A cat’s cry suddenly sounded from the corner, making everyone pause with their chopsticks.

Turning to look, they saw a small, cream-colored kitten strolling leisurely across the smooth living room floor.

"Where’d this cat come from?" Qin Lang asked, looking puzzled. "Shen Xing, did you get a cat?"

Xu Jiayi also turned her head, giving Shen Xing a strange look.

"No, it belongs to a... a friend of mine," Shen Xing explained with a dry cough. "She’s going out of town for a few days, so she asked me to look after her pet."

"A friend? You actually have other friends besides us?"

Qin Lang stared at Duoduo on the floor, his expression suspicious. "This cat is so well-groomed. You can tell it belongs to a girl."

"Haha, a man’s dreams can change." Qin Lang squatted next to the platform, fiddling with the buttons on it. "With this size, I ask you, what man could resist firing a shot?"

"Be careful," Shen Xing warned. "This thing is incredibly powerful. It can easily one-shot Extraordinary Level creatures. Don’t blow up my house."

"Don’t worry, don’t worry."

Qin Lang nodded repeatedly, but still couldn’t keep his hands off the cannon platform.

Xu Jiayi also walked over. Looking at the menacing war machine, she asked softly, "A cannon platform that can one-shot Extraordinary Creatures like this must be expensive to make, right? Do you have enough for yourself?"
