Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1938 Behavior Fitting of an Elder

Chapter 1938  Behavior Fitting of an Elder

Thinking about the painfully long process of preparing for the inevitable, Xuan Hao glanced around at the rocky terrain for a few seconds before turning around to leave ascension secret realm. Feeling like there wasn't much purpose in him exploring the ascension secret realm, as he doubted it would be much different from what he had already seen.

But instead of going out to look for someone who was ready to make the leap of faith and attempt a breakthrough to the Soul Ascension Realm, Xuan Hao instead decided to take a stroll around the sect to see how it had developed during the seven years that he had mostly spent on growing the size of his spiritual sea, comprehending the Dao or teaching his disciples.

After all, while he and his disciples became stronger, so did the sect, a quick sweep of the Shattered Star Peaks with his divine sense easily revealed that the overall strength of the sect had significantly increased compared to the past, with Soul Ascension Realm Elders being far more numerous compared to before. Even if most of those new Soul Ascension Realm Elders came from the original Domain Lord Realm cultivators that had been recruited by him in the past in a bid to complete a certain quest from the system.

In a way, it was also because of this that he wasn't that affected by the deaths of those going through their first tribulation in a bid to reach the Soul Ascension Realm, as they were people, he had been rather unfamiliar with outside of a potential one-time encounter when recruiting them to join the sect in the past.

Although… This wasn't entirely unsurprising, as the size of the Star Shattering Sect had become far too large for him to get familiar with every single sect elder.

The only person capable of doing something like that was Elder Song… And it was maybe because of this that he had been the person most excited about the existence of the ascension secret realm, as outside of it increasing the chances of sect elders breaking through to the Soul Ascension Realm, it would at the same time also improve the survival rate of those going through their heavenly tribulation.

Not just the ones breaking through from the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm to the Soul Ascension Realm, but it would also increase the success rate of those going through their second, third, fourth and so on tribulation of the Soul Ascension realm.

Overall, a perfect addition to sect… If it worked… As he was still rather skeptical about the rock filled secret realm's ability to help someone in overcoming a heavenly tribulation.

Shaking his head at this thought, Xuan Hao slowly stepped out of the ascension realm tower before stepping onto the wide path connecting the ascension realm tower to the Combat Hall. The space between the two locations having unsurprisingly become the most popular space for the younger disciples with a passion for combat to gather, as they either planned out their next attempt at conquering a floor inside the ascension realm tower or a trip to the Combat Hall to hone their combat techniques or digest what they had learnt during a trip to the ascension realm tower through practice.

Without a doubt, it was one of the most lively locations in the sect and at the same time also a place that had several shady stalls popping up without prior approval, though in this case more so meant the disciples selling stuff pricing their things far above average than it being something dangerous that had been banned by the sect.

Among the younger disciples, Xuan Hao could even spot a few familiar elders from the Flying Sword Sect, who had already managed to reach the Domain Lord Realm. Mostly between the first and second stage of the realm.

Although not powerful compared to someone like himself or the stronger sect elders, they were still far stronger than they had ever imagined they would become in the past, as they had originally only been Core Formation Realm Elders during their time as elders of the Flying Sword Sect.

For this reason, these sect elders were especially aware of how lucky they were to be in their current position and had thus ended up taking on the duty of watching over the younger disciples of the sect just in case something ended up happening. Not as a sect mission, but just because they enjoyed the lively sight of the younger disciples happily moving about.

In a way, this behavior that was akin to an older family member kindly watching over the younger generation while at the same time reminiscing about the past in the process was a bit odd given the fact that they weren't exactly old for their cultivation realm and could in a sense be considered youths themselves now that they had broken through to the Domain Lord Realm.

The problem was, like most of the older elders from the Flying Sword Sect or the Spring Flower Sect for that matter, they had been part of the senior generation in the past and couldn't get used to how seeming young they had become for their cultivation realm and remained unchanging in how they acted.

Well… It wasn't exactly a problem so to speak and was rather cute in a way- or that was at least how one of the wandering cultivators who had later been recruited by him to join the sect had described it.

Speaking of which, that sect elder had ultimately ended up becoming dao companions with one of the older sect elders from the Flying Sword Sect. So maybe the comment might not have been directed towards all the elders who had been around for the establishment of the Star Shattering Sect, but more so a specific elder who had later been targeted and in short time captured by this former wandering cultivator now fully fledged elder of the Star Shattering Sect.
