The nearby Black Moon Knight immediately raised his Demon Shadow Sword and swung at his neck.

Sensing death approaching, the tough-guy facade on Gideon’s face instantly vanished. He scrambled to beg for his life, "No, don’t kill me! I was wrong!"

Yet the Demon Shadow Sword didn’t hesitate for a moment, continuing its downward arc.

"Don’t kill me! I’ll give you money!"

The blade stopped less than five centimeters from his neck.

Shen Xing regarded him with a smirk. "Weren’t you being all tough just now? Ready to die before you’d yield?"

"Boss... I was just kidding." Gideon’s face was as pale as a sheet, so scared he’d pissed himself a little. "I don’t want to die! If you let me go, I’ll give you all my savings."
