Driving in the truck after his talk with Morgan, AJ recalled her face and his words replayed in his head.

"I know what I am."

I’m weak... Pathetic and fearful."

"I’m not afraid of you."

After remembering those words, AJ furrowed his brows.

"Good. Let us see if that holds up well tomorrow, slayer." Morgan’s voice played in his head.

Done with remembering her words, the faces of AJ’s biological parents flashed in his mind.

"All you do is take, take, take and take! This is your chance to show you are worth something!" AJ’s father’s voice played in his mind.

"So what if they’re doing those things to you? As long as you are helping mommy and daddy bring in something then that’s all that matters." AJ’s mother’s voice played, "After all, it’s your mates as little as they are that are helping their parents bring in something to the table."

A memory washed over AJ of himself as a child, standing and trembling in front of a grown man who stared down at him with illuminating irises.

The man then grinned evilly at the child that stood in front.

AJ recalled again another memory of himself standing in front of a beast folk woman who stared down at him and smirked while her irises glowed.

Different faces flashed before the child in the mind of current AJ but in the middle of the facial transitions, the face of a fair skinned man with short orange hair and green eyes, smiled warmly and extended his arm forward.

"It’s okay, kid. You’re safe." The man said, "No one will hurt you again."

Three more faces of a horned brown skinned beastfolk woman with long brown hair and yellow eyes standing in the middle of horned beastfolk twin girls with a strong resemblance to her.

"Good morning, AJ." The woman said with a warm smile.

"Good morning, big brother!!" The girls said.

After remembering their faces, AJ’s face softened.

However his feelings of peace quickly came to an end as he halted due to a traffic jam.

AJ took notice of the traffic signs and saw it was in green yet the cars weren’t moving.

The sounds of vehicle horns filled the area and several angry voices alongside them.

"Get the fuck off the road!"

"Fuck off!!"

"Oi, get these idiots outta here, now!!"

In the middle of the road lay several half naked men and women both humans and beastfolks with cigarettes in their mouths and bottles of alcohol beside them.

"The clouds are moving, brah!" A human among them said with a smile.

"One of them got a big dick!" A beastfolk among them also said while chuckling.

"I thought it looked like a kitty!" A human woman replied while smiling.

As the blares from the vehicles grew, AJ placed his head on the steering wheel and muttered:

"Oh god..."

Elsewhere in a mall, Billy who had a black neon mask round his mouth was walking and talking with Loah.

While discussing, they took notice of the irritated countenance of Rachel beside them.

"What?" Billy asked.

"Doesn’t it bother you?" Rachel asked the two as she turned to them, "That that bitch took AJ away from us and his match is with her, tomorrow?"

"And what exactly do you want us to do?" Billy asked, "Have you forgotten that she fought us three-on-one but made it look like a one-on-three? You want us to go fight her again?

Sorry but no. My mouth is still healing and it’s thanks to this device that the doctors gave that is making it possible."

"They said it will be completely healed on Thursday so I’m not risking going out there and harming it even more." Billy continued as he pointed at the mask.

"As much as it annoys me that she is his opponent, we learnt that she had already talked to the higher ups beforehand and it had been booked." Loah said to Rachel while scowling, "It was supposed to be a surprise announcement. We were never going to get that match in the first place."

Loah scoffed.

"Imagine being stuck in undercard for over a year and when you finally get the chance to move up, someone who hasn’t been in the company for years just comes back and gets to eat at the table."

"Yeah, no shit. The fact that that little runt got to midcard rank in over a month while we have been stuck in undercard for over a year is infuriating." Billy replied, "We’ve not even moved up to upper undercard, but we finally seem to have that chance, that crazy bastard steps in and marks her spot.

If she beats the kid, his momentum ends."

"Hmph. I can’t stand it." Billy continued speaking as he turned his face away, "That little shit was at the bottom of the barrel in the development center, now he is a hotshot and he has the nerves to tell us when he’ll let us have a match with him.

Imagine the audacity of that little punk.

If it wasn’t for that crazy woman, I would have knocked his teeth out in the ring."

Rachel’s breathing became ragged in anger. She parted her lips and spoke.

"Hm?" Billy said as he turned his sight back to her.

"I don’t care about his momentum or how ’hot’ he is in the market right now... All I wanted was to hurt him." Rachel resumed, "To make him scream in pain. To see him squirm when I get an ero-capture from him.

To put my vagina in his mouth and fill it up for a marking point and watch him cough out my juices."

"To see his cute face in discomfort because that’s when he is more precious." Rachel said as Billy and Loah glanced at each other before returning their gaze back to Rachel, "That is when he is more beautiful."

Rachel gritted her teeth and lowly snarled.

"And she took that from me. She ’stole’ that from me."

"She stole him from ’us’!" Rachel continued speaking as she turned her sights to Billy and Loah.

"Once again, what the fuck do you want us to do?" Billy asked, "She fucking tore my mouth off! Do you know how crazy, sadistic, violent and unstable you gotta be to do shit like that and do it fast?

Not to mention, she forced me to smile after doing it."

"Rachel, if the three of us didn’t stand a chance against her in a three-on-one fight, what makes you think we are going anything now?" Loah asked, "Plus just like I said before, she didn’t steal him from us, she had already gotten him earlier and we didn’t know about it."

"By the way, did you forget to take your meds?" Loah asked with an arched brow.

"I am not acting up...!" Rachel said with a deep scowl, "You know the way I am, and right now I am angry. So angry that we let her take him from us!"

"I don’t think you are paying attention to everything we just said." Loah said.

"Yeah. You ain’t listening at all." Billy said as well, "There is nothing we can do right now. We might as well forget using him to boost our ranks."

Rachel lowly hissed. She tilted her head down and her snake pupils repeatedly diluted.

"You know... There were many things I took you for, but a coward wasn’t one of them-"

"Billy!" Rachel completed as she raised her head to glare at Billy while her irises glowed.

Hearing her words, the right eye of Billy narrowed while his irises illuminated in anger.

"Now who the hell are you calling coward, bitch?!" Billy asked.

Before both of them could get close to each other, Loah extended her arms to stop them from clashing.

"Both of you, calm down... And not here for Pete’s sake." Loah said, "We’re in a mall for crying out loud."

Loah turned her gaze towards Rachel and gave her a stern look.

"Rachel, take your medicine... ’Now’." Loah said as her irises glowed.

Rachel scowled at Loah and reluctantly brought out her pills and a bottle of water from her bag.

After taking them, Rachel exhaled.

"Better now?" Loah asked.

Rachel nodded her head in response while still scowling.

Loah took notice of other people staring at them and shifted her gaze back to Rachel.

"Look, as we have explained before, none of us like it but there is nothing we can do." Loah said, "Morgan had already gotten AJ first and she is clearly too strong for us to deal with.

I don’t like the idea that my chance to leave this stupid undercard rank was long taken thanks to her."

"Billy, obviously doesn’t like the fact that his chance to go above the undercard and put back the brat in his place was taken from him." Loah said as Billy turned his face away.

"And ’you’ don’t like the fact that you can’t do your things with AJ anymore." Loah said as Rachel angrily turned her face away.

"I get that. I really do but you have to consider we are way out of our league trying to deal with her." Loah continued, "I saw some of her videos and she’s scarier than I thought.

Right now, the only way we can even have a match with the brat is to hope he pulls off some miracle and beats her just like he managed to beat Magoi."

"That way, his momentum will be elevated and we make the fixation before others do." Loah as Rachel arched a brow.

Rachel stayed silent for a while until a devious smile crawled across her face.

"Then how about we make it happen?" Rachel asked.

"Huh?" Billy and Loah said simultaneously.

"You just said the only way we can have our match is if AJ pulls a miracle and beats her, right?" Rachel asked, "Then how about we make it happen by screwing her over?"

"Yo, you got a death wish?" Billy in shock.

"Screwing Morgan Qrow over?" Loah asked, "Do you hear yourself right now?"

"What? It’s what she deserves for what she did to us and getting in our way." Rachel answered, "Plus, we don’t have to jump her and get ourselves killed. We just have to make sure she doesn’t win."

"Rachel -"

"Come on!" Rachel interrupted Billy, "Don’t you want to finally leave the undercard while putting AJ in his place? Don’t you want to get back at that bitch for mutilating you?!"

Unable to answer, Billy turned his face away.

"The same with you!" Rachel said as she turned her sights to Loah, "Don’t you want to get back at her and still get the chance to climb up?!"

Loah stayed mute for a moment and scowled

"And how do you suppose we do that?" Loah asked.

Seeing the look in both Billy and Loah’s eyes, Rachel grinned while her irises illuminated.

"I was hoping you’d ask."
