotus and in turn soul to the embryonic world within his dantian.

But in the end, with the added assistance of the vast sea of spiritual qi within his dantian, the chain that had begun cracking under the pressure was rapidly restored as he felt the connection between himself and the embryonic world becoming even closer as his soul, residing inside the dao lotus, was being adjusted to using the entirety of the embryonic world as the foundation instead of just the dao lotus alone.

An unbearably painful experience, as it also meant his soul had to adjust to bearing the immense weight of the entire embryonic world, something that was difficult to say the least and could easily shatter one’s soul if one was too careless.

If he didn’t have his Dao of Space at the Origin Realm serve as the main anchoring point between the dao lotus and the embryonic world, he would have already had his soul crushed by the immense pressure.

The chain itself didn’t just alleviate the pressure on his soul, but as it successfully established a link, it also shifted the pressure of the embryonic world away from his soul a bore it on its own. Fully establishing itself before slowly transforming into a translucent mist that merged with the surrounding space of the embryonic world. Disappearing entirely from sight, yet easy to sense, as the anchor had now permanently established itself within his dantian. Serving to bear the burden of the embryonic world on behalf of his soul, as there was no way he would have been able to function normally if he had to also keep worrying about being crushed to death by his own internal world everyone second of the day.

And as the anchor was established, a gentle wave descended from above and washed over his dantian. Calming the churning spiritual qi inside his dantian, while also causing the size of his dantian to expand visibly. Doubling in size within a few short seconds. The entire process coming to an end shortly after, as Xuan Hao felt the changes that had just taken place inside his dantian. Knowing that he had managed to successfully break through to the Peak of the Land Creation Realm.
