Building Interstellar Empire With Universal Synthesis
Chapter 264: Multiverse Is Me
Chapter 264: Chapter 264: Multiverse Is Me
I hovered in the empty space where three million universes had once existed, but I was not alone.
The crushing silence of the void was a lie. My ears were ringing with the sound of a trillion trillion voices.
I looked down at my hands. My skin was translucent. Beneath the pale surface, my veins did not pump blood. They pumped swirling rivers of starlight.
I focused my perception inward, diving into the depths of my mutated Dominator Core. What I saw defied even my own grand expectations. I had assumed the mass synthesis protocol would simply burn those three million stagnant universes into raw fuel. I thought I had digested them. I was wrong. The system had evolved far beyond simple consumption.
The Dominator Core was no longer an engine of destruction. It was a miniature, perfectly contained multiverse.
The three million realities I had swallowed were hovering perfectly intact within the dimensional space of my heart. They were no longer stagnant. The golden energy of the Grand Reality had flooded their skies. I had become their sky. The inhabitants of those realms had not died when I crushed their universes. They had simply been relocated into the divine sanctuary of my own biology.
I watched them closely. Their linear time was heavily accelerated within my core. Entire civilizations were rising and falling with every beat of my heart. The mortals inside my chest were waking up to a brand new system interface. The stagnant equilibrium was broken.
They were fighting, striving, and grinding for levels under a sky that pulsed with my bleeding red dark matter and blinding white light.
And the most terrifying part was the energy cycle. Every time a warrior inside my heart leveled up, I felt a microscopic surge of golden power flow into my muscles.
Every time an empire fell and a new one rose, my omniversal density increased. I was no longer just drawing power from the environment. I was a walking, self sustaining ecosystem of absolute conflict. All life within those three million universes lived inside me. Their ambitions were my fuel. Their victories were my strength. I was a living god housing a living reality.
I smiled. The sensation was intoxicating. I did not just rule a domain. I was the domain.
It was time to introduce myself to the neighbors.
I turned away from the empty sector of my local grid and stepped toward the dimensional tear I had created earlier. The golden energy shielding my body flared brilliantly as I passed through the glass boundary of my original multiverse.
I entered the colorless void of the Grand Reality.
The transition was effortless this time. The crushing, conceptual weight of the Omniverse pressed against me, but my internal multiverse pushed back. The three million universes beating in my chest generated a localized gravitational field that perfectly neutralized the void. I floated in the endless ocean of floating mirrors with absolute comfort.
I began to move. I did not fly. I simply dictated my spatial coordinates to the Grand Reality, and the void warped around me to accommodate my will.
I traveled past thousands of mirrors. Some contained chaotic realms of pure fire. Some held dimensions composed entirely of singing crystals. I ignored the smaller reflections. I was looking for the apex predators. I was looking for the entities that ruled this specific sector of the infinite library.
I found them near a cluster of ten massive, burning mirrors.
Three figures were waiting in the void. They were Multiversal Overlords, beings who had transcended their own local realities and claimed territory in the Omniverse. They were colossal, in light years scale.
The first was a being of liquid mercury, shifting constantly between the shapes of a dragon and a humanoid knight. The second was a living constellation, a cluster of a billion captured stars arranged in the rough silhouette of a woman. The third was a monolith of pure, crystallized time, projecting a terrifying aura that aged the surrounding void into dust.
They had sensed my arrival. The birth of a new Omniversal Challenger is not a quiet event.
I stopped a short distance away from them, letting my golden aura flare against the absolute darkness.
"You have strayed far from your egg, newborn," the monolith of crystallized time projected into my mind. "We felt the localized synthesis. You ate a fraction of your own sandbox. You think this makes you worthy to float among the ancient ones."
The living constellation laughed. The sound was like a million supernovas detonating in unison. "He glows with the golden spark, but his vessel is so small. He does not even possess a cosmic avatar. He is just a man."
"Submit your mirror to our collective," the mercury entity demanded, extending a shapeless, liquid blade toward my throat. "We will harvest your remaining universes for fuel. In exchange, we will allow your consciousness to serve as a foot soldier in our vanguard. Refuse, and we will shatter your reflection into atomic dust."
I did not draw a weapon. I did not summon my Genesis Behemoths. I did not even raise my voice.
I simply reached up and placed both of my hands on my own chest.
"You look at me and you see a single man,"You rule your multiverses from the outside. You treat your realms as territory to be defended. You are fragile. If someone shatters your mirrors, you lose your power. You become nothing."
I gripped the fabric of my own metaphysical flesh and pulled it apart.
I made the center of my chest completely transparent. I revealed the true nature of the mutated Dominator Core to the three ancient Overlords.
The blinding white light and bleeding red dark matter poured out into the void, completely overpowering their cosmic auras. But it was not the light that froze them in place. It was the sight of the three million universes swirling in a flawless, hyper accelerated orbit directly inside my ribcage.
I projected the collective psychic weight of my internal inhabitants outward. I forced the three Overlords to feel the ambitions, the wars, and the system notifications of trillions of mortals all at once. I forced them to hear the synchronized heartbeat of an entire localized reality living inside a single biological shell.
The reaction was instantaneous. The sheer conceptual horror of my existence struck them like a physical blow.
The monolith of time cracked down the middle. Its temporal aura shattered as it realized it could not age me. To age me, it would have to simultaneously age the three million universes living inside me, a feat that would instantly drain its own existence.
The living constellation dimmed. The billion stars making up her body recoiled in absolute terror.
"What are you?" the mercury entity gasped, its liquid blade dissolving back into its shapeless form. It backed away, the arrogance completely stripped from its voice. "That is impossible. A biological vessel cannot contain a living reality. The metaphysical contradiction should have ripped your soul into nothingness."
"I am the Gamemaster," I replied smoothly, letting the transparent window on my chest close. "And I have integrated the game into my own blood."
The monolith of time tried to recover its composure. It surged forward, attempting to trap me in a localized temporal loop.
I did not dodge. I let the temporal energy strike my chest.
The attack vanished. It did not bounce off. It was absorbed. I redirected the hostile kinetic and temporal energy directly into the Mortal Realms housed within my core. To the inhabitants inside, the attack manifested as a sudden, glorious system event. A rain of golden experience points fell upon their planets. My mortals rejoiced, leveled up, and instantly fed the newly refined energy right back to me.
I raised my right hand and snapped my fingers.
A pulse of synthesized, golden dark matter erupted from my core. It struck the monolith of time with the combined physical weight of three million universes. The ancient Overlord was instantly pulverized. Its crystalline body shattered into microscopic fragments, and its local consciousness was deleted from the Grand Reality forever.
The void fell utterly silent.
The living constellation and the mercury entity did not attack. They did not speak. They simply stared at the empty space where their companion had existed a second prior. Then, very slowly, they bowed their heads.
They understood the hierarchy. They were kings ruling over kingdoms. I was a kingdom pretending to be a man. If they fought me, their attacks would only feed the trillions of hungry warriors living inside my heart. If they killed me, my internal multiverse would detonate, instantly erasing this entire sector of the Omniverse. I was an invincible paradox.
They felt true, unadulterated fear. It radiated from them in pathetic waves, washing over my golden aura.
The system interface chimed in the corner of my vision.
[Threat Neutralized.]
[Omniversal Dominance Asserted.]
[Reputation Earned: The Walking Reality.]
[Nearby Overlords Subjugated.]
"Your mirrors belong to me now," I commanded softly.
The two ancient entities fell to their knees in the colorless void, trembling under the terrifying weight of my gaze.
I stood victorious in the infinite dark. I had left my sandbox to find a challenge. Instead, I had simply found a larger audience to witness my absolute perfection. The Grand Reality was vast, but it would learn to kneel. Every mirror, every god, and every hidden dimension would eventually realize the truth.
The Multiverse was no longer just a place. It was me.
