Chaos and Order - A Multiverse Fanfic

Chapter 1190: Key To Successful Conspiracy - Observe All Unpredictable Events!

The destruction of the Immortal Lotus Array, which had been sealing the three Characters and four Contestants in a separate dimension, had resulted from Death the Artificer attacking the two Half-Deep Ones, affecting the Six Imperishable Artifacts and all of Avalon in the process.

That event had occurred outside the timelines, though, and was limited to the great emptiness of the Harry Potter Bubble.

Only a select few, who were connected to either party involved in this Bubble-shaking battle, managed to get a hint of it.

Coincidentally, the moment the destroyed Sealing Array spilled its contents back into the Mirror timeline, Shirou also plunged Rule Breaker into the Black Death Coffin, summoned by the Pillar Madam Villanelle.

The timing of Shirou breaking the Black Death Spell became one of the most fortunate parts of the entire War. Because if he had been late by a few more moments, it would have resulted in a disaster... an even greater disaster than what ended up occurring anyway.

The Immortal Lotus Array — created by layering seven different Bounded Fields — had been working not only as a Seal, but also as a Container.

The Six of the Order of the Immortal Lotus had already planned to kill Yellow Warlock within the Array.

Discussing it after seeing how the War was progressing had been nothing but a formality.

So, even then, they had known they would be sending three blades to hack off the heads of the Yellow Warlock and Ekrizdis... possibly Black Phoenix, if he intervened... in the form of three 12th Floor Contestants.

Thus, the Imperishable Artifacts had designed the Array to hold that much power as well.

Once the battle between a Deep One and two Half-Deep Ones shook them to their roots, their Magic failed to feed the Sealing Array, resulting in the abrupt release of the ruins of Nurmengard Castle and the people back to their original location.

The vast majority of the Wizards, Witches, and Magical Creatures in the Mirror timeline were gathered at particular hot spots at that time. Meanwhile, the Muggles had carried on with their business, oblivious to the death and destruction that would fall upon them.

The Pillars had planned to execute a lightning-fast attack on the wizarding community before proceeding to eliminate the Muggles.

It didn’t matter, though.

The moment the broken and battered Nurmengard Castle reappeared on the snowy peak, power fell upon everything and everyone.

This was the first time that a Contestant as powerful as a top-level 12th Floor Contestant... a touch stronger, perhaps... had unleashed the full extent of her strength.

Even if it happened inadvertently, Cash had no intention of reining in her anger.

Not after the words Ekrizdis had hissed in her ears just before the Sealing Array had ceased to exist.

And all that power was not something Characters of a mere Mirror timeline could handle, even if that Mirror was on the verge of becoming a Pillar.

With a BOOM, a blue-turquoise pulse shot out from Nurmengard Castle and covered the entire planet almost instantly.

Those who were on the verge of dying because of the Black Death or any other reason, whether Wizard, Witch, Magical Creature, or Muggle, met an instant death.

The rest, either luckier or healthier, lost consciousness, their eyes rolling back.

It didn’t stop there, though.

If Cash remained standing in her place for one more moment — just one — then all those who didn’t possess any Timeline Providence would also end up dying.

It was as if, simply by existing, Cash had become a proxy for the Pillars in this War, finishing what they had started hours ago in the blink of an eye.

So, before that dark fate could play out, the Mirror Timeline grabbed her and Darth Kars and flung them out of the planet.

...

Shae, the Golden Mage, a mere 7th Floor Contestant, lay half-buried in the mud, bloodied beyond description.

There were gashes on her body that ran finger-deep, with whitish hints of bone clearly visible here and there. She barely had any clothing left, either. Against the grandness with which she had arrived in this world for her Main Mission, she seemed... bleak and bereaved.

Not far from her lay two more figures. Not the Contestants she had summoned to help with her Mission, as they were already dead — hunted. These two figures belonged to the hunters.

Dobby and Winky — the House-Elves!

Neither of them had any idea what had been happening in the rest of the world.

The Bounded Field around the Hogwarts Grounds had trapped even House-Elves.

So, even when Darcie had called out Dobby’s name several times, he hadn’t heard her at all.

With no new command, the two House-Elves had continued to do what Dumbledore had asked them to do months ago: Hunt the Dark Wizards who had harmed Darcie and her friends.

This was especially true for Winky, who believed these Dark Wizards had killed Master Crouch’s entire family, turning her from a sad case of a House-Elf into an immeasurably powerful magical monster.

However, just before they could finish the hunt, Cash’s presence had left them gasping in the darkness.

With the Timeline throwing her out, though, that effect gradually began losing its hold.

Dobby groaned as he stumbled his way to his feet, holding his head.

The world was spinning in his bulbous, green eyes.

"Dobby..." Winky squeaked, spinning on her feet. "... Kill her... Kill her..."

For a moment, Dobby didn’t know what Winky meant by that horrible word.

Instead, the first thing that came to his mind was an urge to look for Miss Darcie.

But with that name, Dobby finally began recalling the hunt Professor Dumbledore had put him and Winky on.

With that, he also recalled the last dark witch whom they had just finished before losing their bearings.

So, with urgency, and bearing that horrible, queasy feeling, Dobby’s head snapped left and right, searching for the witch.

When his eyes did find the woman, instead of being delirious like him, she was staring back with a smile on her face — a face that didn’t have the same eyes as before.

"My-my..." Shae muttered, rubbing her muddy thighs against each other. "I always wondered...

"... do House-Elves fuck the same way as people?"
