Creepy Pharmacist: All my patients are scary!
Chapter 827: The Re-encountered Quill!
[From a biological perspective of this world's creatures, beings like succubi do indeed possess bodies that are extremely alluring to humans. Whether analyzing their physical structure or their intense desire for intimacy, their instinctive drive to seek out male members of various humanoid races for abnormal mating is simply an expression of their nature.]
[And due to their low Morality and uncontrollable desires, when ordinary creatures engage in mating with succubi, they can easily be drained dry to death by their overwhelming craving. Especially with the kind of dark-corruption-themed material you're looking at right now, if you were to try it casually, you'd very easily end up drained of essence and...]
Slap—
Lynn's eyes flew wide open as he instantly slammed the book shut, sitting up with every hair on his body standing on end.
Something was wrong! Something was definitely wrong!
Back when he'd read this before, this kind of exciting part never had any kind of explanatory text attached to it. Could he be seeing things? But that was impossible—he was completely clear-headed right now!
Could someone have touched his material while he was away? That was even more impossible. He'd coated the seal strip with a vicious concoction—without his special method of removal, anyone who touched it would be doomed!
Then what the hell was this...
He stared at the book in his hands, then slowly, bit by bit, opened it again.
[Nobody touched your material, and you're not seeing things. Put down your book, raise your head, and look at the desk. I'm right there.]Slap—
Lynn instantly shut the book again.
His eyes wide, as if a realization had just struck him, he slowly raised his head, then stiffly parted his two legs that had been propped up on the desk, and peered forward with trembling trepidation.
In that instant.
Lynn finally saw it from between his legs—the quill standing on the desk, gently swaying.
A breeze drifted in through the window, making the curtains rustle noisily. An exceedingly bizarre and discordant tableau of a naked young man and a quill presented itself from that peculiar angle.
[We meet again. Surprised?]
She wrote that line in the air.
Lynn remained frozen, still maintaining that angle of looking through spread legs from the middle.
No.
Surprise wasn't quite the word. Shock would be more like it—and plenty of it.
Although he'd known there was a good chance the quill had already freed herself from the backlash, meeting again in such an awkward form was something even his hardcore brain hadn't anticipated.
"So you're watching me from this angle... and you don't feel even a little bit awkward about that?"
Lynn asked stiffly.
The quill swiveled around, and from that angle, peered at him past a certain object.
[So you walk into a room without even checking if anyone's there, strip completely naked, and start studying that degenerate succubus material... and you don't think that's a bit too far gone into corruption?]
"..."
An eerie silence enveloped the surroundings.
Lynn kept his face rigid as he lowered his two legs from the desk, closed the book in his hands, and leaned seriously over the desk, staring at the quill from every possible angle, scrutinizing it up and down, over and over again.
He stared so intensely that even the quill began to feel uncomfortable.
[What are you doing?]
She wrote those words.
Lynn continued staring hard.
Then suddenly, with lightning speed, he shot his hand out toward the empty chair across the desk—nothing was there—but in an impossibly bizarre twist, even though the space appeared completely vacant, Lynn clearly grabbed hold of something.
"Hey?!"
A startled voice suddenly rang out.
The quill on the desk gave several violent trembles.
A deeply cryptic smile spread across Lynn's taut face as he adjusted his monocle and said:
"Since your true body's already come over, why keep hiding and skulking around? It's not like we've never met before. Are you afraid I might say something strange? Hmm?"
He tilted his chin up in a teasing manner.
Yes.
It was obvious that emotionally, things had undergone a great elevation between them. She no longer set up those barriers that prevented him from touching or making contact with her, the way she used to when they spent time together.
Because in that underground space, they had already bared their hearts to each other and come to understand one another far better.
So she didn't really care all that much about what form she took, and that was why she had been waiting here all along, waiting for him to return. Was that it?
The quill fell silent for a moment, then wrote on the paper:
[Let go. Earlier was unavoidable because you saw through me. But now, even though the backlash is gone, I have no intention of meeting you in my true form. And do you know what you're grabbing right now?]
[If you knew, you would definitely find it disgusting and repulsive. Believe me, you absolutely would.]
Those words were written with unwavering conviction.
But Lynn's lips curled upward as he pinched his monocle and said:
"Is that so?"
"Then why not reveal yourself and let me see? We'll find out whether I have any unusual reaction, won't we? Hmm?"
The quill was clearly getting angry, yet seemed to have no way of dealing with him.
Although writing something to make him go away would be easy enough, she also knew that within two minutes, he'd just walk right back over like nothing had happened.
[Aren't you afraid of something made of sticky tentacles and disgusting cysts all churned together? Even if you're not fully human, physiologically you'd definitely be repulsed by it!]
The quill wrote those words viciously, as if throwing a tantrum.
But she had barely finished writing when—
"You mean like this?"
The quill froze.
Instinctively, she turned to look in his direction.
And in that instant, every single fiber on the quill stood on end.
Across from her, Lynn had already manifested through Cataclysm into exactly the kind of indescribable fleshy mass she had described—tentacles and cysts intertwined, writhing and squelching together. The viscous pus made sickening squishing sounds as it churned, like a nightmare that could only exist in one's darkest dreams.
[Change back! Change back!! Change back!! Don't you dare inflict Visual Pollution on me, or this quill is going to get nasty!!]
In the furious, bristling strokes—
Lynn's body splattered and reformed back to his original appearance, flashing his gleaming white teeth as he said:
"See? Didn't I already tell you? If I'm not afraid of a form like that, then how could I possibly be afraid of you? Hmm?"
The quill(눈‸눈) had completely given up on dealing with this guy.
[Honestly...]
But no matter how much this guy demanded it, she would absolutely never reveal her true form. Even if they were in this very room, even face to face—she absolutely, positively would not.
