Claimed by the Mad Lycan King
Chapter 144: THEY CAME OVER
Jazz was Altair’s gamma. Unlike Zephyr, however, Jazz was a werewolf. This meant that he didn’t have the same long lifespan as Zephyr or the other shifters with Lycan blood.
That was why he and Blake called Zephyr ’Old Man;’ he was ancient compared to them, and it always managed to rile him up.
Even so, the three of them looked as if they were the same age. Jazz was only twenty-nine, while Blake was twenty-eight.
"And don’t touch that cheese! Damn! Get out of my kitchen, you mutts!"
You could tell that this was not the first time they had had this encounter, since they were the gammas of their respective kingdoms; they met more often than their kings did.
"Chill, old man." Blake walked past him with a soda can in his hand. "We are going to have the longest conversation in the century, so we need all the energy that we can get before it starts. I suggest that you eat as well, filling your stomach to the fullest, because we all know how thorough those Lycans can be. We need to survive at least until dinner time."
Blake was slightly taller than Jazz; he had black buzz-cut hair and looked like he had just been discharged from the military. His skin was a tone darker than Zephyr and Jazz.
Jazz had short blond hair and blue eyes, though his blue eyes were not as bright as the Lycans’. He was currently eating his third piece of bread.
Even though annoyed, Zephyr knew Blake was right; he took another bread and spread different jam on it.
"So, King Zade has a mate?" Jazz leaned over, and Blake followed. "How is it having her around? My king seems to have an allergy to women; honestly, I have never seen him with anyone or even heard a rumor about it."
"At least your king can work; mine is too delicate; he spends his day lazing around," Blake complained.
With that, the three Gammas began to gossip, forgetting their earlier quarrel as they updated each other on the happenings around their kings and the situations in their kingdoms.

Jeremy couldn’t believe he was in this current situation. How could he end up with his mother, Seara, and Chloe? And why were the three women experimenting on him with the nail art Chloe had just bought?
"Can you all stop it? I am not assigned by the king for this," Jeremy whined, but one look from Leia and he shut up immediately.
Currently, he was sitting on a chair while the three women surrounded him, painting his nails so they could see how the color would look when it was applied.
"This shade of red looks darker than this one; I think this suits you better," Chloe said to Leia, comparing Jeremy’s forefinger and his pinky, which had been painted in different shades of red.
However, Jeremy couldn’t see what the difference was. Both of them looked the same! Why were these women so meticulous?
He had just learned that there were so many shades of red. In his eyes, it was simply red. And apparently, every shade had its own name. He learned useless things today.
"And for you, here, use this. Zade likes the brown color," Chloe said. She gave Seara a nail polish bottle with brown liquid in it.
But Leia took away the bottle and pinched Chloe’s cheek. "Zade doesn’t like the brown color," she said in a reprimanding tone, because she knew what Chloe was up to.
"Aw, Mom, I am just kidding." Chloe didn’t seem regretful.
"Zade doesn’t really have a favorite color, honey," Leia said to Seara, who had been very quiet. "But I think he has been liking yellow now since that’s your favorite color."
Seara lifted her head and smiled sweetly at Leia. "I know. He will also like the brown color if I say I like it."
Hearing that, Chloe pursed her lips and continued painting Jeremy’s nails, ignoring Seara’s statement as if she didn’t hear anything.
"Can I leave now?" Jeremy asked. He felt so embarrassed to have five different colors and shades on his nails.
"No, you are assigned to be with Seara, right? So you can’t go anywhere, Son." Leia smiled triumphantly; she knew Zade would find a better way to keep Jeremy in check.
And with this, she could spend more time with Seara and Jeremy.
But right at that time, Jeremy’s phone rang. He picked it up and saw Oliver’s name on the screen. He immediately picked it up and used it as an excuse to get away from them.
"What? You are here?" Jeremy was surprised because Oliver had come with Jude.
"You accidentally brought my book, and I need that. Good thing I am nearby, so I thought I would come over to take the book," Oliver replied. "I am with Jude."
"Oh, okay. Tell the guard that you can come in," Jeremy said. He didn’t realize that he had taken Oliver’s book until he called the other day, but because of what happened with the devil here, he couldn’t bring it back to him.
Moreover, they had a long break; that’s why they wouldn’t meet at the college.
And because this was not the first time for Oliver to come over, Jeremy didn’t need to meet him at the gate; he could simply wait here for them.
"Mom, Oliver and Jude are here," Jeremy informed his mother.
"Oh, your cute friends?" Chloe said with a giggle. She had helped the three of them during the exam so she knew them.
"They are not cute, Chloe," Jeremy replied sullenly.
"It’s okay, you are the cutest," Chloe winked at Jeremy, teasing him, and Seara swore she saw how red Jeremy’s ears were before he stormed out of the room.
"You have to stop teasing him, Chloe." Leia took Seara’s hand and started to polish the red color on her nails.
"What? Does he still have a crush on me?" Chloe giggled.
