Jane Sampson glanced at the gift box’s packaging, thanked them, and guessed, "Is it a purse?"

"Yes, it’s a new style two-in-one wallet," Julie Sampton nodded. "Knowing you’re pregnant, she went online to find a gift, and happened to see this purse. She asked me to go to the specialty counter and see if I could buy it off the shelf. Luckily, I got it. The wallet isn’t big, it’s two-in-one, and can be crossbody, very practical."

Julie Sampton thought for a moment and added, "Oh, it’s pink, a really soft pink. If you have a daughter, when she grows up a bit, you can give it to your daughter to use."

"Thank her for me. I really like it," Jane Sampson knew which purse it was.

It’s a new two-in-one wallet launched by G this year, and the pink is truly youthful. At the time she noticed it, the domestic counter hadn’t received it yet. Later, one thing led to another, and she forgot.

"As long as you like it," Julie Sampson breathed a sigh of relief, "It certainly suits you, forever eighteen."

"I like that phrase!" Jane Sampson patted her own belly, "Even as a pregnant woman, still at an eighteen-year-old girl level."

"Are you two done yet? Can we order? I’m hungry," Bright Sampton saw the two could talk for so long about a bag and feared if he didn’t speak up, they’d talk for one hour.

Jane Sampson laughed, flipped through the menu, ordered her dishes, and then handed the menu to Bright Sampton, "Hurry up and order, can’t let you starve."

"Do women always talk endlessly like this?" Bright Sampton quickly took the menu, without much hesitation, ordered his food.

Knowing Julie Sampton doesn’t mind paying for this meal, even though dining abroad is not cheap, Bright Sampton ordered without hesitation.

Pregnant women can’t drink wine, so Bright Sampton ordered Jane Sampson a glass of apple juice, while he and Julie Sampton opened a bottle of wine.

The restaurant’s business was good, and at this meal time, almost every seat was taken. If it weren’t for having an early appointment, coming at meal time might not guarantee a spot.

Jane Sampson, Bright Sampton, and Julie Sampton sat in a place that wasn’t secluded, so naturally, some recognized Jane Sampson.

Still, those who could afford to dine here weren’t just ordinary people. Everyone had enough decency not to disturb Jane Sampson but just sat and glanced surreptitiously in her direction.

"Come, let’s toast," Bright Sampton raised his wine cup, "Wishing Julie Sampton a smooth journey, and may she and her boyfriend get married soon."

"The first part is okay, skip the second," Julie Sampton shrugged, raised her cup, "Wishing you and Jane good health, and may things go as you hope."

The three exchanged smiles, raised their cups, and gently clinked them.

Thinking back half a year ago, no one would dare imagine Julie Sampton and Jane Sampson sitting together so harmoniously, dining, raising wine cups, and talking mutual blessings.

Julie Sampton took a sip of wine, put down her wine cup, and sighed quietly, "If I hadn’t been like that in the past, maybe the three of us could’ve sat peacefully eating and chatting together long ago. Come to think of it, having siblings in the house really isn’t bad."

"Isn’t it your fault, always acting as if the whole world owes you something," Bright Sampton spoke bluntly.

"I know." Julie Sampton nodded, "Jillian Carter passed away, and these few days, I’ve been pondering one question."
