Creepy Pharmacist: All my patients are scary!
Chapter 823: Go to Another World?
The moment these words were spoken, the gazes of the Titan Head and the Colossus's Brain flickered simultaneously.
That's right.
This really did seem like a viable course of action.
Since they couldn't confront the threat head-on, if they could hide him somewhere hell's gaze couldn't reach, wouldn't that equally allow him to dodge this calamity?
Why hadn't they thought of that themselves?
Sir Aiwen looked up, observing their contemplative expressions, and said seriously:
"Actually, I've been considering this method for a long time. Regardless of whether hell truly won't make a move against him, there's one thing we should all understand. Now is not the time for an all-out rupture with hell. If hell truly doesn't dare touch him, then sidestepping the issue this way also gives it a way to save face. It provides breathing room for both sides."
"And if hell truly intends to act, and we find ways to keep it from laying eyes on him, then it can't do anything to Lynn anyway, right?"
The Colossus's Brain and the Titan Head's eyes flickered as they pondered his words.
A long moment passed. The Titan Head stared deeply at Sir Aiwen and said, "What do you plan to do?"
Because indeed, this seemed to be the best way to handle the situation.
Sir Aiwen looked at the documents in his hands, adjusted his glasses, and said:
"Let me offer a few feasible suggestions. I'll start with the first one..."
His gaze then fell upon the face of the Colossus's Brain across from him.
"Regarding this aspect, I believe you, Colossus, should have considerable experience. Didn't you avoid hell's lock-on through slumber back in the day, for millennia at that? And now that Lynn is bio-armament-ed with your Colossus's Heart, theoretically speaking, he counts as part of the Colossus as well. So, do you think he might be able to..."
But before he could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by the Colossus's Brain.
She shook her head and said:
"Impossible. My situation is quite special. I didn't actually avoid hell's gaze through slumber. Rather, when I fell, I dismembered myself, using tens of thousands of my own flesh and blood tissues to collectively divert and obscure hell's influence. In a certain sense, this can only really be considered a form of deception."
Her gaze grew somewhat unsteady.
"And we can't possibly have him dismember himself like I did, with every piece of flesh giving birth to its own consciousness to disrupt hell's lock-on. And even if we could, it wouldn't hold much significance anyway."
She lifted her head, her slender fingers trembling slightly as they clenched.
"Because I suspect that hell actually did discover me long ago. It knew of my existence all along but never exposed me. In fact, it could even be seen as some kind of blatant mockery. Letting you cling to hope and suffer for millennia, only to completely shatter that hope the moment you finally rise up."
"In a certain sense, I've actually been enduring some form of punishment for these past three thousand years. I never truly escaped hell's control over me."
When she finished speaking, the surroundings fell into extraordinary silence.
Even the chaotic gaze of the Titan Head seemed to have its hostility toward her slightly diminished.
But her expression remained calm. She simply closed her eyes, shook her head gently, and said:
"It won't work."
Sir Aiwen was silent for a moment and said no more. His gaze returned to his documents, flipping to the next page, and he said:
"In that case, let me share my second suggestion. Compared to the first, this one touches upon my domain, so I'll have a bit more authority to speak on it."
He raised his head, his gaze profound.
"Since we're talking about avoidance, trying to dodge hell's gaze from within hell itself will likely prove difficult no matter how we approach it. So why not send him out of this hell instead? Through a summoning method, having him briefly summoned to an external world. This way, wouldn't it also, to a certain extent, allow him to sidestep that three-day deadline?"
The moment these words were spoken, the gazes of all the Roots stirred.
Being summoned out of this hell...
Is that possible?
Sir Aiwen raised his head and said: "As we all know, the more powerful a being is, the more severe the constraints imposed upon them within this hell. Conversely, relatively weaker creatures don't face the kind of targeted imprisonment and restriction that hell applies to beings like us."
"In fact, at certain times, creatures from many external worlds can use nefarious rituals to summon beings from this hell over to their side to do their bidding. Although once the summoning duration expires, the summoned being is immediately dragged back to hell, this still demonstrates that hell's control isn't always airtight."
He looked seriously at everyone present.
"This hell mainly targets Ancient Gods like us."
The eyes of those several Roots all gleamed with brilliance.
Exactly!
Because if that truly were the case, then this plan was indeed viable. Lynn wasn't an Ancient God, after all. And since this fellow had been spending all his time swindling Roots into becoming his family like some kind of pyramid scheme, his personal strength and rank had never really been properly elevated!
And if they just yanked out his Colossus's Heart with a squelch, and plucked out his eyes with a pop... oh wait, his eyes were already shattered long ago, so no need to worry about that.
And if that were the case.
Being summoned to another world really was an incredibly feasible method!
Sir Aiwen adjusted his glasses, tapped the table, and said seriously: "More importantly, some time ago, he already had one experience of being summoned to another world. And in fact, he didn't receive any particular targeting from hell during that time. This demonstrates that being summoned to another world is definitely viable."
"And if we exclude his brain and various artifacts and bio-armaments from consideration, his current true rank hasn't even reached Transcendent yet. That means the resources required to summon him over would be fewer, making success more likely..."
His fingers drummed rhythmically against the table.
Then a refined smile appeared on his face.
"And more importantly, he already possesses his very own summoning magic circle and targeted incantation. So I'm thinking, if we could spread his incantation and ritual to other worlds through some means, wouldn't that allow him to successfully evade the backlash and gaze coming after the three-day mark?"
When he finished speaking, the eyes of the Titan family and the Colossus's Brain were already gleaming with brilliance.
Yes!
If this could truly succeed, then it would indeed be the best method—saving both time and effort. Just summon him to some random world, let him go wreak havoc over there, and once things blow over, bring him back. There really didn't seem to be any flaw in that plan!
"I think it's feasible."
The Godweaver Head said with malice.
