Chapter 93: Chapter 76: Dismantling the House, Seizing All Assets

In the churning Fog, a speck of firelight glowed like a firefly in the dead of night.

Shen Xing and Xia Wanyin, with their two teams totaling over forty people, advanced steadily in the light of the fire.

He was being carried on a Beastman’s shoulder, leisurely holding a Horse Lantern.

Behind him followed a woman in a long robe, her full head of red hair hidden beneath a hood.

For this outing, Shen Xing had only brought a single Beastman Squad, which naturally included Hellish Roar.

As for Blood Roar and Dahou, they had suffered considerable injuries during the fight against the Extraordinary Level Werewolf and were currently recuperating in the territory.

The group of Werewolf captives was also left behind in the territory.

"How much longer?" Shen Xing turned his head and asked.

The red-haired woman looked up, glanced around, and said softly, "We’re almost there... Just two or three hundred meters more to the right."

Shen Xing nodded, then directed his troops to change direction.

Soon, they arrived at the edge of a dense forest.

Towering black trees stood tall, their bare branches covered in a mass of black vines that shrouded the entire forest.

A look of surprise flashed across Xia Wanyin’s face. "So Gideon’s territory is inside this forest? No wonder I couldn’t find it after searching several times. The guy was hidden too well."

’Gideon’s territory is in a really good spot,’ Shen Xing thought, nodding to himself.

The dense, giant trees provided a natural defense. Ordinary people couldn’t venture deep into this forest, let alone find his territory.

’I have to say, the guy was really lucky.’

’Not only was his starting territory well-hidden, but he also managed to recruit a Heroic Level figure like Reina.’

’But he just didn’t want to develop it properly. He was dealt a great hand and played it terribly.’

"Hellish Roar, clear a path," Shen Xing commanded in a deep voice.

"Yes, Lord!"

The tall Beastman acknowledged the order, hoisted his Black Water Axe, and strode forward.

"SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!"

The giant axe flashed with cold light, and the dense vines, as if made of paper, were instantly severed.

He then continued forward, repeating the process and forcefully carving a wide path through the vine-choked thicket.

The group advanced steadily behind Hellish Roar.

"Shen Xing, this Beastman of yours is so strong," Xia Wanyin praised softly from the side.

"Of course. Hellish Roar is an Extraordinary Level Soldier Type now," Shen Xing replied with a hint of pride. After all, this was the first great warrior he had personally trained.

"No, I get a very special feeling from this Beastman."

"Special?"

"Yes. I feel like he has a very unique aura, completely different from other Beastman Species."

Shen Xing grew thoughtful at her words. ’It might be because Hellish Roar has activated two Talents.’

’On top of that, he also fused with the [Blood of Inferior Demon], making his combat power a cut above others of the same tier.’

’That’s why he was able to crush a Tier Two Extraordinary Werewolf of the same level right after breaking through.’

’Come to think of it, I haven’t checked Hellish Roar’s Attributes since his breakthrough.’

With a hint of anticipation, he opened the attribute panel.

[Hell Vanguard: Hellish Roar]

[Level: Level 9 (Tier Two)]

[Potential: Boss ★]

[Detailed Attributes: Click to view]

...

Shen Xing: "!!!"

’This upgrade is fucking terrifying.’

’All Attributes have nearly doubled, and his agility skyrocketed from just over 300 to almost 600.’

’This means that if Hellish Roar uses [Mirror Image Clone] now, he can create five clones at once.’

’A breakthrough from Tier One to Tier Two doesn’t activate new Skills like a Potential increase does.’

’But it does cause a massive surge in physical stats, leading to a qualitative change.’

’Besides that, there’s a more crucial hidden improvement, which is what Gideon mentioned before: Extraordinary Level experts can control the power in their bodies with greater precision.’

’Although this isn’t reflected on the system panel, it’s the fundamental difference between the Extraordinary and Apprentice levels.’

For example.

An Apprentice Level Beastman using all its strength to strike a boulder could shatter it to pieces in an instant.

But if an Extraordinary Level Beastman struck the same boulder with the same force, they could split the stone in half without harming an egg placed underneath it.

That’s the difference.

This is why the gap between the Apprentice Level and the Extraordinary Level is so large.

It’s not just a difference in Attributes.

While Shen Xing was lost in these thoughts, Hellish Roar had already cleared several hundred meters through the forest.

The surrounding vines gradually became sparser.

The party passed through a few thickets of bushes and saw a clearing appear ahead in the dense jungle.

A Campfire was burning brightly, illuminating an area of two to three hundred meters.

Through the light of the fire, rows of residences, Arrow Towers, warehouses, and other buildings could be seen standing in abundance.

Around the perimeter, a dozen or so Werewolves dressed in coarse linen, looking like villagers, were patrolling the area.

"This is Gideon’s territory."

Shen Xing observed the scene for a moment, the corners of his mouth turning up slightly. "This guy... his development was pretty good."

Although the territory didn’t have walls, its basic infrastructure was quite complete.

In the center of the territory, he even saw several special buildings.

"Let’s go. We’re moving in."

At Shen Xing’s command, the party advanced quickly.

"Who goes there?!"

Several patrolling Werewolves spotted the approaching figures and immediately raised their weapons, taking a defensive stance.

They were still unaware that their Lord was dead, and they continued to guard the territory faithfully.

"Reina, go and explain the situation."

Shen Xing looked at the red-haired woman beside him and said coldly, "Tell them: either they submit, or they can go down below and join their Lord."

Reina was silent for a moment, then nodded lightly and walked forward.

"Lady Reina... is that you?"

Seeing a familiar figure, surprise appeared in the eyes of the Werewolves, and some of the vigilance on their faces dissipated.

Reina explained to them what had happened and relayed Shen Xing’s words.

When the Werewolves heard that their Lord was dead, and that even the Tier Two Extraordinary Werewolf Warwick had been killed in battle, they found it incredibly hard to believe.

Two of the Werewolves, unable to accept this fact, even charged at Shen Xing’s group in a frenzy, but they were cut down by a single swing of Hellish Roar’s axe.

Only after personally witnessing the terrifying power of this Beastman did the remaining Werewolves accept the truth.

Their Lord was truly dead.

And the Lord before them was even more powerful than Gideon.

After a period of internal conflict, the remaining Werewolves all knelt and declared their surrender.

Then, under their watchful eyes, Shen Xing swaggered into Gideon’s territory.

He pushed his wheelchair forward, his gaze sweeping over the rows of small wooden cabins, warehouses, watchtowers, and other buildings.

He ordered, "Tear down all these residences, Arrow Towers, and watchtowers. Bring the materials back."

These were not complete buildings but rather basic infrastructure of the territory, so they couldn’t be taken back whole.

They could only be dismantled to recover some of the materials.

The Beastmen immediately and skillfully set to work. With a few swings of their Iron Axes, they demolished a watchtower.

Even the newly surrendered Werewolves joined the demolition crew. One by one, the residences collapsed, turning into piles of materials on the ground.

The entire territory was plunged into an unprecedented frenzy of demolition.

Xia Wanyin, standing to the side, was already used to this. She was seriously sensing her surroundings, a thoughtful expression on her face, as if she had learned something new again.

Next, Shen Xing pushed his wheelchair to the central area of the territory.

When he saw the buildings next to the Campfire, his eyes instantly lit up!

In the clearing was a hole, about three or four meters in diameter, from which a faint Blue light emanated. It looked like some kind of creature’s nest.

Beside the nest was a sacred Moon Well, its opening adorned with numerous vines and Green leaves.

In addition, there was a black building constructed from metal and Wood, with a chimney on its roof.

"Huh? Gideon’s territory actually has a Blacksmith Shop."

Xia Wanyin came up from behind, her tone surprised. "A complete mysterious building like this is worth one or two million."

Shen Xing nodded in satisfaction.

He had discovered a total of three special buildings in Gideon’s territory: an Ordinary Three-Star Wolfman Nest, a Moon Well, and a Blacksmith Shop.

These could all be dismantled, turned back into complete buildings to be moved to his own territory, or sold.

The prerequisite was that the Lord of this territory was already dead; otherwise, other Lords would not have the authority to remove them.

"Pick one."

Shen Xing looked at Xia Wanyin. After all, she had also contributed to dealing with Gideon.

"Huh?" Xia Wanyin was taken aback and shook her head. "No, it’s okay. I didn’t do much, so I can’t take these."

"Besides, I already have a Blacksmith Shop and a Moon Well, and I don’t like that Wolfman Nest."

"Alright."

Shen Xing didn’t stand on ceremony with her and proceeded to dismantle all three buildings.

"RUMBLE... RUMBLE..."

A series of violent tremors rang out.

The three buildings simultaneously rose from the ground, accelerating, spinning, and shrinking in mid-air.

They then transformed into three miniature buildings, each encased in a hazy bubble.

With a wave of his hand, Shen Xing collected them all into his inventory.

"Lord, the warehouse doors are open! There are a lot of supplies inside!" Hellish Roar shouted excitedly, standing in front of a three-meter-tall wooden building.

Shen Xing immediately pushed his wheelchair over.

When he arrived at the entrance and looked inside the warehouse, a delighted smile appeared on his face.

Inside were piles of sacked wheat, dry rations, and some air-dried, unidentifiable chunks of meat.

In another corner, there was a large quantity of building materials like Wood, Black Iron, and Black Crystal.

’This guy had a lot of supplies in his territory.’

’My Food supplies were running low. This solves an urgent problem.’

Pleased, Shen Xing waved his hand and collected all the supplies into his inventory.

[Acquired: Damp Wheat * 327 kg]

[Acquired: Dry Rations * 428 kg]

[Acquired: Black Bread * 246]

[Acquired: Unknown Air-Dried Meat Chunks * 243 kg]

[Acquired: Wood * 3257]

[Acquired: Stone * 1624]

[Acquired: Black Iron * 410]

[Acquired: Dusk Fire * 757]

[Acquired...]

...

And with that, everything that had belonged to Gideon was now Shen Xing’s.

The Food added up to over a thousand kilograms, enough to support the territory’s development for at least half a month.

Of course, that was provided he didn’t continue to mass-produce troops.

But regardless, the haul from this trip was already quite substantial.
