Celestial Night Emperor
Chapter 247: I Promise You
Chapter 247: Chapter 247: I Promise You
Liu Huaxia had been scared absolutely witless.
He was once high and mighty, the Chief Instructor of the Martial Arts Arena. The three thousand men under his command were all disciples from the Battle Department who followed him.
This time, he had even received the support of Grand Commander Luo Qilin, returning to Jin City with a squad of Personal Guards to handle matters. Naturally, he was full of ambition and bursting with pride.
But on the way, he was intercepted by Wutian.
A fight broke out on the spot.
In the end, Wutian’s side had only sent two people, and they had crippled all of his men.
Liu Huaxia didn’t even have the strength to fight back; Wutian broke one of his arms right then and there.
How could he not be afraid?
Now, lying on a stretcher, he cried out that he was wrong to anyone he saw, begging only to be allowed to live.
Sun Xiong and his cronies watched, stunned.
The man they saw as an invincible symbol had just been toppled so easily.
Qin Tianxuan was growing impatient. "Have you had a good look? Sun Xiong stays. The rest of you can break one of your own hands and then get lost!"
Sun Xiong’s lackeys trembled, hesitating as if they wanted to say something.
Qin Tianxuan frowned. "Can’t do it? Wutian, give them a hand."
Wutian appeared in a flash.
After a few sharp CRACKS of breaking bones, the group was dragged away, wailing in agony.
All that was left was Sun Xiong, who was hoisted up by Wutian.
"Sir, the entire Sun Family is waiting outside. Should I take this guy over for a chat?" Wutian asked.
Qin Tianxuan reached out and snatched the limp-as-a-dead-dog Sun Xiong. "You go arrange lodging for Weiwei and Niannian. They’re still with Lingsu. I’ll handle things here."
Wutian bowed and departed.
Qin Tianxuan dragged Sun Xiong out of the hospital and went straight to the Sun Family’s car.
With a loud THUD, he smashed Sun Xiong directly onto the windshield.
Sun Haodong and his wife were terrified. Their daughter, Sun Fangfang, let out a piercing scream, while their eldest son, Sun Ying, shuddered and nearly scrambled under his seat.
They thought their second son had just fallen from an upper floor.
It wasn’t until Sun Xiong groggily picked himself up that the family scrambled out of the car, shouting as they checked on him.
Sun Xiong’s face was pale as he pointed a finger at Qin Tianxuan. "He... he’s terrifying! E-even Liu Huaxia... he beat him senseless! What... what do we do?"
Ah!
Sun Haodong’s mind went blank. He was completely stunned.
’So that damn girl’s brother is some kind of ruthless figure who can fight and kill!’
’Even Liu Huaxia, the Chief Instructor of the Martial Arts Arena, was useless against him?’
The highest level of authority the Sun Family could reach was someone of Liu Huaxia’s caliber.
’What are we supposed to do?’
Sun Haodong’s eyes darted around as he tried to think of a solution.
But his wife marched over with her hands on her hips. "Hey! You think you’re in the right just because you can fight? You’re that damn girl’s brother, which makes us your elders, doesn’t it? My Sun Family raised your sister, and we were gracious enough not to ask you for a single cent. And now you’re bullying my son? I’m not done with you!"
Sun Haodong’s spine straightened. "That’s right! Reason is on our side, so what do I have to fear? He can’t just be completely unreasonable, can he?"
’Not done with me?’ Qin Tianxuan laughed, but his smile was laced with killing intent.
He unbuttoned his shirt collar and nodded. "Not done, you say? Then how about we make things a little more satisfying!"
The moment the words left his mouth, his figure blurred, and he instantly reappeared in front of Sun Xiong.
With a loud BANG, he struck with cold ruthlessness, breaking Sun Xiong’s left hand with a single punch! He then spun around, twisted and broke the right hand of the eldest son, Sun Ying, and followed with a kick that knocked the heavily made-up Sun Fangfang unconscious.
After this lightning-fast series of attacks, Qin Tianxuan grabbed a handful of Sun Haodong’s hair and brutally tore it from his scalp.
Then, he wiped his hands clean on Sun Haodong’s shirt and walked over to Sun Haodong’s stunned wife.
"You’re ’not done with me’ for hitting your son once? Did you ever think about today when your whole family was beating my sister?"
Qin Tianxuan raised his hand, and the crisp sound of a slap echoed.
He patted the wife’s doughy face. "I’ve crippled your two sons and your daughter, and I’ve turned your husband into a bald man. Are you going to lose your mind now? Go on, say it again. ’Not done with me?’ You think you’re worthy?"
He put force into his final slap, sending half of the woman’s teeth flying from her mouth.
As he raised his hand to strike again, the members of the Sun Family were already huddled together, wailing in terror.
Just then, a timid voice called out, "Brother Tianxuan, please don’t!"
He turned to see Ah Xue standing at the doorway, dressed in a white hospital gown. She was weak and frail, her small body swaying.
Qin Tianxuan was shocked and rushed over to support her.
Ah Xue looked at the miserable state of the Sun Family and hesitated. "The two elders of the Sun Family were very kind to me. Brother Tianxuan, could you please stop hitting them?"
If it had been anyone else being such a bleeding-heart, Qin Tianxuan would have slapped them across the face and cursed them for being a moron.
But Ah Xue was different.
Not to mention the bond they shared from relying on each other since childhood, this girl was a true angel—a little angel who had grown up pure and innocent in the mountains. Her kindness was simply genuine.
A thought flashed through Qin Tianxuan’s mind, and he nodded firmly. "Ah Xue, I promise you. I will absolutely not lay another hand on this family, nor will I let my subordinates do so."
’Heh. There are ten thousand ways to make them pay without lifting a finger.’
Xia Xueqing was deeply moved. "Brother Tianxuan, I knew you were the best."
Qin Tianxuan smiled gently, then turned to glance at the Sun Family. "Tonight, I will personally visit your home to retrieve the rest of my sister’s luggage. From this day forward, Xia Xueqing will have no further connection to the Sun Family!"
At this, he made a gesture. "You can call for backup. Call whoever you want. I will go alone. Understand? Now, get lost!"
He supported Ah Xue as they left.
The Sun family huddled together, trembling.
"Go... go get these injuries documented, then find a lawyer!"
"Tonight! Didn’t he say he’s coming tonight to get that damn girl’s luggage? Let’s find some influential figures in Jin City to back us up!"
"Yes! We’ll get the injuries documented, present the evidence, and see who’s really in the right!"
’Tonight, we have to settle this once and for all!’
