Somewhere near the sea borders of the Dark Continent, there was an archipelago country called the Coralara.

It was a country without a true ruler or president leading it. It was because it had become a hub of multiple criminal and notorious organizations.

Instead, it was under the control of a united front established by different groups and organizations that were based here.

Sea Mercenaries and Pirates were quite common in this place. In fact, quite a lot of islands were occupied by pirates, treating them as their main base, particularly the smaller islands, which had been turned into a fortress.

The larger islands, on the other hand, had become the main hub, where multiple groups were gathered and conducting their trades.

Due to the Dark Continent situated right beside this archipelago country, this place was quite lawless, where strength spoke for everything.

Whoever had the largest fist was always right, while those with weaker strength could do nothing but comply and give up everything.

However, due to the united front of the largest and strongest groups and organizations residing in this place, a bit of order was implemented.

Those who broke the rules that the united front had created were meant to face the wrath of all the organizations included in it.

If there was another large force that wanted to do something funny behind the others, then the others would have to join forces and destroy them according to the agreement that they had made.

Meanwhile, if there was another huge force coming from the outside and wanted to join their united front, then they had to pay a huge price before they could even get a slice of the pie.

However, if the outside force was someone posing a threat, then the united front would have to join forces and fight against the external threat together to maintain their position.

This system had already been running in this form for decades until one entity suddenly emerged and swallowed everything up.

Moreover, this maneuver was done in extreme secrecy, which was why no one noticed it until it was already too late. Aside from that, none of the public knew about the sudden change of power, foolishly believing that the united front was still the one ruling the entire place.

Little did they know that a powerful existence had already controlled everything in the shadows.

The Coralara was extremely profitable due to the businesses that were conducted there, especially when there were quite a few priceless treasures circulating as goods within the market.

It was because of this that there were quite a lot of forces coveting this archipelago country.

Unfortunately, the might of the united front was a bit too powerful even for those huge organizations operating in the Dark Continent.

On top of this, they also had the environmental advantage, especially the pirates that set up their main base here were quite powerful themselves.

However, this entity that had swallowed everything up had taken a different approach.

Instead of trying to take over the entire place by force, they had chosen to use control over the livelihood of the country, instead of its market.

By manipulating the flow of goods and luring some of the old residents of the place to their side, before slowly eating up everything.

Little cracks appeared everywhere until the system that the united front had created slowly collapsed right before their eyes.

Even their unrivalled powers and unchallenged authorities disappeared right after facing the ‘people’ themselves.

What would happen if a body lost its limbs? It would become useless and unable to do anything.

This was how the Black-Market Organization had taken over such a strategic place without using their military forces.

Destroying their enemies from within was one of their specialties, aside from making deals and creating business opportunities with their ‘partners’.

“The Coralara was one of the most important bases of the Black-Market Organization, which also provided them quite a lot of profit,” said Nathan while looking at the archipelago from high up in the sky and hiding from the clouds.

“Once we have struck it, it will be the same as declaring war on them,” he added.

Beside him, Scar squinted his eyes before commenting. “Your Springfield Family sure is a crazy bunch. Your hands are already full when dealing with the Black Serpent Mafia, yet here you are wanting to provoke yet another major underworld organization.”

Hearing this, Nathan smirked before asking. “Do you know why our family is known throughout the world?”

He did not wait for Scar to answer and just continued. “First, our family is strong. Everyone from the direct line is a genius beyond compare, while the elders are true warriors.”

“Second, our military forces are among the strongest throughout the world,” he said before continuing. “And third, most of our family ancestors are still alive.”

“There are only a dozen or so Transcendent Experts throughout the world, including those who are purposely hiding themselves and those who have detached themselves from worldly matters,” he then paused for a moment before smirking smugly. “But four of them are from our family.”

Hearing this, Scar did not comment instantly, still unconvinced. “The so-called Transcendent Realm Experts are nothing but a product of the new system and just one of its branches.”

Nathan did not refute and even nodded. “You are right. In truth, training mentalism is much harder than martial arts, yet there are more Exalted Realm Mentalists around the world when the two are compared in numbers.”

“Then there are those eccentric Sword Saint Paragons and the old monsters from the old system, such as your Warrior Tribes.”

“There are also those abominations like the Mechanical Dullahan of the Sun-Moon Continent and the Old Ancestor of the Green Family.”

He then smirked before asking. “However, are there any other forces out there who has as many experts of that level as us?”

Scar thought for a moment, trying to find the answer. Their Asad Tribe might have always been isolated from most of the events of the world, but they were still aware of the top powers that were ‘ruling’ out there.

Even at their ancestral land, the most powerful tribes only had two supreme elders with similar powers as the peak powerhouses of the current system. The others that could also be considered as the strongest tribe had a single supreme elder with absolute strength that could rival two powerhouses with similar power.

Here, in the outside world, some forces had quite a few of them within their respective organizations, but they could not be considered as a whole entity.

After all, some rivalries or internal conflicts still existed.

Even the top powerhouses of the Shadow Alliance and World Government had their own issues as well, even though they were rumored to have a similar number of such powerhouses as the Springfields.

Even then, both forces only had three powerhouses of such level at most, which were addressed as the Shadow Masters and the World Leaders, respectively.

Moreover, they were from different systems as well, and unlike the old monsters of the Springfield Family, who grew from the current power system of the Martial Arts.

Two of those old monsters of the Springfields were much older than the elders from the previous generation, such as the members of the Elders’ Council.

The other two were the old ancestors who were rumored to have lived for more than a couple of centuries. It was even said that they were among the generation who had established the early stages of the current power system in terms of Martial Arts.

Even though they had never shown themselves and were said to be in deep seclusion, isolating themselves from the worldly matters of the current generation.

There were even rumors that these two ancestors had already left the world, but it had never been confirmed. Moreover, no one was willing to test the waters and actively provoke the Springfield Family.

After all, the other two ‘younger’ ancestors were more than enough to discourage everyone.

However, the fact that the Black Serpent Mafia had made a move against such a scary family indicated that they were not worried about that.

There were even rumors about how a group of people with extremely powerful realms appeared during the last biggest incident at the Soaring Continent, which also involved Jan Mateo, the Great Demon, and forced Adam, the Heavenly Demon, to appear.

Even a few experts from the World Government made their brief appearance at that time.

Scar shook his head, unable to refute Nathan’s words. He must admit that the Springfield Family was an extremely powerful entity, which only a few could afford to provoke.

There was a reason why they were called the Dragon Family by everyone.

Now that this family was getting even more active alongside the other powerful forces throughout the world, Scar could not help but recall what the current Matriarch of the Asad Tribe had told him before they set out.
