The Patriarch Emerges

Then another appeared.

And another.

Then another.

One after another, figures began to fill the heavens.

At first, there were only a few.

Then dozens.

Then hundreds.

Before long, nearly a thousand figures stood silently behind Leandro.

Every single one of them possessed Stellar Sovereign Realm cultivation.

The spectators were stunned.

Nobody spoke.

For several breaths, the entire Sovereign Blessed Land seemed to forget how to make a sound.

Then the pressure descended.

It came without warning.

A terrifying weight swept across the battlefield and crashed down on everyone present.

Some of the weaker disciples couldn’t withstand it.

Their legs trembled.

Their faces turned pale.

Then their knees buckled, and they collapsed onto the ground.

A thousand Stellar Sovereign experts.

Just thinking about that number was enough to make one’s scalp go numb.

What exactly did an army like this represent?

It wasn’t simply a gathering of powerful cultivators.

It was an overwhelming force.

If Leandro truly wanted to, he could probably sweep across the entire Celestial Capital Domain by himself.

The thought was absurd.

Completely absurd.

And yet, no one could dismiss it after seeing what stood before them.

What kind of monster could create puppets like these?

Was puppetry really a lesser path?

Were formations truly a lesser art?

If they were, then why did both become so terrifying once they fell into Leandro’s hands?

Nobody had an answer.

They could only stare.

The thousand puppets moved at the same time.

Their movements were perfectly synchronized.

One step.

One turn.

One shift of their hands.

Everything happened together.

There wasn’t even the slightest mistake.

It was almost unnatural.

They didn’t look like a thousand individuals anymore.

They looked like a single existence divided into a thousand bodies.

Behind them, the surrounding formations began to respond.

The air itself seemed to tremble.

Leandro slowly raised both hands.

His fingers moved.

Quickly.

One hand seal followed another.

His movements were precise and fluid, as though he had rehearsed them countless times.

Then he began to chant.

Ancient words spilled from his lips.

Low.

Deep.

Difficult to understand.

The strange sound echoed through the heavens.

Nobody understood what he was saying.

Yet everyone could feel something changing.

The formations around the battlefield began to connect.

One formation linked to another.

Then another.

Then another.

Lines of energy appeared across the ground and sky.

They intertwined.

They crossed.

They spread farther and farther.

Before long, the entire battlefield seemed to have become part of one enormous formation.

The killing intent grew heavier.

It didn’t erupt immediately.

Instead, it kept building.

Layer by layer.

Like an enormous blade slowly being sharpened.

The pressure descended from every direction.

Even the spectators standing far away could feel a chill crawling up their spines.

Some instinctively took a few steps backward.

Others stared at the battlefield with wide eyes.

Nobody dared to make a sound.

It was as if countless formations were slowly converging toward a single point.

Everything was being gathered.

Power.

Energy.

Killing intent.

All of it was being compressed into one terrifying attack.

One strike.

One limitless killing blow.

Something capable of tearing apart everything caught within its range.

Norman watched the scene from a distance.

Yet strangely, he wasn’t afraid.

Instead, a smile slowly appeared on his face.

His eyes began to shine.

There was excitement in them.

Pure excitement.

Something inside him had been stirred.

"Brother..."

His voice was barely above a whisper.

He stared at Leandro.

Then at the countless formations covering the battlefield.

His smile widened.

"Teach me!"

There was no fear in his voice.

Not even a trace of hesitation.

Only genuine excitement.

For years, Norman had followed the path laid out before him.

His family had resources.

His family had techniques.

His family had powerful inheritances.

There had always been someone ahead of him.

Someone to teach him.

Someone to tell him what to cultivate.

What to learn.

What path to follow.

But this was different.

What he was seeing now was something entirely different.

It wasn’t merely a powerful technique.

It was a possibility.

A new direction.

A path that belonged to him.

For the first time, Norman felt as though he had discovered something he genuinely wanted to pursue.

Something he could build with his own hands.

Something that didn’t need to be inherited.

Something that didn’t have to be handed down by his family.

He could create it himself.

That realization struck him harder than any attack could have.

His blood began to boil.

His heart pounded faster.

The excitement coursing through his body was almost impossible to suppress.

Norman suddenly raised both hands.

His aura exploded.

The surrounding air shook violently.

Then his voice thundered across the heavens.

"Gods fall, demons descend—heaven and earth alike are annihilated!!"

BOOM!

The heavens suddenly darkened.

A violent pressure swept across the entire Sovereign Blessed Land.

Everyone below instinctively looked upward.

Then they froze.

What they saw left them completely speechless.

A brilliant light appeared above Norman.

At first, it looked like a projection.

But that assumption lasted only for a moment.

It wasn’t a projection.

It was a world.

An entire world had appeared above the battlefield.

Its existence was almost impossible to comprehend.

It was formed from both the Divine Great Laws of World and the Demonic Great Laws of World.

Divine power and demonic power intertwined within it.

The enormous world slowly descended from above.

It wasn’t moving particularly fast.

It didn’t need to.

Its sheer presence was terrifying enough.

Everyone beneath it felt as though an ancient mountain range had suddenly been placed upon their shoulders.

The pressure was indescribable.

Before that enormous world, the surrounding laws seemed to lose their brilliance.

The formations began trembling.

The void twisted around it.

Space distorted as though it could no longer bear the weight of what was descending.

Even the heavens seemed to surrender.

Leandro’s eyes narrowed.

For the first time, the excitement in his expression disappeared.

His gaze became completely serious.
