Class Creator:I Can Create Infinite Classes
Chapter 55 Chaotic
Chapter 55: Chapter 55 Chaotic
Later that morning, Lars returned to his usual routine, selling Class Books. This time, he planned to release the three new classes he had promised.
He listed the Rare-rank Battle Reaper and Ice Warlock with a starting bid of 50,000 Zents and no lock price. That was much cheaper than VolcaCorp, whose Rare-rank Class Books started at 70,000–80,000 Zents. Meanwhile, the Uncommon-rank Tempest Duelist started at 40,000 Zents.
Many people would probably wonder why he was selling them at such low starting prices. Well, there was actually a catch. He added a seller’s note that immediately made everyone anxious.
---
Seller’s Note:
Battle Reaper and Ice Warlock are extremely limited Class Books. Don’t miss the chance to obtain these powerful classes, because once they’re gone, you may never find them again.
---
The moment the listings went live, the entire Bid Market erupted into an uproar. Even from inside his private auction room, Lars could hear the commotion outside.
"Hehehe! Now, gather all the money from your savings, take out loans if you have to, and hand it all over to me!" Lars grinned. If anyone saw his expression right now, they would probably mistake him for a villain.
The bidding exploded almost instantly. In less than ten minutes, both Rare-rank Class Books had already climbed to nearly 100,000 Zents each.
And judging by the pace of the bidding, they showed no signs of slowing down over the next twenty-four hours.
Even Melodie ended up calling Lars.
(Lars! Please sell me the Ice Warlock and Tempest Duelist Class Books! I will pay whatever price you want!)
She sounded desperate. However, Lars wasn’t swayed. He had his own rules, and Melodie was no exception.
"Sorry. If you want them, you will have to join the bidding like everyone else " Lars replied.
(Grrr!)
Melodie let out an angry growl from the other end of the phone.
On the other side, VolcaCorp was severely affected. The bidding on their Class Books had started to slow down, and for some of them, it had even come to a complete stop.
Many bidders immediately regretted placing their bids after seeing the Class Books that Lars had released. The difference between the two was like heaven and earth.
(Ahhh! I really regret bidding on this Class Book. Hey, can I withdraw my bid after placing it?)
(Sorry, dude! I don’t think that’s possible.)
(Nooo!)
Arun was furious when he found out about it. He immediately ordered his staff to finalize the sales of every Class Book that had already received bids before the bidders changed their minds.
"Anonymous214! You’re really making my life miserable!" he shouted.
Meanwhile, several local television stations were also discussing the newly released Class Books.
They provided in-depth analyses of the classes and their potential, making Anonymous214’s latest release the hottest topic among hunters.
"Mr. Reid, what can you tell us about these new classes released by Anonymous214?"
"Ahem. Based on my observations, the Battle Reaper is a specialized assassin class that abandons stealth in favor of becoming stronger as the battle drags on. It is best suited for battles of attrition. The longer the fight lasts, the more powerful the Battle Reaper becomes."
"As for the Ice Warlock, it is honestly an incredible mage class. Its core mechanic is to overwhelm enemies with devastating frost spells and continuous magical pressure. It can also manipulate the battlefield with ice. If I had to put my money on one of these classes, I would choose this one."
"And lastly, the Tempest Duelist may be inferior compared to the other two, but it is still a top-tier class among the Uncommon rank. It combines swordsmanship with the power of thunder, creating a swift and aggressive swordsman."
Even non-hunters had become excited to follow the latest developments surrounding the Class Book. The bidding war had become a major event in its own right.
Watching everything unfold was Beatrix, the co-owner of the Dungeon Hub in District 21.
She was currently observing the bidding war on a large monitor as the prices continued to climb, now approaching 200,000 Zents after just one hour.
"Lady Beatrix, are we really just going to watch him continue like this? If this keeps up, he could monopolize the market on his own. That wouldn’t be healthy for the local region," Valencia said. The pink-haired woman stood beside her, dressed in a blazer and skirt.
Beatrix rested her pen against her lips as she continued watching the screen in silence.
"What do you estimate the final price of these Class Books will be?" Beatrix asked.
"Based on the current projections, I can safely say they could reach 500,000 Zents within half a day. However, there’s also a small 4% chance that each of the Rare-rank Class Books could reach 1 million Zents by the end of the 24-hour auction," Valencia replied.
"1 million. So that’s 2 million Zents from just two Class Books. That’s actually quite insane, don’t you think, Valencia?" Beatrix smiled.
"Yes, Lady Beatrix! That’s exactly why I think we should stop this as early as possible. Otherwise, that guy will start treating the Southern region like his own personal bank," Valencia said.
"Another thing I’m curious about is, where did he get all of these Rare Class Books? Have you found any clues about which dungeon they came from, or whether they were purchased from an underground seller?" Beatrix asked.
"Unfortunately, we haven’t found any clues regarding their origin, which is what makes this so strange. It’s almost as if..."
"He’s the one creating these classes?" Beatrix interrupted.
"Yes, that’s one of the conclusion I came to. But that’s impossible, isn’t it, Lady Beatrix? The idea that someone could actually possess such an ability is simply absurd." Valencia said, trying to dismiss her own speculation
"There’s nothing impossible in our world. If every other possibility has already been ruled out, then this is the only explanation left. Start contacting him, Valencia. I want to meet him face to face." A faint smile appeared on Beatrix’s face.
Meanwhile, Lars had no idea what he was about to get himself into in the near future.
