Chapter 265: Chapter 265: Supreme Curse

The Parliament of Glass existed in a sector of the void where even the ambient light of the multiversal mirrors dared not trespass. It was a constructed dimension. It was built by the oldest Overlords to serve as a neutral ground for the apex predators of the Grand Reality.

The floor was a single pane of reflection. The sky was an endless expanse of absolute nothingness.

Today, the Parliament was not filled with the usual arrogant silence of unchallenged gods. It was vibrating with a frequency that mortal minds would interpret as pure, unfiltered panic.

Seven Multiversal Overlords had answered the emergency summons. They were entities of incomprehensible scale. They usually spent their eternities cultivating their own clusters of realities, treating the Omniverse as a quiet garden meant only for their enjoyment. Now, they were gathered in a tight circle, projecting the final memories of the crystallized time monolith into the center of the room.

They watched the memory play on a loop. They watched a biological man tear his own chest open. They watched the blinding white light and bleeding red dark matter spill into the void. They watched the terrifying, hyper accelerated orbit of three million universes spinning perfectly inside a biological ribcage.

Finally, they watched the man snap his fingers, instantly deleting an Overlord who had ruled for ten light years.

The memory faded, leaving the seven ancient beings in stunned, horrific silence.

Vara spoke first. Vara was the Weeping Equation. She appeared as a cascading waterfall of sentient Supreme laws. Her voice was the sound of a million calculations failing simultaneously.

"This variable is lawfully impossible. A biological vessel cannot sustain the conceptual mass of a single universe, let alone three million. The gravity should have compressed his soul into a singularity. He should not exist. His very presence in the void is a localized violation of the Grand Reality."

"Yet he does exist," replied Kalx, the Architect of Strings. Kalx manifested as a towering humanoid woven entirely from glowing cosmic threads. "And he is not simply carrying those universes. He is cultivating them. I have analyzed the telemetry data transmitted by the mercury entity before its subjugation. The anomaly known as Neo has engineered a perfect, closed loop ecosystem of absolute conflict."

Oul, the Conceptual Devourer, shifted in the darkness. Oul had no physical form. He was a sentient shadow that fed on the fundamental concepts of dying realities.

"Explain this ecosystem, Kalx. We must understand the prey before we attempt to hunt it."

"He is not prey, Oul," Kalx warned, his cosmic strings vibrating with deep anxiety. "He is a Walking Reality. We have analyzed his hidden powers. His physical shell is merely a projection. His true power lies in the system he has integrated into his biology. The first hidden power is Absolute Conversion. You saw what happened when the time monolith attacked him. The temporal energy did not bounce off his defenses. It was absorbed."

Saying that, Kalx waved a hand, projecting a magnified schematic of Neo and his Dominator Core.

"The anomaly operates on a gamified logic system," Kalx continued. "When a hostile force strikes him, the Dominator Core filters the attack. It breaks down the kinetic, magical, or temporal energy and redistributes it into the universes housed within his chest. To the mortals living inside him, our divine attacks manifest as sudden environmental blessings, system events, or spontaneous experience points. They absorb our power, level up, and feed the refined energy directly back to his core."

A murmur of absolute dread rippled through the Parliament of Glass.

"So, if we strike him, we only feed his internal army. We literally make him stronger by trying to kill him."

"Correct," Kalx confirmed. "Any direct confrontation is lawfully guaranteed to result in his empowerment. But that is not his most terrifying trait. The second hidden power is his biological singularity. We must consider what would happen if we somehow managed to bypass his conversion filter and strike a lethal blow."

Vara the Weeping Equation answered before Kaelen could finish. Her numbers glowed with a sick, pale light.

"Dead Man Detonation. If his biological shell fails, the localized containment of his Dominator Core will shatter. Three million hyper accelerated universes will instantly decompress into the void. The resulting omniversal blast radius would be incalculable. It would instantly vaporize this entire sector of the Grand Reality. Thousands of our mirrors would be shattered in the crossfire. Killing him is just as fatal to us as letting him live."

The silence returned, heavier and colder than before. These were gods who had never known fear. They had spent eons treating existence as a chessboard. Now, someone had walked up to the board, swallowed the pieces, and was demanding they play a game where the only rule was their inevitable consumption.

"There is a third hidden power," Kalx added softly. "The Systemic Hive Mind. Because every mortal inside his core is connected to his system interface, he possesses their combined cognitive processing power. Trillions of leveled up scholars, warriors, and tacticians are passively contributing to his reaction speed. You cannot outsmart him. He calculates every possible outcome faster than the Weeping Equation."

Oul the Conceptual Devourer drifted toward the center of the obsidian floor. The shadow pulsed with a dark, sinister intent.

"Direct attacks fail," Oul hissed, "Lethal blows result in mutual destruction. Tactical outmaneuvering is impossible. Therefore, we must not fight the man. We must fight the system."

The other Overlords focused their attention on the sentient shadow.

"He relies on the mortals inside his chest to process his energy," Oul explained. "He relies on their endless progression. Their system interface requires them to face challenges, defeat them, and grow. What happens if they face a challenge they cannot defeat?"

Vara ran the calculations. "If the internal population experiences a mass extinction event, the energy flow will reverse. The Dominator Core will starve. The golden spark of the Grand Reality will consume his biological shell from the inside out to sustain itself."

"Precisely," Oul purred. "We will not not attack Neo. We will create a supreme curse. We forge an entity made of absolute paradox and anti logic. We use the tether he formed with his newly conquered mirrors to secretly inject this curse directly into his Dominator Core. We will bypass his defenses by making the attack look like a natural system event."

Kalx nodded slowly. "Yes, We will drop a monster into his sandbox. A monster that his system cannot quantify. A raid boss that his mortals cannot kill. It will slaughter his internal population. The system will crash. The man will die from the inside."

"Agreed, this feasible."

The seven Multiversal Overlords murmured in agreement.

The plan was flawless. It was cowardly, but survival in the Omniverse rarely favored the bold. They began to pool their chaotic energies in the center of the room, working together to forge a virus capable of breaking the Gamemaster.

Trillions of conceptual miles away, Neo sat perfectly still on his throne of solidified white light.

The First Universal Empire was quiet. The two captured mirrors from the subjugated Overlords floated gently above his balcony, completely tethered to his expanding domain.

Neo was holding a crystal goblet filled with liquid starlight. He was not looking at the captured mirrors. He was staring blindly out into the night sky, his inverted black and white eyes glowing with intense, terrifying amusement.

He took a slow sip from the goblet.

The golden text of his system interface was currently projecting a live audio feed directly into his consciousness. When he subjugated the mercury entity and the living constellation, he did not just take their territory. He assimilated their omniversal frequencies. He was listening to every single word spoken in the Parliament of Glass.

He heard their panic. He heard their detailed analysis of his hidden powers. He heard Oul propose the conceptual virus.

Neo did not feel threatened. He felt incredibly, deeply satisfied.

The ancient gods thought they had found a loophole. They thought they were being clever by targeting his internal mortals. They failed to realize that Neo had spent a thousand millennia designing the perfect ecosystem for absolute conflict. His mortals thrived on despair. They leveled up the fastest when they were pushed to the absolute brink of annihilation.

"A Supreme Curse," Neo whispered to himself, a bright, unhinged smile spreading across his pale face. "A Reality grade weapon made of anti logic. This unbeatable monster had been dropped directly into my core."

He set the goblet down. He raised his hand and opened the administrative panel for the three million universes housed within his chest.

The Multiversal Overlords were currently forging a weapon of mass destruction. They were going to inject it into his biology.

Neo began to type. He was not raising his defenses. He was not attempting to block the incoming supreme curse. He was simply drafting the patch notes for his inhabitants. He was preparing the global server announcement.

The system interface flared with brilliant gold light as he finalized the text.
