"Damn it!"

Max cursed loudly as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. He was unable to maintain himself in the air and touched the ground, immediately resetting his damage boost.

The longest he could remain airborne was only around 10 seconds. After that, he found it difficult to connect one skill to another and keep himself in the air.

He tried again.

Max charged toward one of the monsters and used Skyward Cleave, launching it into the sky. He then activated Heaven Step to reach the airborne enemy and struck it with both of his swords.

He had no problem attacking with the sword in his right hand. But the left one was a different story. He had never used two swords before, so every strike from his left sword was noticeably weaker and more awkward.

"That class looks really hard to use, doesn’t it?" Justin asked Lars.

"Yeah. It seems so," Lars replied.

Both of them were sitting on the other side of the area, watching Max fight. Right now, they were already on the 29th Floor.

For the past nine floors, most of the fighting had been done by Max, with Lars helping him a little from time to time. But with Max’s new class, he could easily defeat the monsters even without properly using its main mechanics.

But knowing Max, he was someone who would never give up until he figured out how to use it properly.

At the same time, Lars could also learn how to use the class’s skills by watching Max.

"What are the viewers saying on your channel? Are they excited?" Lars asked.

"Not really. Most of them are mocking him for trying to perform an aerial combo that they think is impossible. But I don’t blame them. Viewers only want to see the result. Lars simply listened. There was some truth in what Justin said.

Perhaps that was simply human nature.

After all the monsters were defeated, Max walked toward them.

"How is it, Max? Do you already regret changing your class?" Lars smirked at him.

"No way. This class is way better. I just need to find a way to get used to it. But I’m sure that once I do, this class’s potential will be magnificent," Max said excitedly.

"That’s good to know." Lars smiled. He knew his old friend wouldn’t give up that easily.

After resting for a few minutes, they continued their raid.

The boss on Floor 30 was basically the bosses from Floors 10 and 20 fighting together. This time, Lars joined the fight as well.

His other goal during this raid was to maximize the Efficiency of his classes so he could gain more CP.

With the power of Max’s new class, the boss fight became much easier. Max was overwhelming throughout the entire fight. He kept moving through the air and attracting the bosses’ attention while Lars continuously bombarded them with spells.

In just 20 minutes, both bosses collapsed onto the floor.

They then rested for a while. This was the pattern they followed until they finally reached the last floor. Overall, it took them almost six hours to get there.

Throughout the journey, Max kept swinging his left sword whenever he had the chance, trying to get used to wielding it. By now, it felt much less awkward.

"Alright, final boss. You ready, Lars?" Max asked.

"I’m good to go," Lars replied.

The final boss was a giant long-nosed monkey wielding two swords, one in each hand. It looked menacing. But that wasn’t the main problem.

The boss arena consisted of five large platforms separated by wide gaps. One wrong step, and they would fall to their deaths.

"Fighting a boss while watching every step... this really takes it to another level," Lars said.

Lars would rather die to the boss than fall into the abyss. But the disadvantage of the Revive Crystal was that he would be revived all the way back on the 1st Floor.

There was no way Lars wanted to raid the entire dungeon all over again.

"Lars, let me fight this boss alone. This stage is specifically designed for me," Max said.

"Yes, I think so too. Good luck." Lars quickly agreed.

There was no way he was going to fight in that kind of situation. He then changed his class to Divine Ranger, preparing to support Max from a distance.

Max then attacked the boss, and a fierce battle ensued.

At first, Max was being overwhelmed. The boss was extremely fast and agile, easily avoiding most of Max’s attacks. It was also because Max had to divide his attention between fighting and watching his footing.

However, as the battle continued, the balance slowly began to tip toward Max.

He started remaining in the air more frequently. With Heaven Step, he could propel himself through the air. The secret of the skill was that after using it, Max needed to attack an enemy before the skill would reset.

Keeping that in mind, Max finally started to counterattack.

On the other side, Lars was also helping. Whenever Max was injured, he would shoot an arrow straight at him.

But Lars had no reason to explain himself. To him, Divine Ranger was his secret class. It was something he planned to keep only for himself and never sell to anyone.

After nearly 30 minutes, the boss entered its berserk state. Max then jumped high into the air and looked down at the boss. He raised both of his swords into the sky.

This was the beginning of one of his ultimate skills.

"Heavenly Cross Execution!"

Max unleashed a massive X-shaped cross slash. At the same time, two enormous slashes traveled downward and struck the boss and the surrounding area, causing a powerful explosion that blinded everyone nearby.

Lars and Justin had to cover their eyes.

After a few seconds, they slowly opened them and saw a massive X-shaped mark of destruction carved into the ground, with the boss’s corpse lying at the center.

"Wow..." Lars and Justin said at the same time.

Max slowly floated back toward the ground and let out a satisfied sigh.

"You were amazing, Max! You looked just like a hero in a movie!" Justin said.

"Nice, Max! It seems like you’re getting better," Lars added.

"Thank you. I think I’m starting to love this class." Max smiled before looking at Lars. "Thank you, Lars. I... I don’t even have enough words to say how grateful I am. Even if I worked myself to the bone, I might never have gotten my hands on a class this powerful. I’ve never felt this excited in my life."

"No problem. Just master the class already and help me clear dungeons faster in the future," Lars said.

After collecting the loot, all three of them touched the Exit Portal and left the dungeon.

They took a nap in their rented room. Lars and Max slept deeply while Justin stayed awake, updating his channel. After a few hours of sleep, they felt energized again and continued raiding dungeons. But this time, the dungeons they entered were smaller ones, with only around 15 to 20 floors each.

After spending nearly an entire day at the Megalopolis, they finally finished their raid.

"Urgh! My body stinks! I need to take a shower right after I get home." Justin said as he smelled his shirt.

"But didn’t you say the rewards would be used to pay off my debt for the Class Book?"

"That’s only for dungeon rewards. This one isn’t. Didn’t you already agree to take 50% of the deal? Or if you don’t want it, I will happily take it."
