Caesar's Moon
Chapter 125 - 124: Confrontation part 1
Chapter 125: Chapter 124: Confrontation part 1
In the streets of Alhin during the hot afternoon, Caesar was working with her crew and distributing flyers to the masses on the street.
While trying to distribute, some of them took while some ignored.
During the work, Caesar extended her arm forward to a beastfolk woman and smiled.
"Hey, Bodias sneakers is having a -"
"Not interested." The woman interjected without sparing her a gaze.
"Oh. Okay." Caesar replied.
Caesar sighted a human next and extended her arm out to give him a flyer.
"Hey, Bodias is -"
Caesar halted with her words as the man walked past her without bother.
Caesar then sighted a male beastfolk and tried to walk towards him to give him a flyer.
"Hey, can I -?"
"Piss off, ero-slut." The beastfolk nonchalantly interjected.
Hearing the response from the guy, Caesar stared at him for a while and sighed.
Caesar resumed her efforts to share the flyers but the results yielded the same thing.
However in the middle of her attempted distributions, Caesar handed a flyer over to a chubby redhead human.
The human stared at the flyer for a while and moved his sights to Caesar.
Caesar tilted her head as she gave him a warm and reassuring smile, only for the man to use the flyer to blow his nose, catching her off guard.
The man dropped the flyer on the ground and walked away.
After he had left, Caesar stared down at the soaked paper with disgust.
Time had passed and many of the flyer crew sat round a corner eating snacks while some leaned against the walls out of exhaustion.
"Damn. Today feels like shit." A green haired human among the crew said.
"Yeah. We barely gave out anything there." The cheetah beastfolk woman replied the man while drinking from her juice box.
"No shit. No one seemed interested." A pink haired human woman said as she was eating her chips, "But it’s just one of those days where you can’t seem to get anything done no matter how hard you try."
"Hey, I know... What if we go and ’chuck some flyers through the window of a speeding car ’?" A blue haired human asked mockingly.
"Not cool, dude." The cheetah beastfolk replied.
Meanwhile as Caesar was seated and leaning against the wall, she took notice of Anna glaring at Skhini maliciously from afar.
Skhini noted her hateful stare but couldn’t bring himself to look her in the eyes, leading him to stare down at the ground nervously.
Caesar turned her attention away from the two and gazed at the skies.
"Tomorrow is his match, huh? I just hope he can pull some miracle and survive." Caesar said in her heart, "Because he’s gonna need it a lot.
Come to think of it, none of the Mizukai family has bothered me so far... Especially Akari. Plus, I haven’t even gotten any news on my opponent for Thursday.
That’s odd. Really odd."
"Break time is over. Let’s move. " Anna said as she stood on her feet, "We are heading to a new street."
Later in another street known as Krakon, the crew were distributing flyers again but unlike earlier, their work seemed to be going smoother.
While the crew were sharing flyers, Caesar was speaking with a dark skinned beastfolk woman.
"Wow, are you sure this event will be good?" The woman asked.
"Yes. I’m a hundred percent sure. Otherwise they wouldn’t have asked us to promote them." Caesar answered with a smile, "Give them a try. You might like them."
"Alright then. I’ll attend." The woman said with a smile, "By the way, I watched the cafe video and your interview when you spoke out against the entire company. You’re really gutsy. You really told them all to fuck off.
Consider me your fan."
"Uh... Thanks." Caesar said with an arched brow, "Be sure to attend the Bodias event, okay?"
"Okay." The beastfolk answered.
As soon as Caesar turned her back on the beastfolk, she pouted a little and sighed.
"What a pain." Caesar said in her heart.
While Caesar continued with her work, Skhini who was successfully sharing flyers while smiling, took notice of Anna’s malicious glare directed at him again from afar which brought him to nervously turn his face away in guilt.
The male human who was about to collect a flyer from Skhini, stared at him with an arched brow.
However, Skhini’s irises glowed in alarm as he felt a disturbing pressure.
"Huh?!" Skhini said to himself as he turned to the direction of the disturbance itself.
Caesar’s irises also glowed in alarm while working and as she turned around, she saw a man approaching her with both hands in his pockets.
The man wore a charcoal grey hoodie that overshadowed his face.
Round his waists down to his feet were blue jeans and black shoes.
Underneath the veil of the hoodie, a sinister surfaced.
The man lunged towards Caesar, leaped in the air and descended to slam his foot on her but Caesar was quick enough to hop away from harm, leaving his foot to raise dust off the ground in the act.
"What the hell-?! Are you insane?!" Caesar asked.
The man however chuckled and lifted his head up.
"Caesar Moon. The usurper." The man said, "The nepo-bastard and the Mizukai-pet."
"We finally meet." The man continued as he shifted his gaze towards Caesar.
"Huh? Finally meet?" Caesar asked in confusion, "Who are you?"
The man chuckled for a time and spoke.
"How rude of me to drop in unannounced."
In the middle of him talking, a group of people watching, brought out their phones and started recording.
"I am your opponent for this coming Thursday." The man said, "I am what many call in the ero-ring ’The decayed’ but my name is-"
"Owen Grey." The man continued as he pulled his hood.
The man had messy blue hair that faded into pale blue tips and a large bang that framed his right eye.
His scleras were black and his irises purple.
The skin of the man was bronze in color and on his chin were vertically written roman numerals of "XX".
"I believe you recognize the name, don’t you? Especially the surname?" Owen asked with a smile.
Caesar stayed mute for a moment and said:
"Am I supposed to? There are millions of people answering Grey so you are not special."
However despite her answer, Caesar was troubled in her heart.
"He said he was my opponent for this Thursday but I never knew about. Come to think of it, I have been feeling some guy stalking me for some days and he matches that exact feeling ."
"Oh really? Not even the man who trained you personally?" Owen asked with a grin, "My father, Cedric Grey?"
The eyes of Caesar widened in shock and Owen couldn’t help but burst out in laughter.
"Cedric’s son?" Caesar asked in her heart, "But Cedric left for his son’s wedding. Which means he must have two sons, then.
But why is he is an ero-wrestler? Cedric may be crazy and is called the madman for a reason but he never struck me as the type that would let his own kid go into ero-wrestling."
"So... You are what my old man decided to train next, huh?" Owen asked with a grin as he slightly tilted his head to the right, "Another person chosen over his own kid. And what makes this better is that this one is a nepo.
Tell me... What did the Mizukais promise him that he chose to train you personally? Was it a large sum of money or did he just happen to train you for free just like he trained her?"
"I don’t know what you are talking about." Caesar replied.
"Oh really?" Owen asked.
Caesar took notice of the people recording this moment with their phones which increased her irritation.
"Hey! Can you all not do this, right now?!" Caesar said to them.
In the course of looking away, Owen’s grin widened.
Owen lunged towards Caesar and hurled his fist but Caesar, out of instinct raised her arms to guard the attack.
The force behind the punch pushed her back but she was able to swiftly regain her footing.
As soon as she steadied herself, Owen let out a deranged laughter, making Caesar narrow her eyes as she slowly brought her arms down.
"Looks like you really got some sharp reflexes, huh?" Owen said.
Caesar, being heavily irritated with what was happening, slightly snarled and spoke.
"Look, pal, I don’t know what your beef is with me and I don’t care. If you want a fight with me then wait till Thursday. It’s not even far.
In the meantime I have work to do and I’m in the middle of it."
Owen let out a small chuckle.
"I missed the part where that’s my problem."
"This little...!" Caesar said in her mind as she gritted her teeth.
Owen took a step forward, leading Caesar to raise her fists for a fight.
However before Owen could take another step forward, a feminine voice cut through.
"Hold!"
Owen and Caesar turned to the direction of the voice and saw the person to be Anna who had both arms crossed while scowling.
"Sir, I’m going to ask you as respectfully as I can to get out." Anna said, "If you don’t leave, I’m going to call the police."
The left eye of Owen narrowed and he chuckled a little.
"This is a business between two ero-wrestlers. Don’t interfere." Owen said.
"Sir, I don’t give a damn if it is between two cock suckers." Anna responded, "And clearly I don’t give a damn if this is between two ero-wrestlers.
Caesar Moon is my employee and a fellow coworker to the others. Whatever one-sided issues you have with her, leave it for another day."
Owen giggled maniacally and stuck out his tongue.
"Nah!" Owen said.
The response of Owen made Anna’s right twitch in anger.
"Boss... Call the police." A huge bald headed dark skinned human employee said to Anna as he walked past her, "In the meantime since this fool doesn’t want to respond to words, we’ll make him respond to force."
"Yeah. Since this bitch doesn’t do this the easy way, we gonna do this the hard way and put hands on this fool till the police get here." A fair skinned human with aqua blue hair said as he stretched his neck.
"I can get behind that." A dark skinned woman beastfolk said as she slammed her fist against her palm.
"Uh... Guys..." Caesar said with widened eyes.
"The choice is yours, fool." A redhead fair skinned beastfolk man said, "This ain’t the ero-ring. This ain’t the place where you make each other cum.
We gonna beat blood outta you if you don’t take your creepy ass shit outta here."
"Well, I’m not one for violence but if this guy doesn’t want to leave, then he deserves what comes next." The cheetah beastfolk woman said as she pushed off the wall she was leaning on.
Caesar, seeing her coworkers getting involved in this situation, opened her mouth to speak.
"Guy, I’m fine. I don’t need-"
"So what’s it gonna be?" A fair skinned beastfolk woman with orange hair interrupted as she was talking to Owen, "Are you going to get the hell out of here or are you going to get the lights jumped out of you?"
So many of the flyer crew gathered and glared at Owen but despite seeing the number of people gathered, Owen couldn’t help but grin.
The upper parts of his face was covered in shade and he asked:
"Is that all?"
