Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1911 Ascension Realm Tower (5)

Chapter 1911  Ascension Realm Tower (5)

Following the appearance of the ascension realm tower, a lot of elders and disciples alike had been taken aback and flocked to the scene to see this mysterious tower that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere right next to the combat hall. If not for Elder Song being among the first people to show up to stop any disciples or elders from recklessly entering the tower, Xuan Hao wouldn't have been able to explore the tower on his own for a few hours.

After all, even though the message he had left behind was enough to discourage most elders and disciples from recklessly entering the ascension realm tower, it was far from enough to stop someone like Mui, who ended up being stopped by Elder Song instead.

By the time Xuan Hao stepped out of the tower, a large number of those who had shown up originally had already left after seeing no changes taking place after an hour of waiting. Not that there weren't still a lot of people around, as Xuan Hao easily counted at least a hundred disciples alongside a dozen or so elders, with the ones standing out the most being none other than Mui, who was currently being held back by Elder Song a few meters from the entrance to the tower.

"Master!"

Unsurprisingly, the second she spotted him coming out of the tower, she rushed past Elder Song before the old man could react.

"Mui- Ah, Xuan Hao, you are out." Only stopping himself from chasing after her after turning around and realizing why Mui had suddenly rushed past him. Knowing that Xuan Hao would be more than capable of dealing with his own disciple before she ended up causing any problems.

"Old Song, it looks like my little disciple has caused you quite a bit trouble." Seeing the way Elder Song reacted like he was about to chase down Mui, Xuan Hao understood that the old man hadn't had it easy trying to restrain her over the past few hours. Making him feel somewhat sorry for old man.

"No worries, I'm used to dealing with that little troublemaker of yours, that aside… What's up with this tower? I take it that it's your doing?" Shaking his head as he told him not to worry about it, Elder Song skillfully turned the conversation towards the tower, towering into the clouds behind him.

Not much different from Mui, it was clear that he was also curious about the tower that had suddenly appeared out of nowhere inside the sect, though… Different from his disciple who wanted to just rush inside to explore the place on her own, he had restrained his curiosity and waited for him to come out.

"The tower… Indeed, it's my doing. The tower is called the ascension realm and…" Nodding his head in response to what Elder Song said, Xuan Hao didn't bother hiding anything from the old man outside of where the tower had come from, as he guided him inside alongside his disciple and Song Jia while explaining the features of the tower and what he intended for it to be used for by the sect in the future.

Of course, when the conversation reached this point, Mui had already dragged Song Jia away and made her way up the spiral staircase to challenge the tower and it was through this single action from his disciple that a few minutes later learnt that you could team up with others to climb the tower together. The main difference being that the floors were more difficult compared to if you did it on your own.

In the process, a few of the scrolls inside the hall of fame that had remained unknown so far also revealed themselves, something that had happened while he and Elder Song had been touring the empty hall of fame of the tower. Making it rather easy for them to notice the second something changed inside the room.

At the same time, Xuan Hao also found out that the tower didn't just note down the name like it did before, but it also listed down the position of the person inside the sect. So, next to Mui's name was the title of personal disciple, while Song Jia had the title of core disciple next to her name.

That aside, after leaving the hall of fame and doing a tour around the shopping section of the tower's ground floor, Elder Song had become extremely excited about the future of the tower and its place inside the sect. Not because the cultivation resources inside the shop were especially rare or powerful, but more so because Xuan Hao clearly explained that they wouldn't run out and would be available to anyone with enough ascension coins.

But what made Elder Song even more excited was him explaining that more cultivation resources would be made available as the elders and disciples progressed further up the tower in the future.

As for where the tower had come from… Elder Song didn't think too much about it and just thought it was some kind of ancient inheritance or special combat training building of an ancient sect that Xuan Hao had managed to find during the time he had spent outside the sect.

Not only didn't Elder Song care, but he felt eager to know if Xuan Hao had anything similar that could benefit the sect. Unfortunately, he was left disappointed, as Xuan Hao didn't have anything like the ascension realm tower on him.

Of course, this didn't stop Elder Song from eagerly encouraging him to climb as high as he could in the tower, as that would unlock more things inside the shop for the disciples to use their ascension coins on in the future.

As for dealing with the integration of the ascension realm tower and granting access to the sect elders and disciples still eagerly waiting outside the entrance to the tower? He would deal with them himself and ensure that a proper system was put in place. Allowing the disciples and elders alike to enter the tower for a small fee in contribution points.

Nowhere near comparable to what would be needed to view the Dao Enlightenment Monument, but around the level of contribution points that were rewarded for completing a relatively challenging mission from the sect or three to four normal difficulty missions. For the sect's elders, it was far simpler to enter, as they would generally have far more contribution points on hand compared to the disciples.

Even then, the price wasn't that high, as the rewards one could get would undeniably be worth it and there wasn't any time limit on how long one could spend inside the ascension realm tower.

Although… One would need to leave eventually for lessons or cultivation.

changed chapter title to be a bit more interesting than just "tower" >.<
